Q’s grade is about the future of the Sky, 2-3 years from now, we will be good because we saved these picks instead of trading them to get free agents for a one year rental. That is why Q says that the Sky won free agency. The people who disagree with Q are grading how the team will do this year. Nobody is wrong, everyone is talking about two different outcomes. Put it this way, grades for now compared to future. 2025-D, 2026-C, 2027-B, 2028-2030-Three straight championships. That is the point Q is making, Go Sky!
Well they actually have not won either. All yet to be determined. Also, did not the Sky just get two free agents for One Year Rentals also. Neither of which is likely to help the development of either the Twin Towers nor any drafted players. So not so sure of some folks grading up to this point.
@BEARBULLCUBSKY the problem with this theory is, teams that built their dynasty purely by the draft usually got to draft at least one if not 2 consensus overall picks with all time players. Aces currently, decade ago Mercury and Storm, Sparks and Lynx before that. And it's a tough gamble to expect consensus elite level picks when you have 3 expansion teams coming in over that time frame. We can all but ink Juju in as a Valkerie. And isn't this kinda crapping on Kamilla and Angel? Why is it go time for the Fever and the Sky are talking about 2028? 😂
@ Indiana had three All-Stars, and all these high draft picks. Caitlin Clark #1, Aliyah Boston #1, Kelsey Mitchell #2, NaLyssa Smith #2, and Lexie Hull #6. Indiana’s stacked team should have won the Championship this year, they had more high draft picks than the Las Vegas Aces, who had won two Championships after they made their #1 draft picks. Chicago only had Kamilla #3 and Angel #7, it was ok for Indiana and Las Vegas to do it, but you don’t think the Sky should do it, sounds like Angel Reese hate to me.
@@kevintheprf6132 plus Indiana added Natasha Howard (5th pick), Dewanna Bonner (5th pick), Tiffany Mitchell (9th pick) (Sophie Cunningham 13th pick), stop crying!
@@SportsTymeStories-h8xthey didn’t trade their two picks for one year rentals is the important part that you left out for some reason.
Cardoso will become the star of the team this year.... She's gonna to become dominant just like she was in college
Amém!
I believe that deep in my soul. This woman can do amazing things
@@DWG-m9n lol was she dominant in college? She never even started until her last season and she never set or broke any records, she doesn't hustle like Angel Reese, she prefers to just catch and shoot so it's expected she'll be more efficient but apart from that, she and Angel on that team Angel will always shine because she's willing to do the dirty work nobody else is willing to do
Kamilla is the best, Angel is Kamilla daughter
@Qu3stOfD3stiny They are on the same team . I wish both of them the best. Reese always had better stats then big K. Numbers don't lie..
They avoided doing something stupid, which is a win in itself. Also the Tyler Marsh signing was a win, I like him a bit more than Spoon but we'll see how that turns out.
Kamilla is going crazy right now in China and Angel is improving her game and getting to work with experienced players in Unrivaled. I think those two are gonna terrorize the league this year, especially with Sloot actually passing them the ball.
@mellod5615 yes I believe we will see some amazing things from those two
Angel is improving her game? Have you seen her get exposed in Unrivaled? She's already crying about wanting to get this joke of a league to finish.
@benfen5188 she's shooting 64% so yes, she has improved significantly and being tired of the way the refs are operating doesn't say anything, let me ask you the haters a question, you have been trolling this girl since after the national championship in 2023, ESPN reported that only Angel received over 40k violent hate messages in last year March madness, have your hate stopped people from associating with her? Everything you've wished her has never come to reality from she'll be coming off the bench in Chicago to she'll never make an impact on her team to she'll be forgotten once she's in the wmba which you haters have now shifted it to "she'll be forgotten in two years 😄, non of your bad intentions have come to reality infact, brands are choosing her despite the "she's not marketable" brands are telling you they stand against bullies and bullying which is what you the CC clans have been doing, when are you giving it up?
@@comfortsheriff1352 They'll never give it up bc they hate Angel more than they like CC. Just sad.
@mellod5615 Bottom line is her priority is being a celebrity off the court. No one has had the balls to tell her she needs to improve her game instead people just feed her ego throughout her career. Now she boo hoos and plays the victim. Grow up, shut up and just play.
They think you’re trolling because last couple of shows they see you as a Fever only Fan, that’s why they jumped on
I love & respect Reese , basketball and I love the Chicago Sky
Idk why they think Fever has been an elite team
They got consecutive #1 picks for
a reason ‼️
Yeah. And look how that turned out. At the beginning of the 2024 season, it looked like they were well on the way to a third lottery pick in a row.
