      xD That was the point why Tsuchiya said he likes the 86 and the VTEC :D
      15k€ is price for a stock trueno spritner in europe, and its not even in perfect condition -_-
      unfortunately totally overpriced. i really want one but iam not going to spend my money of a 325ci plus EF8 for a car much slower then both :/

      @NoNoNoNii agree but this is probably difficult too. I mean no abs on asphalt on wet, if you locked up thats it. While on dirt when your locking up its actually good because the dirt will get stucked on your tires and help you brake for shorter distance. And yeah these two just probably one of the toughest situation in motorsport. I like rallying but this is impressive. I like how they still have a clean race tho. I mean it requires a lot of skill and awareness

  • @RolanTHUNDER
    @RolanTHUNDER 8 лет назад +20

    Maita!!! S2000 victory!! Wow that was an incredible race. From the start those four cars were so evenly matched on Tsukuba! Epic performance from the S2K, Hachi Roku and Inte R as well. Excellent driving from all of them but especially Takeshi-kun. The way he handled that high powered FR machine - S2000 in the wet and to pull off a maneuver like he did on the last corner?? Amazing. Yapari sugoi desh da!! Made an S2K owner like me very proud :D

    If you hear dori dori at the end you hear him say "but getting passed by a s2000 on the outside.. You can tell the generation gap" .. A lot more than a good tune going on there !

  • @ramal5708
    @ramal5708 2 года назад +5

    That USO2000, AE86 with F20C engine is probably a perfect match for alternative 4AGE replacement, the tuner is also neat by putting in S2000 tacho/speedometer in the panel

    Sick finish on the S2k at the end. What a battle.

  • @cxbra
    @cxbra 10 лет назад +20

    That Integra type-R is so fast because he had the choice of the fastest lines... Outside line to inside is the best way for a fwd to keep momentum and reduce wheel spin. If you noticed, the cars behind him were running probably a full second lap time quicker, the Type-R just blocked everyone haha. Great race though, I was really going for the S2000!

    • @justinholloway5210
      @justinholloway5210 9 лет назад +6

      +cxbra every corner requires a different line. The FF is more stable in these conditions while the FR require more concentration. The DC2 scored third best laptime in the time attack prior to them racing. Tsuchiya made a mistake and almost lost it. The Integra is so stable he easily avoided it with slight adjustments.

  • @justinholloway5210
    @justinholloway5210 9 лет назад +26

    Wow I can't believe that S2000 passed a DC2 type R from the outside so easily. That s2000 has to be running excellent tires for this weather. That was good driving too. He used Technique to ease into the outside line right as they crossed for turn-in forcing the DC2 to hold the inside and not accelerate out the corner like he wants while S2000 maintains momentum from the outside.

    • @TheBb6prelude
      @TheBb6prelude 8 лет назад +2

      pretty much block him in the inside line.

    • @xSS4x
      @xSS4x 6 лет назад +7

      The FR layout is just superior to FF when it comes to pure balance during a race and its quite easy to see here, the DC2 was slowing the pace of the race the whole time with all FR behind clearly faster.
      Having the front tire used for everything clearly has its drawbacks. . .

    • @shadowblitzo123
      @shadowblitzo123 5 лет назад

      Dude, it's not surprising. S2000 uses K Series engine which is more powerful than a B Series engine which is what the DC2R has (stock wise)

      xSS4x umm have you seen other Tsukuba battles? FF gives FR a run for its money on this track and plenty of touge courses. Jun dc5 layed a whooping on the C west 2.2 liter s2k on the straights of tsukuba and the corners.

      VM there is no such thing as a b16c but racing a stock b16a against a stock ae86 is just one sided as the ae86 gets destroyed. and in that video one of the ae86's had a f20c S2000 engine and it still got beat while having a huge weight advantage, it even lost to the fwd 1.8l integra.

      the car is also perfectly tuned, perfectly balanced somehow. I see no oversteering whatsoever. at last lap and last corner where the s2k took the winning overtake, Takeshi Tsuchiya the s2k driver did late braking, overtaking from the outside, seems impossible but it's happening, not taking a single oversteer or drifting dramas, and wins the race. gotta have one i think
