Great job Bart. I really like the styrofoam idea.

Thanks. It work very fast. Foam can be tricky to work with but if you box it in between several materials it does just fine.

Adding the blue as a color for the road was a good idea. Just thinking about it after you talked about and I was like yeah asphalt has a blueish in it somewhat. Neat! 👍

Thanks. Asphalt and also concrete are a hole mix of colors. I find it isn't easy to model well. There is a difference between something that looks great, and something that looks like the real thing, and looks great.
I still need to weather the road. Let's see where it ends up after that!

Course I will probably like the road more with painted lines an a bit more weathered. So far, I like you're sharing with us the kind of paint you used for the job. Boy those side walks look great after you punished them a bit ! No wonder... It's ITLA ! Keep on your good work.

@@DubaiTrains You're right. There is always more to do than done. But I repeat : I really like what you did to the walkway. Very realistic. Even if you put the camera pretty close. I will take a look at ITLA kits and let you know my choice. Course I'm going with industrial building.

@@lucgagnon5241 Thank you. I am also very pleased with the result. The folks at ITLA do have a good eye for detail. The kits are also easy to make. No warped plastic or anything like that.

If you want to have all crossings differently, what about making one street from cobble stone? I would love to see that!

Cobble stones are next. I already have about 10000 of them 😬🙃

Can you post a link or give the products dimensions and thickness of the foam. I would love to use this on my layout. Please and thank you!

Let me look it up. It was 1mm thick but a note of caution as it arrive 1.15mm thick.
