I LOVE sailing videos of sailors sailing. Videos of sailors going yackity yack are not so my scene. Thank you for letting me watch you sail. Your son is an inspiration. Cheers Gray Logan river Queensland Australia
It's taken me a bit of time to 'get into' your video style, but it is very good. To see you all pulling as a family, to hear the way you all, including Aiden, have an opinion about most things and most of all to watch you all having fun. Great Video and so full of your life......David
@@Expedition_Tranquilo Thank you for loving my name. Thanks to you, I have seen the Mediterranean shores. I even started to shape my dreams with your Hanse 455.
The part about Peter Blake also bought tears to my eyes, he was an incredible racer and adventurer. I was crushed when I heard he'd been killed on the Amazon.
That would be ideal, however not practical with a self-tacking headsail and especially no pole. We did have a conversation with the sailing guru Chris Tibbs (ex Volvo Ocean Race navigator, RYA Weather Handbook author, crossed Atlantic 27 times) who emphatically states wing on wing is the way to sail downwind across oceans, and we fully agree if you have a standard furling headsail and a pole; he didn't have an answer for a self-tacking headsail apart from finding a way to lock the self-tacker into one side - we did come up with a solution for this, stay tuned!
No, months back! But thanks for the heads up. Yeah we've crossed paths with them before - or at least missed them at one or two anchorages by a month according to fellow sailors...

Noted Graham, thanks, we'll continue to focus on the sailing, and not on yackity yack (love it)! And we'll let Aiden know, he'll appreciate it!
Conversation while we watch you sail is ok

Awesome vid guys, real feel of sailing with that spinaker up!
And those racers in the 70s really knew how to race - beers, guitars!
Good stuff!
Yeah that's what we thought! Our type of racing!
I wanted to be the first to post this video. you are back with a fantastic video. As I watch the videos, my horizon hurts. thank you.
Awesome thanks! And we must say we love your name!
