Almost all kids in the uk will drink before they’re 18, my parents used to buy me small bottles of vodka when I went to house parties when I was 16/17. It wasn’t often but the fact that they were relaxed about it meant I didn’t go crazy when I did drink (unlike my friend with extremely strict parents who ended up having her stomach pumped)😅

My honest opinion-
To be honest, I am poor. My family is poor, there is 6 of us living in a 2 bedroom house. Life is hard at the moment especially with the cost of living crisis but I just want to see your content. I don't care if you do a grwm or a morning routine or shopping for 24 hrs I literally couldn't care less. I just want to see your videos as you guys make me laugh. Please continue to make me laugh with your amazing content I love you guys!

Genuinely such an amazing family. The amount of trust and freedom you have with the girls is the best, they are going to grow up and actually trust you and tell you things instead of hiding and you finding out the bad things xx
i agree with everything you say! my mum lets us swear but not vape and i love how private grace is she reminds me of myself because i don't even tell my friends when I'm sick.. my mum says in aloud alcohol as well so i think this family is so Genuine and i love how honest you are x

I’m currently really struggling with my mental health in hospital and every week I click on and will watch your video regardless of what it involves as it’s YOU as people that make me happy and make me smile. Shopping videos for me are a way to virtually go out, see what’s in the shops and enjoy the 20-30 minutes of time I get to spend with you out of my week.

I absolutely love how okay you are with the LBGTQ+, as a gay 19 year old it makes me feel very safe watching your videos. I love that you were talking casually about how if any of the girls end up with girlfriends in a way that tells me it's not a big deal if any of them are! I just have to say thank you. You guys have to be one of the healthiest family channels there are, it's so refreshing to see

i understand why there is a contraversy with doing the spending challenges during a cost of living crisis, but i can genuinely say that i love those type of videos. Even though alot of people are struggling with the current crisis doesnt mean that everyone is in the same situation, they put all they're time and energy into us as subscribers to keep bringing out new content. WHY shouldnt they be producing content that you can clearly see makes them interact wth the family and that they clearly enjoy! I myself am stuggling with the crisis living on my own wth one income, but i still enjoy the spending/ money challenge videos, BUT i still love to watch them 😕❤
My respect for this family is just through the roof. I feel so safe listening to them and now I've been watching them since 2018, I just feel really like comfortable with everything they say and I love how they say they're opinions and are considerate about other people! But also just in general I just have loved seeing the girls grow up in the past 4 years especially Chloe, Sophie and now Maddison! We love you dvg and I hope you have an amazing halloween and christmas. I also hope 2022 has been the best for you!

personally, I love the shopping videos - the cost of living crisis does affect a LOT of us but, I love being able to live through you guys being able to do these shopping challenges.
I’d love to see more of the shopping challenges which are full challenges like the scrabble letters “if you can spell it you can have it” and whatnot!

My daughter isn’t a teenager yet but I agree with your choices especially in regards to drinking. My mum was like that and we had a very honest and upfront relationship we didn’t have to sneak around but I know a lot of my friends didn’t have the same so they did. Joel and Sarah your great parents and that is shown in how amazing your girls are!!

Totally agree with the drink situation I use to let mine have a little drink at Christmas etc and none of mine are big drinkers as they have grown up.
You guys are super lucky, you have the money to spend. You shouldn’t stop doing shopping challenges just because other people will feel jealous they dont have the same money. I understand the money crisis but I dont think it should make anyone annoyed that you are spending money you have, becuase you arent in that situation, so it’s not ‘wasting money’ as they DO use the things they buy.

My honest opinion- i love your video! my fav videos are any shopping challenges but the one in the bedroom and the hiding one in the shopping centres are amazing there my favs but i still enjoy watching last to leave but mostly the shopping ones
I'm assuming you guys don't want to do it because it's been a while since you mentioned and it hasn't happened, but I would love to hear Sophie's story if you're feeling up to it. She is such a sweet and strong little girl, I think her inspirational story would be of value to the audience.

I’ve been drinking since a young age (in uk) my parents started off with a low percentage drink (wkd) and then as I got older I got higher percentage drinks, I’m now 19 have never been badly drunk. I think the way they let their girls drink is amazing!!! Saves so many young girls loves
Yes.. it’s better to introduce your kids to alcohol in a safe environment so that when they turn 18 they’re not completely clueless about it and end up making lots of mistakes. 🙌🏻

Challenge idea in current crisis: (which would also promote that shopping second hand items is totally fine): Each household members would have to get a full outfit from £20-£25 (depends which area you live as some places cost more). Include the wee girl with glasses (I love her, but sorry don't remember her name), where she would obviously would go with one of you, but pick her outfit herself :)
