9:36 Absolute same reaction i had when i added Corsa Active Extreme to my 19 GT PP1 Mustang. Yes 2K for a complete exhaust kit is not cheap but oh so worth it. The best part was the modes silent-normal-sport-track..kept it on silent 24/7 365 before 8am on a timer as to not kill the neighbors when i went to the gym at 3:45am lol. Loved that i could sound like a tame eco boost and in one click a roaring avalanche of scream the next. Awesome car man..i'm a mustang guy but that ZL1 is something i would change teams for in an instant!

Sounds great on that ZL1. I have a 2011 2SS and put the Corsa 3" extreme on last year. I was able to put the exhaust on in my driveway with the car on jackstands. I was able to install alone in about 2.5 hours. I could feel instant power gain. I had Flowmasters on it before with stock pipes. Love that Corsa!
Just so everyone knows, at least 3 websites do still have this exhaust system that deletes the secondary cats. If you want it act fast because once they are gone that's it.

I've got a 21 scat pack with the corsa extreme. I was really wanting to upgrade to a supercharged V8, and the ZL1 was the direction I was leaning, but with gas prices, I don't think I'm going to be able to justify it to my family. It sucks. Once you start owning performance cars, you don't want to go back. I don't want a telsa. I want to drive a muscle car.

Adding exhaust does not void warranty. Headers might depending on the dealer but to really get headers to be worth it you need a tune and that definitely voids the warranty

This is the Corsa Extreme + Catback exhaust but it was the older version before the epa stepped in with the x pipe that gets rid of secondary cats. I did a full review of it as well just recently

To be honest with the ZL1 1LE I don’t miss the GT350R at all. It does everything better from power, handling, creature comforts, and so on. The Shelby was an amazing car and I really loved it but this is the car I was always gunning for. Drive a a ZL1 1LE and it will probably change your mind
My issue with a cat back is the price for zero power gain. Over priced for just sound. Did you weight the fact muffler vs the corsa? I hear its about a 5lbs difference?
Totally understand that but this car was just way to quiet from factory and sometimes it’s not about the horsepower gain but more how it puts a smile on your face. For me the exhaust really makes this car come alive and down the road will help with power mods
@@BROCKgoFAST I'll give you this. I have a zl1 with a Maggie, 103, cam, headers, off roads, factory catback, E85. I have the standard rotofab intake and switched to the big gulp. Did a back to back dyno and tuned the biggulp. 2hp gain. Seriously. I was disappointed expecting 20hp or so. I sent it back..

They do have one that can keep the NPP but it’s another $1000 for it. For me there wasn’t a need to have the NPP. At cruising the exhaust is quiet and only loud when you jump on it or cold start

Did you ever get a check engine light? I see alot of people get one from the driver side cat delete area leaking. I just ordered this kit for my ZLE.

Adding exhaust does not void warranty. Headers might depending on the dealer but to really get headers to be worth it you need a tune and that definitely voids the warranty

Got it from CSP Racing. Don’t need link pipes with the Corsa Extreme, they are built into the X pipe

So supposedly they stopped selling because of the EPA. There have been a few left on eBay though
Was your car tuned before this install? And did this install make the engine light come on?
No and no. The exhaust isn’t messing with the computer and the secondary cats aren’t monitored. Hope this helps