Quita said "Am I trolling now?" 😂😂😂
I think Chicago needs the picks and it wouldve been counter-productive to trade #3 when the team is in rebuilding mode. The additions particularly Sloot are band-aids not long term fixes. Will the new acquistions make the team better? Marginally. its looking like a 8th seed team at best, if not another lottery year. Golden State and Connecticut will definately be worse so they wont be last.
If an offer was made to Dana Evans and she still does not sign. Deep down she knows this is not the team for her.
YOU ARE SPOT ON!!!!! GREAT JOB
You're not trolling. They just hate Angel. LOL. Smh. The trolls make it seem she's the worst player in the league. You can't take them seriously. They're low key obsessed with Angel 💯
Lol. At least theyre not delusional or blind not to see. People have different coping mechanism. I get it. You dont have to explain.

@ricorogers9319 - Of course the racial element is there, which is sad and pathetic
There weren’t any moves that could have made the Sky contenders in/for the next 3+ years. Better to let the young ballers grow and make a few good draft picks. And more stars will be available to pick up when the team is ready
Not true.
Exactly, it's literally that simple. You're not even attracting any big names anyway until the new facility is done. Just be patient and stick to the plan
This was a classic case of "1 step back to take 2 steps forward". Their wasn't a move to put them into the contender tier anyways so let the young bigs go through their growing pains and hopefully they can get a good guard in the draft to develop alongside them.
Chicago has only one player with over 30 minutes per game in Reese. However their bench players are very strong and this may be the year starters are made. Draft picks are important but I still see a lot of moves coming. Still have Chicago as a bottom three but a new coach and a more sane team may improve the team beyond the numbers.
That's insane, the Sky if healthy easily make the playoffs.
I think your spot on Quita
Why do you even have to explain? Keeping draft picks is something I wish Fever had done, but I can see that had to happen to get what they got. 2026 will likely be even more interesting.
Fever want to win now...not develop the team for down the road...wasting Caitlin, KM and AB. All Free Agent Contracts are 1 year because of CBA. 2026 will be quite interesting to say.
@quintyss1290 the only player I really wanted for the Fever to draft with their first rounder was Citron as a backside 3 option. Who probably is long gone by that pick. Cunningham is the same player as already a proven commodity. I'm fine with what they did.
Why do I keep getting this impression that so many people don't think the Sky will easily make the Playoffs this year barring injury. Because they Should Easily make the playoff this season.
Let Cardoso play more both her and Angel need to get better, but futue looks bright!

Yes Chicago is a winner, now we just need to get Te-hina Paopao with the third pick of the draft and we will be deadly. Paopao had the best three-point shooting performance in the last 2 years.
Paopao & Kamilla ❤
Kamilla Cardoso And Angel Reese About to Ball Out in Chicago this year Go Sky
The take i disagree with is "incrementally better". This roster a year ago had Mabrey and Carter, and there's nothing on this roster now, and nothing in the draft not named Paige to replace that production. Two player steps back, and 2 tiny draft stock steps forward does not equal better, incrementally or otherwise.
Miles is a good pick up if they can get her. And it is great they got the sun 2026 pick. But i agree this team is gonna be bottom 5 this season. I have no idea why evans is still on the team. To me she brings nothing to the table. It feel like we have a bunch of empty calorie players. And side note letting carter go just nuts.
@@candysmith1186 I don't think they're drafting Miles. 1. I predict she's gone to the Sparks. 2. Even if she's there, isn't drafting her kinda make the best pickup of free agency, Vandersloot, kinda moot?
That's just coping mechanism 😂
@@kevintheprf6132 sparks gave that pick away to get plum. I think storm has 2 pick now.
@ The Sparks don't have the #2 pick anymore, you need to keep up with whats been going on.
I agree with your take. I’m glad the Sky didn’t try for the quick fix and give up draft assets. It made sense for the Fever since they have a legit shot at a title if things go their way. The Sky just aren’t there yet.
I’m curious to see how much the front office thinks of Olivia Miles as a prospect.
Hypothetically would you swap the 3rd pick and the rights to Connecticut’s swap to move to #2 to grab Olivia??
No, I would not give up my Conn's swap pick in 2026 for Olivia. I can get a lottery player in the 2025 draft and a lottery player in the 2026 draft. One Olivia does not equal two good lottery player on my roster sheet.
