@@busterofcoviddeniers What are the downsides? I think everything ends up having downsides ultimately but hopefully they're not as bad as the utility of them.
@@busterofcoviddeniers I feel like if it's connected to wind or solar there's less likely of a need for carbon waste, but I'm also not a scientist just a random person on RUclips lol thanks for your response though
@@iii___iii I think he is redirecting and talking about the loads of wash in terms of water use, not energy use. Typical 40' container farms use 160-300kWh per day, which is a very large amount, particularly if you live in California where power starts at $0.25/kWh and goes up from there.
The problem with hydroponics farming is the food pyramid....the food that keeps us going are rice, beans, corn, potatoes, and bread...the good is the technology is here and is at work
Americans prefer McDonalds, Taco Bell, & Starbucks within half mile radius over freshly grown leafy greens.
😅🤣😂
This is an incredible business. Thumbs up x 1000
3-5 gallons of water a day is impressive! I hope this takes off more in the US and individuals are able to adapt this into their lives styles.

Do they plant wheat in there.
Note they don’t mention how much electricity the unit consumes in the course on one crop
@@iii___iii oh yeah. They stated how many kWhrs? Provide the time stamp when that was specifically stated
They lie anyway
They offer to add solar panels to the containers.

The big wigs:
This makes no scence keep paying for low quality and the high prices in the grocery stores
Wonder how they keep bugs from eating the vegtables
It’s inside. They keep them out.

Question about the mushroom container farm, where it gets the mulch and nutrients to grow the mushrooms? Does mulch require to be transported in
Wow!

Takes all of the fun out of being outside.
👍I love this!❤

@@iii___iii idk, we get a lot of our VD from the sun, in the foods we eat. Our bodies absorb it the best from food.

Elon Musks brother LITERALLY came up with this first. My fav African Americans!
No he didn't.
People are unable to afford gas.jb Sold out USA farmland 100 million acres along with 5 million barrel of oil reserves
Vegies, I want to see some cattle, hogs and chicken grown in there! Seriously, we don't live on grass, well, not literally.

This is old news. They've been doing this in Europe for a decade in terms of resale from these 'farms'
