    I needed to hear this. I've been trying to find my way in my own RUclips journey. I've been studying on how to grow channels and found what your talking about to be absolutely true. Everything I've read and watched is pointing to the fact that creators should just record themselves being their self. People want someone they can hang out and vibe with, even if it is virtually or through videos. I have a couple of videos already shot that will be edited and published soon, but after that I'm just going to focus on my journey and being a RUclips friend to my audience. My current sub count is 672 and I'm posting that number as a marker. I've saved this video to my 'held accountable' playlist so I can look back on this one day to see my progress. Please and blessings.

    Oh wow, when I saw your content quality I thought you would have thousands of subscribers. I'm hoping you are right about the trend, because this is all I can offer for the moment on RUclips as a beginner... 🤣

      Haha thank you brotha! I really appreciate that! Look at that Shane Hummus guy on X. He goes into depth on all of this stuff, i don’t think there’s a better time to start right now, truthfully. Don’t quote me on this, I read somewhere how there’s over a billion people on this platform, and only a million are actually creators, that’s 1%… something absurd like that. Hope that helps.

    Well around 8 months ago I started making videos a lot more seriously and I've seen some success with it but my problem has always been that I cannot formulate my thoughts really good without having a script. I deviate from my scripts many times but if they're not there I would end up recording over and over again the same thing just because it doesn't sound right. I am sure many people are facing the same issue but we just gotta keep pushing and improve.
    This video got in my recommended so that means your channel is growing my dude!

    I manifested this video!
    I'm a content creator like you guys and I was wondering how I can grow my channel more.
    Back then it's kind of easy because you can re-create contents from the content creators who already gained a lot of views, subscribers and RUclips will put you in the algorithm together with popular videos.
    But now it's hard, RUclips changed their algorithm.
    Thank you for sharing this video brother, I'm here to support you on your journey.

    4:20 While those facts about Sam are true a lot of people fail to mention that it works for him because he is absolutely massive. If he wasn't i guarantee he wouldnt have 1/10th of the following he does. His size is his x factor which makes him not have to edit as much imo

    • @CaseVisuals
      @CaseVisuals  8 месяцев назад

      You’re absolutely right. I was wondering if anyone was gonna comment this. I meant to but spaced it; these creators need to lean into their “competitive edge” as much as possible to gain that “following”. The cool thing is though, most people have that X factor if they’ve put in the work to gain xyz skills or solve a problem at some point in their life.

    It’s not necessarily the simple editing making things blow up, it’s the content, the value, the story, the uniqueness, and right time and place. Just changing ones editing style doesn’t increase chances of blowing up, if the actual content one provides is crap or not interesting. Try doing a video editing software tutorial in the slo/no-editing style, it’s probably gonna bomb unless the person presenting or the stuff they are presenting is so unique it blows up - not because of editing style, but because of the contents of the content :)

    Really good video with nominal editing. A lot of good points that haven’t been mentioned elsewhere. I’ve been questioning my choice to start a channel especially with the amount of vulnerability I’m putting out there. Hopefully it does work out in the long term but as a small channel it’s hard to tell whether what you’re doing is the right thing or not.

    • @CaseVisuals
      @CaseVisuals  8 месяцев назад

      I totally get that, i mean if it makes a difference to you, i started my channel a month ago. My advice, be vulnerable. Be you. Show what you’re going through. Chances are, there’s a few people who resonate w your thoughts haha. Thank you for the comment, really appreciate the feedback!

    I think it is another great video and yes I‘m still around in case you remember me 😂. I have an idea for you, why don’t you make shorts out of your long form videos, teaser the main topics at the beginning and link the full length video in the comments or with the semi new feature. I think that would help your channel grow faster and you wouldn’t have to record again since you can use your already existing footage. When I started following you I had maybe just 100 subs but now I have much more thanks to shorts. I‘d like to see you grow faster so why don’t give it a shot? greetings, freddy 😉

    • @CaseVisuals
      @CaseVisuals  8 месяцев назад +1

      I appreciate your comment! I've had 2 prior youtube channels before this one, i've always had terrible luck with shorts. It works for a bit then significantly kills my reach and engagement with my long form stuff... I also think it builds more of a "short form" style audience as opposed to long form stuff, just my 2 cents. I really appreciate your support tho Freddy!

    I think this trend of being "authentic" will give people the false impression that they can just be themselves and find success.
    Yes some people will get views but most will not. This is the case no matter the trend.

    • @CaseVisuals
      @CaseVisuals  8 месяцев назад

      Totally get it, i see where you’re coming from,, it’s def a combination of giving “your” audience what they want to see (given market research) and being your full authentic self, yeah sure, from a general standpoint most people won’t find success in that approach, but i think that if you study your “avatar” or market it comes down to either educating or solving other peoples pain points for whatever niche they’re talking about and being you.
