We rode Pipeline: The Surf Coaster at SeaWorld Orlando, the world's first surf coaster!
Join Clint and Madisen as they head to SeaWorld Orlando for Pipeline: The Surf Coaster media day! They check out the ride, and merchandise, and give their thoughts on the world's first surf coaster!
Pipeline: The Surf Coaster looks like a surfboard and will mimic the feeling of riding on a wave. There are five airtime movements including a “wave curl”, simulating an “alley-oop”, a move that only the best surfers in the world can pull off. Pipeline: The Surf Coaster features 2,950 feet of track with a launch of 110 feet and a max speed of 60 MPH.
If you are a Platinum pass holder, you can begin riding from 5/12 - 5/15. Gold 5/18 - 5/20. Silver 5/21 - 5/23. Bronze 5/24 - 5/25. And all pass members and fun cards 5/26.

It’s perfectly fine speed wise. The launch doesn’t look fast but packs a punch. I don’t think stand up coasters need to be super intense.
