I think I have seen almost every Efren video available on youtube and I still am not bored watching him play. By far my favorite player and he can still compete with these young guys

If I recall correctly the host, Scott "The Freezer" Frost beat Ronnie "The Rocket" O'Sullivan in straight pool on Ronnie's "takes on america" style video.

I was going to write a few comments on "The Freezer's" commentary until I read all the others posted. Not much to add. Scott you are my One pocket guru!
You might not know this little trivia.: The great Efren Bata Reyes has finally admitted the influence of Actor and comedian " Chiquito" (rip), in his early years at Lucky 13 Billiard Hall in Downtown Mania. Few people knew that the actor was a topnotch billiards player having earned the monicker of " Mr. Eight Ball"...and was an Asian games gold medalist in the mid sixties. I am lucky to have witnessed his mastery of the game of "carambola" and also for his funny antics before playing a shot....

Wonderful match. Plenty of strategy and tough shot making. Very insightful commentary. You obviously know this game well. I especially appreciated the couple of times Efren surprised you and you aknowledged it.
Thinking this is one of the most accurate 'Goat' lists i've ever seen, and obviously a lot of time reseaching.
No surprise that Scott has masterful knowledge of One Pocket, but credit where it is due he did a great job commentating. The game would be more popular if there was more of this level of commentary.

Another great performance from Efren. Love watching that guy play one-pocket. It's a treat. Filler wasn't bad either. He's a straight shooter for sure. He also had some nice one-pocket skills and good thinking. I didn't expect him to play the mental side of it so well but he impressed me there.

Efren looked really sharp here. In most of his other matches recently, you can see many signs of his age-related decline, but not this one!

Great video. I don't play this game but would love to spend some time learning it. More of a chess match and skill than the usual 9 ball games. I learned a lot from the great commentation and from these two players. My only question is: What are they doing with the balls down in the drop after their turn, etc.? Putting them in some kind of order? I just can't figure out the significance. Would love to know.... I'm moving to the Philippines from the USA permanently in a few months. I would love to meet Efren at some point in the PI.
That's how you keep score in one pocket. After you pocket balls in your pocket, you separate them from your opponents (in a different container, for example), so you can keep track of how many each player has pocketed.
