I absolutely love what you did with the vanity. I never thought possible such a transformation, from MDF to a wood grained look-a-like! The sink itself no longer stands out, as it’s a completely new look, with the way the vanity’s been transformed. The look of a ‘belly sink’ no longer stands out anymore (no pun intended)! Nice job! 😁
I love the colour of faucet you chose … antique gold??? The style is befitting! Please, disregard my last comment about a pedestal sink … not really needed now … as mentioned, the sink itself no longer draws attention to itself, as it once did! Not sure but did you change out the drain … I couldn’t see? If not, it might be something to consider down the road, to avoid one’s’ eyes being drawn to the difference in colours. I could be mistaken but don’t faucets usually come with a matching drain?
I can hardly wait for the wall paper to go up … it will add so much to what you’ve already done! I still think eventually a tin ceiling with cornice moulding would top it off (no pun intended). But of course … all in good time … it shouldn’t be too costly, as it’s a small space. Plus, it’ll give you a chance to practice installing it (the biggest expense being labour costs); as well as seeing the effect that type of a ceiling has, on a circa home.
But now that you’ve gone to all that time, energy and expense … there’s still one more thing you might want to do … eventually that is! Can you paint the floor too? Perhaps a lighter shade of, say a faux slate finish? Is there even such a product available? I’m just saying it would be within keeping of the richness and elegance you’ve created in that space! Again … in due course! 😊
Even though it’s still premature to say … the transformation looks beautiful so far, for what you’ve done! I’m really excited and looking forward to next weeks’s show with the completed transformation! 🙏🙌❤️🇨🇦

Ahh thank you so very much for all of your incredibly kind comments ✨ I’m so glad you enjoyed this week’s transformation! Yes I did replace the drain stopper too to match the faucet, makes all the difference!
That actually is a great idea to try out the tin ceiling in this small space to see what I think and yes changing the floor somehow too would be fun 🤩
Soooo excited for the big reveal next week! I promise you’re going to love it 🤍

@@HeartandHomeCrew I commend you on doing all these renovations yourself. I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to do take on the challenge. I tend to be more of a PAG (pay a guy) myself! 😁
If you do a tin ceiling don’t forget to incorporate cornice moulding, which is the same as crown moulding ... it frames the room.
I’m excited to see the finished room. That wall paper is going to surprise a lot of people, who you may have left scratching their heads. I can totally envision it, once you finished the painting! I didn’t quite see the vanity coming though … I was quite surprised what those products were able to do! It really looked like a wood vanity!
Looking forward to next week … unless you entertain us with a week’s worth of shorts again! Have a blessed week! 🙏🙌❤️🇨🇦
