I was thinking the same thing when they announced the pregnancy.. I’m like but where’s your marriage papers girl 🧐🧐.
I got married at 23. I was with him since I was 15. I kept inquiring about marriage and it seemed he kept making excuses. It sort of sounded like what Quan is doing. Long story short, our marriage didn’t last long. We only spent 1 1/2 years together as a married couple, the rest of it we ended up being separated (it has been 4 years), we are now going through a divorce. I don’t believe he ever really wanted marriage. He wanted his cake and to eat it too. I gave him all of me before we got married so he didn’t take marriage serious. I will never allow myself to go through that again. I know you love each other but please don’t settle and allow yourself to be hurt. I believe Quan is a good man. Because of what I’ve been through I definitely understand not rushing into marriage but it just doesn’t make sense to me that a man who is so ready to have a child (which is a big commitment) and says he wants to be with you for life, isn’t ready for marriage. My prayers are going up for you both.

I actually enjoy the way you answer questions, honestly you guys are different and I like the fact that’s you always put gods first in anything. The world we live in now moves at a different pace from what our Grandparents had. I remember dating a guy and I was doing everything he wanted me to do in that relationship but it still wasn’t enough and his own Momma told me “ why buy the cow when you can have the milk for free” I never forgot what she said even though at that time she was being mean to me; it was a lesson to be learned that as long as you giving someone will always take. I know this Man loves her but I cringed through that part because I know she would Marry him tomorrow if he asked her.

After giving birth and seeing how drastic my life and body has changed for me to not even be with my childs father anymore. I could never carry another mans child unless i'm his wife first. To sacrifice so much of yourself for a man that wont even commit to life with you. Worst mistake i've ever made.

If you atleast get married you know the person is in it for the long haul. So many men will stay with a woman as her bf and have no real intentions on being with her forever so they avoid marriage at all cost. Which is why Quan getting upset even talking about marriage is WEIRD. They've been together for years and she's carrying his child. She's about to risk her life going into labor for his kid. These were some tough questions guys. I love your level of maturity and how you answer them, intelligently and politely. Yes guys you just take your time and do what y'all doing, marriage will come in the right time, and yaa I agree with you about building your home from scratch. Its really hard, time consuming and especially when you want it in a special and unique way. It can be very difficult to have all the puzzles pieces together. If she said she didn’t wanna have a baby till she gets married, didn’t wanna live together, did not want to be intimate I bet this guy would have proposed ages ago and marry her real quick. By now they would have been husband and wife. He sees her as a wife but he does not want to claim her and make it official. It’s so awesome that y’all are waiting for being married. I had my daughter in July 2018 and our parents pushed us to get married so we did in September. We were so not ready. We actually got divorced in 2019 and are now back together and remarried. Lol. We just weren’t ready and we let the pressure get to us.
