I've got an Anker PowerExpand 11-in-1 USB C Hub Adapter instead. Pro with the Anker... 1/8" audio jack. Con with the Anker... permanent USB-C cable

Hello Sir! Just wanted to give you a update on this dock. We use this in a work environment and if you use this device and install display link drivers it will allow multiple displays and the internal display as well. However once you add that secondary monitor and use the internal, the driver starts causing the system to respond slower. I believe the driver is just not created the best for the Mac!

This dock does not support displaylink

@@LonSeidman That is odd. We do have it running on a MacBook Pro with Intel graphics and we couldn’t get the device to use the monitors until we downloaded the display link drivers direct from their website. Maybe it’s not an official work around and i misspoke. I will confirm my findings. Thank you for this information. It is always great to have a discussion about this device because it’s been a pain getting ours to work.

I use one of these frequently.
My employer provided these to everyone for work from home. It works wonderfully. Just make sure you use the proper USB C cord else it wont work.

Thanks for your hard work on this. Will the video and usb ports retain some functionality only on computer power or does it require separate external power?

Is the dp port capable of 3440*1440p 144hz? Ultrawide monitor. Thanks
Also, is it really 100W passthrough? Some are saying 100W but 85W passthrough 15W for the hub

Would plugging the USB-C cable into the data port instead of the laptop port stop this device from doing its job?
