I was 15 when I just moved to the midwest and my friends took me to the Rave to see a band called "Local H". Knowing not what to expect, I was mind blown when Scott was walking on people like he was Crocodile Dundee, while I was holding him up by his sweaty ass Chucks during "Fuck Yeah, that Wide" , Years later I would be driving a van(with Scott in the back) to a Rockford gig at high speeds through pouring rain and blasting W.A.S.P. In 85 Metallica Opened for W.A.S.P. It only makes sense that there is a cosmic triangular reach around. Local H FTW!

Seriously? I'd imagine most of the folks in this video haven't heard much Local H. I was at the Lubbock, TX show and it was great. Every other show I've seen footage of sounded fantastic. After the show Scott was very cool to everyone that came. He was exceptionally nice to me and I'm very appreciative of that. Local H is better musically than Metallica anyway. Sure Metallica has more fans, sold more records but N*Sync sold a ton of records too, so what does that mean?
It should be Metallica opening up for Local H. I seen these guys in Pittsburgh last year and the opening band they had with them was okay, but when Local H brought out their special guest, Joe somebody or other, the place went apeshit when they played together. ;)
Cedric Campbell that was Joe Daniels. He was the original drummer in local h that's why everyone went apeshit! True fans! :). I saw them in Baltimore this past August and it was amazing they were so good!

They don't have to have an opening act as far as I'm concerned and don't need to open for anyone. Grab any unbiased person and take them to both a Local H gig and a Metallica gig and I guarantee they'll have more fun seeing Local H. Unless standing still and watching a band from 100+ft away in a stadium is your cup of tea.
I was at the Metallica show at the Cowboy Stadium in Dallas and I have to say: the acoustics in that place suck big time for live music (in the nosebleeds at least). Nothing but reverb and echo. We had our times wrong and missed you guys there. But just saw you guys at Clicks in Tyler, Texas with the Toadies and I can't wait to see you again. Better venue, better sound, and you guys owned that whole place. Problem with this young generation is they have no idea what to do at a rock show. They stand perfectly still (ok, they might bob their heads occasionally) as if they are watching youtube on their phones. I may be an old fart, but at a good rock show, I get into it! And you guys and Toadies put on one helluva great show!

I worked for Local H last year in fresno ca, at strummers venue. These guys are the most humble loving dudes ever. They played a really great show and Scott jumped off stage and hugged everyone that was there and walked to own merch booth and sold his stuff. These guys were traveling just them two in a van. Scott is a genius. Makes his own home made pedals and things rigged to play bass at the same time. If you see this please come back to Fresno Ca!!!