I think you played the cards you were dealt. You navigated free agency without losing anything. I wouldn’t necessarily call that a win, but it’s not a loss, either.
You aren’t contenders in 2025. Facts. It will be a rebuild year for you, which isn’t a bad thing. Between 2025 draft and 2026 your draft picks can build a great team without Chen. I like what you did…you played the cards you were dealt.
Will Angel be OK with having to wait a couple years to win or being in the championship game? Thanks Quita for the foresight, spot on!
Linda think before you talk. Sorry to let you no, Angel Resse no how a championship feel. She won a championship game. 😅
@@maryconner4394 Sorry to let you know, she doesn't know, what winning a championship as a pro is like. In 2026, we can end up getting Hannah Or ju ju Fingers crossed 🤞🏾
I completely agree. Angel and Kamilla still need time to develop their game this year. They would be sabotaging their future if they were making major moves.
Sky should make the playoffs this year and you hope this year is an audition for the 2026 Free Agent class. Who do you think they should take in the draft this year? I see Sky fans upset about Citron being a possibility. If the Sky could get Citron at 3 and Azzi at 10- I think that would be amazing for the Sky. They need defenders and shooters to surround Angel and Kamilla.
On paper the Sky is a winner. But in reality time will tell. There is no guarantee that a draft pick will translate to the W. What happens if the draft picks don't pan out? Will your franchise players (Angel & Kamilla) stay after 3 years? Free agent players, Sloot and Nurse are actually W bench players. If Angel and Kamilla improve as rookies, their draftees are young. Real winning, if things materialize well, you are looking at 3-5 years. I don't think Angel and Kamilla stay in Chicago.
Why wouldn’t they stay? Chicago is getting a new facility and that will attract free agents with Marsh as Reese and Milla improve. Unless they implode, they are prime real estate next season.
@ As Angel said “her and Kamilla aren’t used to losing. Second, Sky management maybe the worst in the WNBA along with the Sparks. Finally, teams like the Fever are building a new facility worth $74 million which they completely own and will not mutually share like the Sky. In addition teams that don’t build a new facility in the near future will not survive. The Valkaries an expansion team is coming into the league with a new facility with amenities for the 2025 Season- just the tip of the iceberg. In my opinion, with long-term rebuilding and with the inability to win a championship. Angel and Kamillia are gone!
Angel at 3? No way
please do a new roster video to show us who is where now :) Thanks!
That would be interesting. That’s the Janiah Barker draft. Lauren Betts , Kiki Rice & Flauje’ as well
If im chicago im going best small forward or scoring sg, and with the 10th im going Raven Johnson a true point guard who plays great with yall bigs, that pick may be high for her but shooting is the only reason that shes not on pace for a high selection.

Bec Allen very injury prone . Vandersloot too old for rebuilding team
They are just stop gaps and immense upgrades vs what they were trotting out there last year. Shout out Kia nurse too
Your assessment on 2026 is still way premature. If Emma Messaman joins her coach here, then Sky won’t benefit from the trade swap. Let’s see how FA plays out. I never think you are trolling.
These are the facts; the Sky is not making anything happened in 2026 and depending on how that season goes, if Cardoso is not given the minutes she deserves and instead the season becomes another “stat padding/bs record” season for a less talented player, Cardoso is going to want out. Take this to the bank.
You didn’t watch the Sky. Milla NEVER had limited minutes. She was injured and then stayed in foul trouble. How can Reese stat pad and be trash at the same time? That doesn’t even make sense. Probably never touched a basketball in your life. 🤣😂 Reese encourages Milla to be more aggressive. She wants that dawg to come out in her and has been very vocal about it.
@ , stat pad and be trash definition = stat pad - staying in, during already decided games/begging for the ball in the last few seconds, playing against the opponent’s bench. Trash definition - You have one of the worst field goal percentages within 5 feet in the league for the position you play. There you have it, stat pad and being trash; any other question?
@@franciscoarroyo9402she stayed in because no one else played consistently. Literally no one. It’s not her to understand. Izzy was not consistent(prob bc of injury). Sucks because she is talented. She and Bri fouled a bunch. They literally had no one else to sub in for Angel. Izzy played 5 when Kam was in foul trouble.
Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso do not play the same position. Their minutes are not dependent on one another. Why don’t you know this.
@ , I will slow it down, as you appears to be lost in translation. Never said that Cardoso was not given the minutes she deserves because they play the same position, the facts were, she was not given the minutes she needed to get and the bad vibe in the bench was due to the favoritism shown to a rookie of lesser statute, period. If they play same or different positions is completely irrelevant, do you know this??

