The one thing I’m proud of and worked really hard for my car. I own it, it’s paid off. I have to drive an hour back and forth on rural roads and drive up muddy driveways every day. My own family just causally says “your car is dirty” both my mom and grandma have said it at family gatherings even if if I wash my car before I still have to drive 2 hours through bugs or dirty snow to get there and my own family never says anything nice to me except “your car is dirty”. I get so full of shame and anger when they say crushes me and hurts my feelings so much and I just want to scream and cry at them.
Oh my, I am so so sorry to hear that..Just remember even after driving through dirt and mud: Your car is cleaner than their hearts!! Do not let them make you feel sad or bad, enjoy your car, play your favorite music and next time they want you to visit, say you are busy ;)
