Great video Steve, that 0.1 tide I managed to pump some massive lug worm from north shields beach, then had a great sesh at cullercoats/Whitley bay. Nowt big, but 4 species.
Good video as always Steve, nice to see the rig, new tackle and hear how you're finding the rod. Your winter Cod campaign will definitely put it to the test. Cheers Phil
Note to self. Virus / Cliffs never mix. Had to stay away from the light, made a will and everything. Still a good day mate. Well played on the fish. Great vid 👌
Hello mate, thanks for watching. Its hard to recommend a rod as it depends on what suits your needs mate, however, I can say with confidence that Limitless rods are built to last and they a very well made. There's a link to their website in the video description you can take a look at mate. 👍
@@grahampatterson5398 Thanks mate, much appreciated. I personally think it’s all about feel at the end of the day. What you are comfortable casting, handling, reeling, lifting etc. if casting distance is your thing then you need something you can get a nice bend in and maximum benefit rather than a poker stick. Also depends what ground you’re fishing as you’ll need a stiffer heavier rod for heavy ground for lifting out of and may need to compromise a little distance for a bit more poke.
Nice one Steve
