    just one question- HOW someone with XY chromosomes may develope menstrual cycle at all? It's nonsense.

      Many thanks for your interesting question! It may seem counterintuitive, but individuals with XY chromosomes can develop a menstrual cycle in cases of Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS). AIS is a rare genetic condition where a person with XY chromosomes has a genetic mutation that makes their body partially or completely insensitive to male hormones (androgens). As a result, their bodies develop along female lines, including the development of female reproductive structures such as a uterus. However, since they lack sensitivity to androgens, they do not develop typical male secondary sexual characteristics. So, while it may appear nonsensical at first glance, it's a reality in the context of certain medical conditions.

      @@lecturiomedical False information, individuals with AIS do NOT have a uterus because there is the presence of anti-mullerian hormone as they are of XY caryotype.
