More research could be done to review the car and explain the positive traits. Three cylinder powerplant, that was designed to be quieter and more fuel efficient compared to all the competitors that you mentioned. The metal that was used in the engine that makes this car lighter? The placement of turbo and has a smaller size so there is less lag. The CVT that uses a chain instead of a rubber belt, why is it different? Did it contribute to how u feel at the lower gears? I think more could have been done to properly review this car, instead of just driving and bashing it based on 'feel'. Spot on about the looks, but was it because of aerodynamic consideration when they designed the car? 🤔 Hopefully the level of journalism could be better for your next video. Cheers.
Its not a biased review. I own a 2016 astra and the driver dashboard looks exactly the same as this 2020 one. The only thing they updated is the infotainment software. Its damn lazy if u ask me. Was hoping for better.
Seems like this guy has something personal against the Astra. Very nitpicky for absolutely no reason at all. This car is a facelifted version of the 2016 Astra K version. Please do your research before spouting nonsense. Disappointing!
I test drove the car today, and actually the Astra is awesome and ordered one after the drive. This CVT that is chain driven, is miles better than a previous generation CVT.
Did this reviewer know that Rob Wilson, who is the renowned coach for f1 drivers, uses the Astra to train champions? Go ahead and search Rob Wilson on youtube, or even search for reviews from Europe, none of them ever complained the Astra's handling and feel. Just look at Mat Watson's reviews. He actually loved the Astra's handling. hmmmmm.........
Okay, he says he would not buy this car but, he does point out a lot of good points about this car and, here in the UK price wise they are very reasonable and good value for the money.
after driving this car for 6months... i would say the review isnt fair enough for the astra. the power of the car comparing to its peers is thumbs up. i agree to the point that the internal design would have being better but the performance of the car is way under rated.
I think the styling of the Astra was great. I had the previous model and it was a great car. Another biased car review. In the uk this model of Astra was used to train F1 drivers because of its great balanced chassis.
I however own 1.4t Edition. Is a 4 cylinder and 110 kw and traditional auto. It has auto stop engine and is very smooth when kicks on. I belive it is much better than this one
Neither of that is happening. Quality of the PSA models has gone down and the prices are rising, so that PSA gets more money out of Opel. I wonder how long thats going to work...
Will you subscribe, consider to subscribe or won’t subscribe - definitely WON’T SUBSCRIBE! This review is all about your personal preference (rather prejudice) against the car or brand... I suppose the Seat Leon (which by the way your own website say has been discontinued in Oct 2020) looks better and that it’s analogue cluster is also more modern that Opel’s - come on! Surely you can be more objective. And recommending cars using VW gearbox renowned for its clunky lower gears, failures and mechatronic issues at only $6000 is really objective!
One of the best car in segment. This cvt for better than any other cvt. Driving quality top notch

Are there any problems such as piston breaking etc... which are chronic in the previous 1.4 T 150 HP vehicles?
Why does this guy's face always seem be in a state of constipation 😂
Where is James?
i dont know why you complain about every thing , in fact its not a S class or a super car , it comfortable hatchback car and also fun to drive
Why didnt mention the honda jazz hatchback? Singapore's favorite Japanese hatchback at $20k cheaper than this opel

$106k might as well get the new avante or m3
Okay, he says he would not buy this car but, he does point out a lot of good points about this car and, here in the UK price wise they are very reasonable and good value for the money.
Can do the new Hyundai avante review.? It looks great!
Pls do the elite one!
the piano black dash is a pain to deal with and its suspension is a little too stiff to be honest
Drove one in Europe. Decent enough as a run about car.
Honest and objective review. Quite a gutsy call to put it as a 'Won't Buy' 👍

Please do a review on their insignia
This is the first 'Won't Buy'?
Bad reviews for Opel...😥
Biased review.. watch this if u wanna compare Ford Focus, vw golf and Opel Astra ruclips.net/video/T4QAs1ggfFc/видео.html
Appreciate the objective review!

This is a car that could go more than 200 km/h on an autobahn, and it’s apparently deemed unreliable for Singapore road. Wow.
Don't like why waste time reviewing. You already have prejudice over this car. What good can come out from your mouth..
It's a lousy car
Hi pls do a review on lexus suv!
Good review, i liked it
Opel needs to either buck up their product or lower their prices for it to sell...
Neither of that is happening. Quality of the PSA models has gone down and the prices are rising, so that PSA gets more money out of Opel. I wonder how long thats going to work...
It could be back in Brazil, would be great consumer market for Opel
That eyebrow 😂😂
That said
Nice review
The only car that I think looks nice from Opel is Insignia. I would second Julian's comment to get a Seat leon or maybe even a Jazz=X
This car is built for speed
Opel is a very nice car to drive very solid but the pricing is really a turn off as the resale is not very good.
Yes
Yes terrible resale and expensive repair bills
Rubbish review. Sounds super biased.
Not rubbish.. It's just a lousy car. Opel cars aren't built to last. Plus way to expensive

and it goes all the way down...
my Mk6 Golf had a more interesting interior than this... and probably had more modern dials and trip computer
Wasted my 5 minutes
Bro u talk so much. Review… take bus Sua
So so biased n full of rubbish..
Silver is such a boring colour
Poor Opel
Ok don’t buy this car. Simple
PSA OPEL 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎.
Horrible review...
