Nice breakdown of the two languages! When you talk about R though, you may want to mention the Tidyverse ecosystem which really makes working in R a lot more accessible. Tidyverse coupled with the power of ggplot is a powerful combination that I find hard to give up 😊
Hey McKay, question might look silly but can you suggest which one has a better visualization like pleasant for eyes and good looking diagrams also include other options if there any better like tableau, javascript etc...
You can make both look great, so for aesthetics it really doesn't matter. Tableau is a lot easier for drag and drop, javascript is more of a language used for web development so in the world of data viz it's not really applicable. You use html and css usually for website and UX/UI design.
Either works! R is more of a statistics and math heavy language while python does it but is more of an all around language. Python might be easier to pick up if you know c++ already

Yep you have a good point! Tidy verse is something that is great with R
this is just awesome!!! please keep making vids

I’m a mathematician, should I learn Python or R?
I know c++

Go with R, it clicks better if you are a mathematician.
Another vote for Python. Honestly, I don't get why people still keep updating R considering its syntax. Just let it die already.
This was really helpful! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi McKay,
Can you make a tutorial on how to create a soccer pass heat map using Python!
Many thanks
Dylan
Hey Dylan i have made those tutorials if you check out the soccer visualizations playlist on my channel! Cheers
