The 2000 movie is a horrible film, the sinking made 0 zero sense snd wasnt realistic. I suggest you see the Britannic videos by Titanic Honor and Glory, they are way more accurate

And also it didn't sink like that. It took 55 minutes. and in the movie. It sank too fast. What he did right is Britannic didn't touched the seafloor when it sank. The ship is 269 meters in length and the ocean depth is 400 meters. 269 and 400, 400 is bigger.
The water that Britannic sunk in was less than half the length of the ship. Therefore, the bow would likely reached the surface before the stern was completed submerged
