They've just been confirmed for Furnace Fest in Birmingham Alabama end September 2021. Check out the line up. I'm flying over there from Belgium, the line up is that good.
@@aolukcosek Let me know if you're serious about going. European credit cards don't seem to work on the festival ticket handler's website (apparently they just assume an American crowd), I had to email the organizer and they sent me a Paypal link so they could create our tickets.
Terror linked up with original guitarist and current Nails frontman Todd Jones to re-record a selection of songs from their first two albums, giving them the modern, live-in-studio treatment. Tbh, I don’t really see the point in this release. I picked up Lowest of The Low when it was release by Bridge Nine in 2002/2003 & have to say since Always The Hard Way there hasn’t been a Terror release that’s truly captured the energy of those first releases. If anything they should’ve dropped another live album, as there’s some awesome live recordings out there.
If a hardcore band puts out a 23 minute record it's an album. Lol. ... on a side note, I do love Terror. Besides seeing Madball at the gilman, they were the last band I seen play, in Santa Cruz right before the lockdown in 2020.
Probably should have researched the album name haha Fuck the image is pretty much the same too. Check out the 80's Toronto hardcore band called Direct Action.
I don't see why people call this "hardcore" it literally sounds like every other party thrash metal band back in those days like municipal waste just not as a good vocalist. Listen to some old throwdown that's real hardcore. But those are just my opinions I guess gonna be seeing these guys and check out here in a few days. I'm going to see dying fetus, brand of sacrifice and some other band which is weird considering those bands are brutal as fuck then you got these guys. But what do I know haven't seen them yet.
Once attended a show (1990?) with the three-band lineup of: Death, Devastation, & Terror O.M.MF.G. what a show!!!!!! The only band I knew going in was the headliner (i.e., Death).
Terror didn’t form until 2002. Before Terror, vocalist Scott Vogel sang for Slugfest, Despair, and for Buffalo based metalcore act Buried Alive in the mid-1990s. Drummer Nick Jett and ex-guitarist Todd Jones were members of the well-known hardcore band Carry On (who had releases on Bridge Nine and Teamwork Records).
@@davidanderson1639 -- hmmm, must have been another band called Terror because it was definitely Death, Devastation, and Terror. I think they may have been a more local opening band (perhaps from Cleveland?)...
@@Mattalica-ss9pj it’s all good!! Just be thankful it’s not like the situation that hardcore band American Nightmare faced; they got issued with legal papers forcing them to change their name. So for several years they played / put out releases under the name Give Up The Ghost.
@@davidanderson1639 -- Or how about the band from San Antonio that had to change its name to "SA Slayer" because (LA) Slayer released their album first (even though SA had recorded theirs first)...
Something about this re-recording doesn’t sound good, something is wrong. Looking forward mostly to seeing Drain in a couple months, with Terror headlining in Dallas. Terror isn’t the best band but has some great songs.
@@ccmetalhead Here's a long story...Terror put on a dope show a few weeks ago. They're always so damn good live. They're touring with Black Dalia Murder & a couple other metal bands right now. I went only to see Terror. I'm not super-into metal. So this show in Ft. Worth 3 weeks ago made news because security kept pushing people in the front & were generally being jerks. Riglea Theatre, was being super strict about anyone getting on the stage & diving, and they were trying to control the pit and prevent crowd-killing. So, Scott from Terror throws the microphone into the audience to let the crowd sing along and security grabs it aggressively from someone's hands & yells into the mic "I DON'T THINK SO!" Then he hands it back to Scott! This one security asshole also pushed some dude up front who was just up on someone's shoulders trying to sing. So Terror said that night was the worst security they'd ever experienced in their entire career. Riglea then banned Terror & hardcore shows and got in the news saying how violent & dangerous the crowd was being during Terror. Below is a video about it. Weirdly, Terror also kicked some douchebag security guard from their show in Dallas 3 years ago at a different venue, Trees! I was at that show, too. There's also a video of that if you wanna look it up, it should be close to this video. ruclips.net/video/ZgCdLCrTWLI/видео.html
@crookedhalo5266 I saw them in Minneapolis, it was awesome. That's badass, haha. To be fair I'm impressed to see hardcore shows even playing at large venues like the skyway theater. Frozen Soul was also killer. I've seen those guys twice now.

Terror still got it!
damn, wish this was actually a new album. but a greatest hits re-recording is still alright
This and the 7 inch release are fucking crushing. Screw what everyone says these releases are powerful and thick
Agreed, it never lets up
Sounds amazing! love these songs, sick that they felt like re-recording it.
They always bring it live! So damn heavy!!
