I think that would end the wish as soon as she asked him though and if she wasn't feeling the same way she'd just cancel later not really knowing why she asked him out in the first place. I think a better wish would be "I wish to know if she feels the same way I do about her" or "I wish to know her likes and dislikes" so he could just use that knowledge to get an advantage. Or hell if he wanted to do the "she loves me" kind of wish he could have said "I wish she felt the same way about me as I do about her" that way the her love isn't out of control.

For the first time, this is a horror movie that hits me hard. Since it can show how deadly things like this can get. And the movie changing how you can have a chance to cancel the wish but not alter it, to not being able to change it makes this even more heavy, deep and scary. @ChernosOfficial My theory is that another guy in the past made the same wish toward Nikki, which turned out terrible so he either died by her hand due to the wish, or commit suicide to escape from her. Since the wisher died, the spell was broken, and Nikki is back to her own self without any memory of what had transpired. She moved to another city to avoid becoming a suspect, which is where the movie starts.
I think its an entity that forces her to love him or control her. She might be fighting the entity. Thats why you hear the 2 screams when shes in that dark corner

I saw the world premiere of this at TIFF last September. It was absolutely incredible. Inde Navarrette is incredible. Her energy and facial expressions and animation is acting at its finest.

My most anticipated this year! Had a couple people that saw it at a film festival tell me it was the most memorable and crazy thing they ever saw and it get insanely gory.
Saw this last yr at South festival,a major hit with audience and critics.Low budget,unknown actors,solid acting,suspence,creepy thrills etc.PS this will be a hit,if it makes 20mill,that is huge.

just saw this movie tonight. go see this movie as soon as you can. genuinely the most stressful and intense movie i have seen in who knows how long. one scare had me jump out of my skin

For the first time, this is a horror movie that hits me hard. Since it can show how deadly things like this can get. And the movie changing how you can have a chance to cancel the wish but not alter it, to not being able to change it makes this even more heavy, deep and scary. I'm thinking she's generally obsessive in nature when in love but the guy forcefully getting her to love him made her bad condition come out to the surface, still doesn't make it right from his side.
@ChernosOfficial My theory is that another guy in the past made the same wish toward Nikki, which turned out terrible so he either died by her hand due to the wish, or commit suicide to escape from her. Since the wisher died, the spell was broken, and Nikki is back to her own self without any memory of what had transpired. She moved to another city to avoid becoming a suspect, which is where the movie starts.
I think its an entity that forces her to love him or control her. She might be fighting the entity. Thats why you hear the 2 screams when shes in that dark corner

I saw the world premiere of this at TIFF last September. It was absolutely incredible. Inde Navarrette is incredible. Her energy and facial expressions and animation is acting at its finest.

It would be interesting if the movie showed her perspective of suddenly being obsessed with her friend. Like if her normal self was trapped in her mind watching this unfold, kind of like in Get Out when they were just watching the people control their bodies

My most anticipated this year! Had a couple people that saw it at a film festival tell me it was the most memorable and crazy thing they ever saw and it get insanely gory.
Saw this last yr at South festival,a major hit with audience and critics.Low budget,unknown actors,solid acting,suspence,creepy thrills etc.PS this will be a hit,if it makes 20mill,that is huge.
