I’m a plain Jane cookie person. I prefer simple butter cookies like a sable or shortbread. Usually something good with coffee! I do like some traditional Christmas cookies like Russian tea cakes and jam thumbprints. Not a big fan of iced cookies - too sweet.
I've only tried Crumble cookies one time. I thought they were beautiful but lacked the flavor I had hoped for. I do not feel they are worth the cost, they should taste great too.
Wouldn’t spend a dime at that place. What I would give to have a Mrs. Fields cookie shop back in Minnesota. 😂 This was my favorite place to go too in the mall as a child in the 80s.
What did you guys mean by under-baked? Did it taste raw? Or do you guys not like soft cookies? I don't like well done cookies. I prefer a cookie to be mostly soft in the middle. Thanks for doing this review, I'm never going to this overhyped cookie store.
My favorite cookie is Raspberry Cheesecake cookie. I wonder if they have. The cookies look delicious and nice to get a cookie cutter. Looks like a bear on the sugar cookie. I would love to visit Crumbl cookies. Nice video Derek and Catherine. See you next time. ❤👍
I would rather make my own or go grab some from Publix’s. The cookies from the specialty cookie stores just look nasty and overpriced and extremely sweet.
Hi Derek and Catherine, We have several Crumbl Cookies in San Diego, CA. My sister loves to go every week and get the new cookies...great marketing strategy and people feed into it every week. Yes, some of their cookies are meant to be under baked for the softness. Not something I like. I like a soft cookie but because these are so big it does make you think it is under done. As far as their OG chocolate chip cookie, it is very disappointing because of the milk chocolate chips verses semi-sweet chocolate chips which I perfer. I grew up with Nestle Toll House cookies which uses semi-sweet chips and have a richer flavor. Crumbl did a semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie a few months ago and so many RUclipsr's, who review the cookies every week went on and on about how much better it was than the OG. I thought Crumbl would have been listening and would make a change but nope. Anyway, agreed with your review. Love your channel!
Have y’all watched The report of the week? He’s so fun to watch reviewing things. Lol He’s a unique twist of food reviews. Just for fun if you’ve not seen him
They so gross. Waaayyy too sweet. Your teeth hurt. Definitely over priced. I wouldn’t pay 10 cents for one. If you like extremely sweet things then these are for you.
Not a fan of these at all. I don’t understand what the fuss is all about but i get the excitement for folks if it’s something from “home” because heck, I eat Vegemite.
My wife and I love watching your videos together. We strongly disagree on this one. The cookies are supposed to be soft baked. And do you really think a sugar cookie with frosting would not be sweet? C’mon.. Hence the reason you cut them in four and just have a small piece at a time. I never make comments but it’s sad to see all the reviews of people saying they won’t go there based on this review. The cookies are pricey but fun to try different flavors and not a bad treat here and there. Just our 2 cents, thanks
The website describes that pink cookie as follows: Classic Pink Sugar An all-time favorite-a vanilla sugar cookie topped with a perfect pink swoop of real almond frosting. (Now containing real almond extract)
Hello from Oregon, we love these cookies, however it is a hit and miss at times. During the holidays they have different flavors too. I only like the chocolate chip ones myself. Thank you for the review new sub!
From your descriptions, it seems like the cookies are Mexican cookies with little sugar, topped with over sweet frostings! I love the cookie cutter though! You guys should try _The Cookie Plug_ they just opened one in Vegas and there are several in California! They serve big hockey puck shaped cookies.
I got 6 from my local crumbl in Atlanta. It was kind of a pricey splurge--but I tell you what, we cut into them and eat them a bit at a time, and we liked all the ones we got. We don't eat one or two at a sitting, we use this low-tech 'dull kitchen knife' thing to cut them up...
Crumbl seems to be popping up everywhere in San Diego over the last year. I’ve been mostly buying 2/week since late summer. I’ve avoided the sugar cookies. This past week I had the chocolate cake and the butter cookies. I liked them both. I tend to eat a bite or two over the course of the week. But lately I haven’t been finishing them. My favorites are the chocolate chip, any peanut butter ones, and French Silk. TBH I think that cookie cutter is a waste of money. I’d just use a regular knife, even a butter knife. But if you like your cookies in perfect quarters then yeah. I couldn’t be bothered. This week I’m trying a new cookie place that is starting to gain a little traction in Southern California - Cookie Plug. The only thing about their cookies is they’re best warmed up. When they box them they’re not warm but they do offer to warm them. Since they had a special I got 8 for $22 I opted to warm the ones I’m going to eat at home. The rest I put in the freezer after I quartered them. Good for a month. I haven’t made up my mind about whether I like them enough to go back.
