Wow! Chess and 3D printing...two of my favourite things on my favourite RUclips channel! ❤ Thanks Toby for this upload I really enjoyed this video..and what a great result that scanner produced.. that black knight was flawless 😍
Very cool. That's certainly a dream comes true. Looking forward to more content on 3D scanning. Interesting topic to be honest. Good job Toby. The scan and print produced a very nice part.
Loved the video, I have messed with 3d scanners a while back but just didn't seem to be at a point where I hoped they be, but this looks very interesting. Thanks.
Can you make a vedio about to convert 3d scan data to Solid cad model by using Solidworks. Also, try to make a vedio about un proper scan data to 3d model with better accuracy rate of dimension tolerance.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing I have one question that maybe you might be able to answer I’ve been reading, but I can’t figure out what the difference between the mini 2, range 2, and the inspire ?? I want to scan camera parts & cameras, don’t know which one to purchase TIA
I tested the mini, with very detailed religious antique medals: I found that the result was not very accurate, with loss of detail. What would be the result with the mini 2, according to your tests?
probably the best thing to do is post images of your results on that facebook group, then ask for advice. I've learned so much from that group already! a great way to improve your techniques!

Now THAT looks like a cool product! How much of a discount does the discount code get me?
the discount code is for $100 USD on this #revopoint #mini 2 scanner :-)
Can you do a comparison video on on the Mini 2 vs Pop 3?
I only have the Mini 2 - so I cannot - but maybe check out the facebook group and ask around!
Cool video, Now it's the time to scan some mechanical part and try some reverse engineering.
Yes indeed!
Thank you for sharing.👍
awww yeah!
Is your discount code still good? RP is telling me it has expired.
Hey JD! Give it a try again and let me know if it works. :) Thanks!
@@TooTallToby is this only good for the mini. I might want to go the Miraco route.
You wouldn't use fill holes for that. You would merge 2 scans!
lol - watch the end :-)
Cool
Thanks!
