I used to own a 1976 Buick skylark that looked just like that car my mom and dad bought it brand new. I wish I still had it today. Seeing that car brings back a lot of memories.

Sweet! I'm 53 years old. My first car just so happened to be a 1976 Chevy Nova two door. I got the car just after entering high school. My favorite class was auto shop! Anyone remember when high schools had auto shop? Anyway, that car was my school project. It went from a 250 straight six three on the tree to a 327 four on the floor. With a Camaro donated 8.5 3.73 posi rear axle. Ah yes! Fond memories. Love your ride. It's just too bad that body Nova never became more popular.

My '76 Nova was one of yhe best cars I had.
Two door, L6 250, bench seat, 3 on the floor.
Wish I still had it for a cruiser.

Great video on how it should work. People that know are helping people know.

Bought a 1978 nova in 1979! Two door coupe. Traded it for 1983 Camaro. 6 months ago bought a 1979 nova coupe that looks just like my first one, 24000 miles on it! Awesome cars!!!!!

It takes a guy to restore a car. It takes a real man to to cut one up and install aftermarket parts. That's why I buy from Summit Racing.

Hello my friend, I have purchased such a car. Do you advise me to buy it? I love this car, but I am afraid of breakdowns and difficulty in maintenance. Does this car break down often?

Hi I just finished watching vice gripe garage anyway he was working on 1979 Chevy and the engine was frozen up anyway he got water out of the Cylinders put some kind just treatment in all Cylinders and then marvel oil and PB BLASTER as well he got it for just a few seconds at a time. And then took valve covers off to inspect the rockers to see if they where moving and found serval not opening all the so he determined that the engine needed to be over hauled or replaced. So sent Ina suggestion to talk with the people at Summitt Racing and see if Summitt Racing could set him with a complete 383 stroker kit with camshaft and gaskets so he can over haul that 350 hope you can give him a killer deal thanks Ray in Idaho

You shouldn't need 93 octane with that engine, 91 or 89 should be fine.