🐞Hopefully this fad will go the same way as the cupcake faze., I think the best is Mrs Fields, but I don’t know if she still has shops. I like the cookie cutter too. Thanks! 🐞
The pink sugar cookie has almond extract. Is that what you detected? Also, the green cookie is themed after the Eagles in the Super Bowl and is supposed to be a cookies n cream cookie. Other locations will have the red cookie for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl which is a golden cookies n cream cookie.
I read that the Classic Pink Sugar Cookie was discontinued in most areas because it wasn't popular. Its made with sweet almond flavoring for the top. They are known for "soft" and that undercooked cake-y texture so if you don't like that , don't go to Crumbl. I had a few good ones there, but only tried it once here in Arizona. Thanks for the video!
they are expensive, but each cookie is really dense. They're best eaten just a bit at a time, not 'whole cookie at once'. So when it was said and done, I didn't find the price way too outrageous. We got more normal flavors than those shown in the vid. Our's had an oreo flavor that was a yummy chocolate cookie with cream-cheese frosting on top, and it was awesome. The cream-cheese really made it even better than the standard, sweeter oreo filling, where the sweetness could have been overbearing.
They all look like fails😂😂 If you want a sugary treat, you could go to Krispy Kreme and get a dozen assorted donuts for 10 dollars with similar themes as your cookies, and it would actually be good! 😂 A dozen delicious donuts for 10 dollars vs 6 below average tasting cookies for 17 dollars .Which would be a better choice?😂😂
Sorry you had a bad experience with crumble but at the same time I’m glad because I live in the Virgin Islands and we don’t have one so I’m glad I’m not missing out on anything. Happy I can live vicariously through you. Lol I heard Gideon’s is much better in Disney springs, Maybe one day you’ll venture east. L O L
I'm not sure what they mean by underdone. To me, Lofthouse cookies are "underdone".. meaning no real color on the bottom, soft all the way through. Many people feel the ideal texture in cookies is crispy edges with chewy interior.... although I know some like them crispy all the way through.
I do not like crumbl cookie…I watch you all’s video all the time and I could tell you didn’t like them either… They have really cool flavors and ideas and they like so cute and yummy. But they never taste like they look…. I really don’t get the hype.
Not sure that cookie cutter is worth buying for $5 when knives exist in most people's kitchens. Most of their cookies are mid at best with a few rare exceptions.
My favorite cookie is a Keebler pecan Sandie in the 70s and 80s I used to put them in the refrigerator. It was my favorite cookie when I was in the United States Air Force that would be my go to snack. I would only have time to eat one or two, so I couldn’t truly indulge.
cookie stores at the over inflated prices are never worth it...cookie making it way to precise when it comes to a greater population in terms. most people like cookies 1 way or another, and im going to bet it would cost too much money to keep them 100% fresh in rotation like a donut places do in places like vegas. if u go to some of the donut places they will only keep them for a certain amount of time because they know people are paying a premium for a specfic type of donut so they are going to only cook so many and if u go there past certain times if they are close to closing they will give u a discount for the donut
What's your favorite cookie?
I’m a plain Jane cookie person. I prefer simple butter cookies like a sable or shortbread. Usually something good with coffee! I do like some traditional Christmas cookies like Russian tea cakes and jam thumbprints. Not a big fan of iced cookies - too sweet.
My favorite cookies are chocolate crinkle cookies (snow caps) and peanut butter blossoms.
Key Lime Pie, it's served chilled
I do enjoy a nice crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside chocolate chip cookie.
The strawberry poptart, triple berry, churro, pineapple upside down, french silk so far. The sugar cookie has an almond soap taste to it.
I've only tried Crumble cookies one time. I thought they were beautiful but lacked the flavor I had hoped for. I do not feel they are worth the cost, they should taste great too.
The icer has a heavy hand
THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR HONEST OPINION, I TRULY APPRECIATE IT. KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE JOB 😁👏🏽👏🏽
Wouldn’t spend a dime at that place. What I would give to have a Mrs. Fields cookie shop back in Minnesota. 😂 This was my favorite place to go too in the mall as a child in the 80s.
I remember the smell of the cookies drew you in when walking past them. This place seems to be overpriced for sure.