No, we are the best in the trade, Quita! Either is or Dallas, but we are up there... We might have a chance to get Juju or one of the other amazing college superstars... YES!!!
SPOT ON QUITA
Debunking your take. Pick swap will not be lottery because the pick would be a cumulative record from the previous 2 yes soooo 2024 record was very good so unless Sun goes winless in 2025 the pick will not be a lottery pick. Chicago should try to kill it in this year's draft
I don’t think you understand how the draft works… the 4 teams that don’t make the playoffs are in the lottery their cumulative record for the past 2 years determines the likely hood of them getting the number 1 pick. So the Sky are guaranteed a top 4 pick if the Sun don’t make the playoffs, and even with the odds there’s still a chance that pick can turn into a #1 pick but we will see what the future holds
QUITA YOU ROCK AS USUAL
Question about 2026 draft, because im not sure of the rules on this. Don't you have to be bad for 2 years to increase lottery odds? So say the Sun crash out and are the worst team in the WNBA, don't they have the lowest odds to win the lottery, and inked at 4th if they don't since they were good last season? I read about it, still kinda dont get it. 😂
You’re correct. The bottom 4 teams get ordered by their cumulative record from past 2 seasons.
HEY QUITA HAPPY TUESDAY
Picks are potential and not proven players! Proven players will get your wins now and not years later. I think the Sky future is Citroen at SG, and Allen at SF. Then possibly Notre Dame's Miles as your future point guard!
Noooo Citroen!!!!😂
That's why the Sparks traded their second pick for Plum - they wanted a PROVEN talent, instead of potential.
Its Vanloop, Michaela, Rebecca, Angel and Kamilla. Citron and the PG we draft at 10 will be coming off the bench while still developing under our veteran point guard in Vanloop and Citron is learning from the shooting guard in Rebecca Allen, Rachell B, and Kia Nurse. Simple
Who want Lexie brown back she shouldn’t even be in the league
I heard Quita say "we." Is she a Skyy fan or from Illinois?
She lives in Chicago and born and raised there she's always been a fan since I've watched her last year
Chicago is years away from being a contender.
2-3 years away, which again is why growing thru the draft is a good idea
Please post the people that are staying you had the add, lose or resign post up to long sis 💪🏽
I can understand your position: Chicago is a winner because they didn't trade away their draft picks. But I respectfully disagree.
The Chicago Sky entered the free agency with those draft picks. Not making a mistake isn't "winning" for me. It's just being a competent GM. The pieces they added are band aids and they won't be on the team when the Sky becomes competitive again. Therefore, they didn't add talent in FA. So I don't think one can say they "won".
And I know you said you are discounting Chennedy Carter because the team decided to not offer her a contract. But she was the best player on last year's roster and she's still on her prime. Losing Chennedy for nothing means that the Sky lost on talent. The draft will bring more players, but if only evaluating FA, the Sky lost on talent (Chennedy) and didn't add any piece or additional draft pick that would help them in building a contender in 2-3 years.
They let Chennedy go because evidently she had no trade value. As you can see, no team is rushing to sign her. She has no value due to her behavior.
Mock Draft Video??
ANEESAH MURROW MUST BE THE PICK at #3… SHE CAN PLAY 3 and will dominate the boards… WE NEED TO RESIGN CHENNEDY CARTER

@@scoman1959 I see both of your phrases as basically the same thing. But I do get your point and I’ll try to be less confusing in the future
@ Just a simple misunderstanding ,its all good. I understand you are very knowledgeable on the W.
You are for sure glass half full. I think it was right but painful to not resign your top scorer. I think being so inactive in free agency and prioritizing being so conservative is showing a lack of confidence in Angel, rightfully so. You have a good center prospect in Camilla but Angel isn't a good option to build around. Chicago no longer believes the hype and that is a smart win.
I do not believe the Sky had a winning off-season, bit sometimes being conservative is the best option.
For me the FEVER did great in getting Howard, Bonner, Cunningham, and getting rid of Smith.
But dropping Saxton and especially BERGER was ridiculous. Fever had an incompetent coach last year. Fever should have waited to SEE how they performed during the season under a new coach, IMO. Even NaLyssa, I would have liked to see how she performed under Stephanie White - but getting a defensive threat like Bonner made it worthwhile.
