The Haskell shirt for your daughter is beautiful! Perfectly made - nice buttonholes, too 😄! I think some kind of top like the other commenters are suggesting would be a nice thing to have and would go with all kinds of shorts, pants, etc. Hope you finish your renovations soon so you can get back to your happy place for sewing!

Personally, I’d make shorts from your leftover linen blend fabric. I love that color and it would coordinate really well with lots of my printed tops. It would make a great co-ord set for your daughter, too. 😊

It makes it a little more interesting than just a fabric haul of one thing. It’s DEFINITELY not an expectation, because I certainly don’t sew every piece of fabric I get right away (😂) but it’s cool to see it made up.

I don’t have the Harmony blouse, but I checked online and the XL sleeveless version calls for 1 yard, that’s amazing, and there is a free tutorial for a “petal” sleeve (tulip sleeve). I will see if I have a similar pattern in my Trello account (from my New Look haul). I am hoping to be back in the sewing room next weekend, even if it is not completely finished. Great shirt! Really stunning color. If it was me I'd consider a sleeveless blouse for underneath that one so you could wear it like a set... or either alone. Since the one you've made is for your daughter she'd have to be in agreement. If just for you? A vee neck sleeveless tank... that color is really lovely near your face.

Your linen blend 1.5 yd piece is enough for a woven tank top. OR Combine it with another fabric and make a top with contrast sleeves or yoke? Sinclair has a new pattern (on sale) with a square yoke top. Or McCalls 8001 top view A.

So glad you can keep on sewing. I love the top. I would look for printed fabric that coordinates with the fabric you have and make a nice gore shirt.