I’m surprised you don’t have the descriptions of each cookie. Maybe on their website or App ? 🤔
What did you guys mean by under-baked? Did it taste raw? Or do you guys not like soft cookies? I don't like well done cookies. I prefer a cookie to be mostly soft in the middle. Thanks for doing this review, I'm never going to this overhyped cookie store.
Agreed. Prefer soft unless dipping in milk.
Crumbl Cookies always seem underbaked even when they’re fully baked.
100%
Under baked and soft is the best way to go on cookies
My favorite cookie is Raspberry Cheesecake cookie. I wonder if they have. The cookies look delicious and nice to get a cookie cutter. Looks like a bear on the sugar cookie. I would love to visit Crumbl cookies. Nice video Derek and Catherine. See you next time. ❤👍
Our favorite was the Kentucky Butter.
Sounds like a place to stay away from for me.
I would rather make my own or go grab some from Publix’s. The cookies from the specialty cookie stores just look nasty and overpriced and extremely sweet.
You guys should have had a drink of water or milk in between the tasting of each cookie or else you are just getting sweet upon sweet
Crumbl is disgusting. They also use artifical ingredients

AN8MAL COOOKIES......Mother's 🍪
Buys 👶🚼👶🚼👶
The cookies were BEAUTIFUL but I guess looks can be deceiving lol great video !!!!I dont like marshmallow at all!!!!I love peanut butter lol and nuts
I would love to see more of your videos on food, real food 😋
Crumbl isn't good. I don't understand the hype.
Have y’all watched
The report of the week?
He’s so fun to watch reviewing things. Lol
He’s a unique twist of food reviews.
Just for fun if you’ve not seen him
As the cookie Crumbles ...... Enjoyed the unique cookie cutter and would pass for a different desert spot.
Possibly a lion ? 🦁
They look overrated too lol
Can you look at buffets not on the strip please

It's a gorilla!
Out of all those cookies, the chocolate chip one is the best of all! From the texture and the amount of chocolate chips, not sure how it’s plain.
These cookies are overrated in my opinion. Ill rather go for 7/11 cookies 😂 and much cheaper
Rainbow cookies and macarons. I never tried these cookies and after your review doubt I will l. Your expressions say it all.
To be honest I bought a cookie from there and it was okay but I prefer to get cookies from another cookie shop which I think are way better.
When you are trying to be creative with food sometimes it doesn't hit the mark. Note to self... don't make "pink" cookies 🤢🤣
The website describes that pink cookie as follows: Classic
Pink Sugar An all-time favorite-a vanilla sugar cookie topped with a perfect pink swoop of real almond frosting. (Now containing real almond extract)
i see a face on the banana better cookie..banana chip..lol....those cookies really crumbled!
Sorry for the sour faces but this was a fun video for the rest of us. 😆👍
it taste like pink 🤣
Hello from Oregon, we love these cookies, however it is a hit and miss at times. During the holidays they have different flavors too. I only like the chocolate chip ones myself. Thank you for the review new sub!

That all looked not good. One just opened up the road from me and that's going to be a hard pass.... Thanks for the review 😍😍
This place is waaaaay over rated.

I heard they were huge, too sweet and over priced.
I like my cookies well done, almost burnt - real crunch and crumbs
I agree with you 100% they should be baking a cookies more thoroughly unbaked cookies is disgusting
I think they should change their name from crumbles cookies to crummy cookies! Thanks for the vid 😊😊😊😊 in
One of those over rated trendy places
I find Crumble cookies always under done. Not a fan. I think the animal that was on the cookie is a hippopotamus ☺️
Cookies appear quite underwhelming. 🙄😆
I've never had a bad Crumbl cookie.
Never been,, but it just seems to be another over priced yuppie place,,,,,
Levain bakery in NYC have the best cookies!!!
Lol I think it’s almond flavoring in the pink cookie
u should of said the price $$$ I know way to much
The problem is that no one makes anything homemade anymore so mediocre cookies with cheap ingredients sell for $$$$ because of presentation.
I prefer toll house or Mrs fields over crumble cookie
🐞Hopefully this fad will go the same way as the cupcake faze., I think the best is Mrs Fields, but I don’t know if she still has shops. I like the cookie cutter too. Thanks! 🐞

I don’t even need the commentary. I could just tell you guys don’t like the cookies by your facial reactions. Love it.
You guys crack me up. Facial expressions - priceless , great entertainment
Derek gave us his truffle face when he ate the pink cookie!
