I just loved that sight - no pretensions - just a couple with their dogs (and 4 of them at that!) and their BBQ grill out for the day. Liked the homemade tiller extension as well.

Those Fjord 40's look so much more appropriate on the flat river than they do going through Haulover. But then again the Midnight Expresses look completely out of place on the river and quite at home running Haulover.
That 2nd boat only positive use is to kinda go fast! If you open the hatches to be outside you have to look around them to see anything! Hope that aluminum bass boat never tries to go out the inlet 😁

IDK if it's the doggos, or just the genuineness of Florida Man and Florida Woman cruising the same waters as superyachts without a care in the world. We can't all be superyacht owners, and for the sake of the environment, shouldn't be. But that right there? That's sustainable and achievable.

The mystery boat is a 32 ft DOUG WRIGHT CATAMARAN. IT WAS RACED AS THE PAPAS PILAR RACE BOAT WHEN IT RACED. THE OWNER NOW USES IT AS A TENDER FOR HIS YACHT

IMO, there is only one real boating guy: the one with 4 dogs. The rest is mostly showing off, which became a standard today. This rule however is not applicable to the guys with super sport boat (2 open hatches in the beginning) and Hinkley

Especially like when you go out a ways and so we can see what it's like if you're on a boat coming in to the inlet and all the background buildings and Beach it's just awesome! And I've never been there and never experienced it but now I can thank you! Don't like the circling the boats that makes me dizzy and motion sickness! But I did like the one you did when you followed those two girls who were bouncing in the front of the boat all the way out that was good camera control. Keep it up send us more! And keep giving us an updates videos on the sand removal and where the people are still partying and beer can Island and what's left in Sandbar yet today?

Lots of fun on the water!! LOL!!! I do have a question tho. Why do some boats have registration numbers on the side of their boats and others do not?? Where I live in Montana all boats have to have numbers displayed.
Smaller boats in Florida are required to have registration numbers on the hull, but only on the front left is where the yearly registration decal is placed. The larger vessels can be Coast Guard documented vessels to where the boat name is registered with the Coast Guard and the registration is then usually found down in the engine room area out of view. Most of the larger yachts are chartered and they are documented vessels and inspected more thoroughly by the Coast Guard.

🤣 The nautical equivalent of "mall crawling" - driving around busy parking lots just to be seen. Just like most mall crawlers (with vehicles never used for the intended purpose), most of these boats rarely leave the dock other than for very short trips like this for the owner to be seen.
