As someone who's read the manga, I think the Infinity Castle arc fits better into multiple movies than into seasonal format. The arc is too much content for a single season without cutting material, and it's probably not enough to stretch into two seasons, so the three movie format might be the perfect adaptation length if they do it right.
There's in extra page in the manga that is Sayo (the lil girl) of her pov that says this "According to Sara's account of the demon attack, That man," was a "monster" who killed everyone, but by that man," she meant the demon who snuck into the temple, not Hime jima. However, the demon had burned up in the morning sun, and Sayo couldn't speak properly due to shock from the incident, so she couldn't dispel the suspicion that fell on Himejima. Even now, at age 14, Sayo worries about that and wishes she could apologize."

This is pretty late. But I started watching cause of a short when I was scrolling. I enjoy your reactions cause you really liked Zenitsu in spite of some annoying tendencies. A lot of fans say how they can't stand him, but cheer for him in his badass moments. I think he's the most relatable character of the show since he deals with impostor syndrome. When he falls asleep is the only way his potential has shined through. When you see what happens in the movies you'll understand why he's so serious.
I feel like something is happening with Zenitsu, maybe finally some character development like we've been waiting for. This episode was simply full of some interesting developments, especially Muzan making his way to Kagaya's home (I am still shaking thinking about it all).
I thought the young girl was Makomo at first, that woulda been a nice twist. She tried to become a demon slayer to apologise to Giyome, but unfortunately died in the final selection
Three movies would be cool because the pacing may be tighter and we’d get to see magnificent animation and audio on the big screen. But I would be sad that seeing people’s reaction videos would be delayed till they were available in streaming format.
