I love the interpretations of this song. I personally interpret it as someone speaking to themselves as they gradually become more self-aware with their behaviour and morality, along with the sense of aimlessness and loss of self that comes with it. And then at the end, they come to their "final" epiphany, being "true" to themselves. I love how you managed to encapsulate that vibe with the aesthetic choices that you chose for this video, it works perfectly with the atmosphere of the song itself. 👍

I can totally see that. Doubt vs. affection inside the mind of an individual is a really hard-hitting subject, too. I nearly drove myself insane near the start of the year because I thought that I was in love with one of my bosses. I don't know if I was ever in love, nor do I know if she knew I felt so strongly towards her. I'll never know how legitimate my feelings of affection were. And I'll never know if she knew because she broke that glass ceiling a long time ago. She's looking down on me now from the moon and the stars while I'm glued to the ground. I think she thought of me as she thought of everyone else if she didn't view me as a lesser person, that is.

The music itself is such a trippy vibe, You adding on to is just like, such a nice touch of vibe. I don’t know if I can explain it, or if there’s even a word for it. But it feels like you’re in an empty road, pretty flower field or some other location, driving in the sunrise or at dawn, with your windows down, with your best friends in the car, and this song is playing giving that echo-ey feel. Like it gives you that feeling you’ll be okay and this moment is for you to enjoy, like just living in the moment.

So since march I've been going on and off with my narcissistic ex girlfriend kinda doing this half relationship thing and it sucks how much this song hits home for me. Being in a pretty abusive "relationship" is a lot more complicated than people think it is when they aren't going thru it. This song definitely has given me some insight on where I'm at and has given me a way to kinda process and make sense of a lot of the feelings I've been feeling this year.

A new thing about this video I appreciate: the slowness of the background lights! I discovered this video a few years ago but have begun to develop a flashing light sensitivity, and I was pleasantly suprised to find that I can still watch all the parts of this video with lyrics on screen! A new thing about this video I appreciate: the slowness of the background lights! I discovered this video a few years ago but have begun to develop a flashing light sensitivity, and I was pleasantly suprised to find that I can still watch all the parts of this video with lyrics on screen! The purple lights pause just enough, the arrows aren't too bold and they flow into each other rather than appearing and vanishing on screen, it's great