I read that the Classic Pink Sugar Cookie was discontinued in most areas because it wasn't popular. Its made with sweet almond flavoring for the top. I agree. none of those cookies looked good to me.
@@CGermanB 17 dollars? Wow! So not worth it to me.
I really like your description of each cookie. I love your channel ❤️
Thanks, Kristina!
Never going there! I think I could make better cookies with refrigerated dough for cookies.
I've been following you guys for about 2 months, and I love your reviews .Keep up the good work .
Thanks, Marva!
Thanx for sharing. At least now I know where not to go. LOL
Sorry you had a bad experience with crumble but at the same time I’m glad because I live in the Virgin Islands and we don’t have one so I’m glad I’m not missing out on anything. Happy I can live vicariously through you. Lol
I heard Gideon’s is much better in Disney springs,
Maybe one day you’ll venture east. L O L
Hey Derek: You’re copying TimmyTakeout’s format on Cookie Crumble, even down to the cookie cutter. What’s up!
I'm not sure what they mean by underdone. To me, Lofthouse cookies are "underdone".. meaning no real color on the bottom, soft all the way through. Many people feel the ideal texture in cookies is crispy edges with chewy interior.... although I know some like them crispy all the way through.
Awesome review, but we really miss you're nodding head 😊. The review wasn't sugar coated😂. Thanks!
I’m thinking the pink cookie could be Strawberry? 🍓
It's Mother's Circus Lion cookie! I loved those growing up. The plain Barnum ones were fun since they came inside a circus train box.
I never ate Crumbl cookies before but that chocolate cake cookie looks amazing !! 😊😍🤎🤎🤎🍫🍪
LAST TASTE TOGETHER HILARIOUS
SIMULTANEOUS REACTION
🤪😝😛🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🥴
They R definitely not the best cookie bakers it's like the company opened n thru some batter together without consulting the public with TASTE!!
The pink cookie is full of Almond Extract....that's what makes it so nasty! Lol
I'm glad that you ate those cookies so that I don't have to. Thanks. Cheers
My favorites are the lemon cheesecake and yes “ the pink cookie”. It is a Vanilla and Almond cookie with Almond flavoring for the frosting
I was pretty disappointed this week. FYI I think that is white chocolate, not marshmallow, and on the mystery cookie it is cream cheese icing.
A pound & a half of Oreo cookies is $5. I’ll stick with Nabisco, thank you.
They are awful..in my opinion..Not a cookie it's just cakes😊🍷
Never heard of this cookie business and would never buy a cookie from there. Enjoyed the video, though.
I do not like crumbl cookie…I watch you all’s video all the time and I could tell you didn’t like them either… They have really cool flavors and ideas and they like so cute and yummy. But they never taste like they look…. I really don’t get the hype.
I like crumbles cookies but they're just too overrated and too damn expensive.
I'm not impressed with these cookies. Don't think I will be buying any.
Not sure that cookie cutter is worth buying for $5 when knives exist in most people's kitchens. Most of their cookies are mid at best with a few rare exceptions.
Wish you had spent more time on flavor vs crumble. Didn't learn too much.
My favorite cookie is a Keebler pecan Sandie in the 70s and 80s I used to put them in the refrigerator. It was my favorite cookie when I was in the United States Air Force that would be my go to snack. I would only have time to eat one or two, so I couldn’t truly indulge.
The pink frosting has almond extract and my opinion, the almond flavor of extract destroys the true taste your trying to achieve
cookie stores at the over inflated prices are never worth it...cookie making it way to precise when it comes to a greater population in terms. most people like cookies 1 way or another, and im going to bet it would cost too much money to keep them 100% fresh in rotation like a donut places do in places like vegas. if u go to some of the donut places they will only keep them for a certain amount of time because they know people are paying a premium for a specfic type of donut so they are going to only cook so many and if u go there past certain times if they are close to closing they will give u a discount for the donut
Think the baking was off at the location you went to. They should never taste underdone or too hard.
I heard it was almond buttercream on their signature sugar cookie-very sweet!
I think those are over rated. I’m glad you did an honest review
You failed to tell us how outrageously over-priced these mediocre cookies are. I tried them once and never again.
The taste of the icing on the sugar cookie, he said is tasted like toothpaste.... did it have wintergreen in it? Did it have that pepto bismol flavor?
The pink is almond flavor and team green is just oreo flavor with green frosting.
U guys at home are so soothing, like ASMR. Smooth camera and voice dulcet tones!
Crumble cookies are always to doughy and not enough chocolate. At least the place near me.
