2014 Kia Picanto 1.2 EX Oil Change

One of the most important regular maintenance items, well executed engine oil changes within the prescribed service intervals will help to maintain performance and will extend engine life significantly.
Always use oils meeting specifications listed by Kia, these specifications vary depending on your location/ your country due to environmental factors & ambient temperatures.
You require a 17mm socket for the sump bolt. After draining the oil & changing the filter you should fill exactly 3.6 liters of the prescribed oil. Confirm the oil capacity of your vehicle before assuming that the volume listed here applies to your engine.

Y oil pump not pulling oil through engine

Grade 40 oil is too thick for fuel economy. 30 would be better, unless your car is already burning oil.

adding 5 liters of oil in a Kia Picanto 1.2 engine will almost certainly cause serious engine damage shortly after firing up. The rated oil capacity following an oil and filter change is 3.6 liters, read up details in this video description or carefully check your vehicle service manual

On the owner’s manual kia said that the oil capacity il 2,9 liters for the 1.0 and 3,5 liters on the 1.25.
