Stopped here about 5 years ago. It was a bit dated before the obvious upgrades ,but we had a fantastic stay with good service & lovely food. Looks a lot better now might visit again but noticed it was very expensive now. We are booked for the Princess Yaiza next door in 3 weeks time,so may have a wonder down & have a look.
So if you book preferred club you get slightly bigger rooms with a better view, your mini bar stocked up daily and a separate place for breakfast and where you can go and get drinks and snacks at any time during the day. And premium drinks.
Did you get alcoholic drinks in the preferred club , if so can you tell me if it was spirits and beers & wine , thinking of just doihalf board and preferred club .
Very nice pool & walk around ares, but to call that room 5 star? Never! You got bigger & better room 100€ less per Night at Barcelo Active! From Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe! 😊😊😊 looks very empty a little bit of sadness.....No not a top 5 choice on Lanzarote fore me! Price around 400€ per night, to much......😮!

Yes I'd say only book if you can get it at a good price. I will try the Yaiza next as it looks lovely there.
What's the preferred club all about? Booked for July all inclusive, should we take up this preffered club?

Hi x when did u go? X is there any heated pool at all?
We were there the first week of January. Yes the pools are heated to a decent temperature, no issues there.
When it was four star the place was busy now it's a five star there is hardly anyone there.
It was fairly busy but definitely not full. They wouldn't have been able to cope if it was full!!

I do agree. The room was functional and clean but not opulent in any way. I've never stayed at the barcelo active, I'll add it to my list.
