actually, i heard the news that they want to released 5 seasons but the budget is too big (250 Mil USD, the most expensive animated tv series ever) so they only can make 2 seasons.

There is a believable theory that she escaped. You can see shimmer trail in the explosion. Then Cat smiled when she saw her path of escape. She left to she can break the chain of hatred and Vi to be happy with Cat. Left everything old behind and start a new live. The episode ends with one of the flying ships that Jinx always wanted to be on. Hopefully she was on that one.

Before the explosion there's a "Shimmer trail" and later on we see Caitlyn investigating the vents at the hexgates to maybe see where she could've gone to escape. Also at the very end we see one of those big blimps in the first episode of season 1 Powder says "One day I'm gonna ride in one of those" hinting that it could be her piloting that thing.