So you are suggesting that Indiana actually lost the free agency because they did swing for the fences? I don't disagree that Chicago did well not to trade their assets, but it seems that you said that trading assets and swinging for the fences is bad, and that's what Indiana did do. Which is it?
Not everything revolves around Indiana. She's a Chicago fan and speaking on her team.
This video has NOTHING to do with Indiana. Of course Indiana won free agency, because they are in win now mode and they got pieces to do that. Chicago is in rebuild mode so they needed to keep draft assets and get vets who can help teach the young players, they achieved that.
Several teams won in free agency based on what teams individually needed. The Fever has been in rebuild mode for over 5 years, the sky just hit rebuild mode so they are at different levels and we should view them and judge their moves accordingly
@mellod5615 I am just trying to sqare the circle she just laid out. Because Indiana is not the only team that "went for it", so my query is not just about them. She said that going for it was bad. But, and I used Indiana because more than anyone, the went all in, willing to trade assets, like their 8th pick, which she said was a bad thing for Chicago to do. Which is it?
She’s not talking about Fever at all! They have nothing to do with this segment.
As she said above, there are multiple winners and losers. Fever and Sky are both winners, but they’re in wildly different stages of rebuild. Fever won the draft in the sense that they finally got their core together and now they’re striking whilst the irons hot to get vets to help them win a chip.
Sky are also winners because they have their core 2 and have now made the right ‘moves’ to be competitive in 2026.
@QuitaLovesSports Alright, thanks. That's all I wanted. You have them in separate categories of where their respective teams are. Also, my question wasn't just about Indiana, they were just the most active. There were also a couple of other teams taking an activist role, but they, like Indiana, and correct me if I am not understanding your thrust right, are outside the rebuilding mode and just a piece or two from competing for a title, so they can afford to "go for broke" as it were. I am speaking of Phoenix, and Las Vegas, and Seattle here. Those 3, along with Indiana, are likely fighting each other for placement in positions 3-6. Is that an accurate assessment of the situation, as you see it? Despite my personal choice of favorite team, I am capable of seeing beyond that bias, and I have noticed a like capacity in your reporting. That's why I asked for clarification. Thank you clearing that up for me. Now, tentatively, I have Washington, Connecticut, Atlanta, and Dallas as my bottom 4, with your Sky being in the tier right above that, but that tentatively is dependent on the draft itself. Your team, if they win the draft, could move into the playoff discussion, or if they come up short drop back to the bottom tier. So what you're saying is that how you handle the draft this year and next year will be critical to the success and position of the franchise. Have I got that right? You are wanting your team to do what Indiana did starting a few years ago and bit by bit claw out of that bottom tier to be competitive again? I remember when Chicago was a relevant team in the league. It wasn't that long ago. You had a similar experience to what we had with management so screwing up the roster with toxic contracts that it looked like we could never get out from under. Best wishes to you and the rest of the Sky family from a Fever fan who has been where you are now.
Question: If u can buy the best players in next years free agency wouldn't u get a better players than saving draft picks?
Keep coping lmao
Trade Reese to Dallas for Bueckers for the first round pick and give them the 2026 pick Then you have the first pick and third. Bueckers will play is Chicago, why wait.
The future may look good, but this team will probably struggle to score 70 points this year.

@sasspot3 She’s the WNBA version of Dennis Rodman 🤷🏾♂️ Last I checked he has 5 championship rings. No hate just facts. She’s a rebound machine now all she has to do is up her defense, 15/15 a night and she’ll dominate
@@Trebor1960Angel Reese is beyond 15/15, that's what makes her better
You like Sky
Great, good for you
Most people don't like the Sky for good reason
Maybe as a content creator it's on you to grow up and act adult not them
If CC gets the flu, no one will go to the game to watch Indiana
@soseiqueestouaqui435
The reason I don't like Sky is because they put activism before Basketball
Their star player is a IG model and a very average baller
I do respect their moves this off season and I hope it's a sign of a better team, obviously I don't want to dislike them or anyone
But sky needs to do more to earn my respect back...
And the ideology the team put before the league, I am very against that ideology
See? What this lady refuses to accept is...
Some teams prefer activism over the sport, and those are the teams I don't like
Sky are one of the worst for doing that.
But if they change then yes respect will be earned
I Agree With U Quita 🤩, Bcuz The Sky’s Future Is 1 Of The Brightest In The WNBA FUTURE & A CHAMPIONSHIP Is In Their 🏀 FUTURE 🤩🤩🤩!!
