Tiny little thing to clear things up/make boundaries/answered common question This is not attacking anybody, if you have something in your AU that I brought up in this video, these are just my personal problems with the GACHA Fnaf Community! (A lot of my problems don’t happen in the fnaf art community from what I’ve seen) "Why is the AI breathing/taking so many pauses?" I didn’t know how to fix it at the time guys :( Please don’t ask me for criticisms/thoughts on your Aus unless we are close friends/mutuals. I love how y’all are creative! ^^ "The books are canon!!" They are a separate story, they just use the same characters and are *not canon to the games.* just like how the games *aren’t canon to the books.* that is what I meant when I say 'they are not canon' No comments on this video will be changing my mind on my points, I will stand firmly with what I said! If you disagree with anything, I have to say, that’s fine, but please do not make an argument in the comments about it Again, Please don’t argue in the comments :( Any hateful comments or comments that make myself uncomfortable will be deleted!
I don't think my Elizabeth is "obsessed" with ice cream. If she is there's a good reason. When my Liz was alive, the rule at the Afton household was one dessert night a month if you behave. They were trying to be good parents, but it is part of the reason my Liz was so excited when Circus Baby made the ice cream for her.
I think that is a perfect characterization of why Elizabeth would like ice cream so much! What I meant with "obsession" is that being part of her core personality, or having no reason behind it! Thank you for your input!
mine likes ice cream bc shes 4 lol. Also William was super fat (canon in the novel until he became insane and unhealthy) and so their was always deserts n stuff in the house, but her brothers woukd eat it before she could bc yk brothers.
no bc the first one is so real?? whenever i finish a design i like, i get super duper giddy & the thought of absolutely shitting all over someone who might feel that way about a design they really like makes me feel weird 😭
Not only in fandoms but in other sides of the internet I've seen most people using the same excuse of "the murderer having trauma", every time I see or hear people say this just doesn't sit fully right with me, and in general just makes me feel uncomfortable. It *really* doesn't get someone's way out of the horrible crimes they did while at it.
@@sillybuglover This is so real! Henry Emily is Not a good father because he never cares aboute his wife and son after the Charlotte death He thinks he was the only one suffering with this, He ended up being selfish.
Before I opened this video I believed there will be so many annoying anti-fun opinions that I've been met with in literally EVERY type of video like this. And I was actually pleasantly surprised to see that I actually agree with many/all of your points Though I got to say a few things because I am too much of a yapper not to 0:47 While I do agree with most of the things stated here, I also believe that IF certain characters have canon skin tones presented in the games or mentioned in the books, then they should stay similar to those in the AUs as well. And while yeah, the books are not entirely canon, they still have some stuff that give you the idea of what could be canon in the games (for example, Henry's family tree). As long as the skin tone is not canon, you are more than free to use your imagination! 1:30 What I find even worse in this scenario is when they trash on AUs for not being canon and then say that the actual canon is **insert some theory by game theorist**. It's actually crazy how dependent this fandom is on game theorist to the point they believe everything they say is canon😭 5:36 As someone who's been proudly introducing my own OCs publicly for 2 years now and trying to make them as realistic as possible - I have absolutely no problem with OCs being cringy or Mary Sues. The point of being in a fandom is to have fun, so what if some people like to make OCs who appear to be too perfect or appear to be too cringe? It won't kill anyone 6:12 I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THAT MF FOR WHAT HE DID TO MY BABY SAMMY. Henry apologists p*ss me off.
4:01 I hated when people do that because bruh they’re kids like do people just have personal grudges against children?? the most part that made me cringe is when they get them to bully William or Micheal and they can’t defend themselves from children 🤦♀️
I love this video so much especially on the Elizabeth/Cassidy demonization part like first of all Elizabeth did only one horrible thing in CANON SERIES which is essentially murder, her brother to escape years of torture (seeing how the fun times animatronics were treated) And being bossy (which is a normal child thing by the way) and with Cassidy, she’s completely valid in her hatred for William. This is the man that murdered her who in their right mind wouldn’t be upset at the fact that they were murdered and their killer got away for years
The points about Elizabeth are so real. It's gotten a bit better now as a lot of the fandom has matured, but people used to NOT be able to handle her character with nuance. It was always either she was the evil mastermind or some innocent angel, when she is neither of those things. Victim and villain are not mutually exclusive titles. I saw very similar treatment of Six in the Little Nightmares fandom.
This is rant, is the best I've see so far. There were a lot of key points you've said, that I've agree with. As someone who writes books, I've spend a lot of hours working on my AU. From explaining how characters know each. How certain characters posses animatronics, and why other don't. To spending hours writing different backstorys, to help EXPLAIN how a character acts and behaves towards others and how those actions have heavy consequences. If it’s okay with you, I would like to share this video.
I remember making the tormenters in Gacha like 3 years ago. Remind you, I made their designs based off of my memory and also kinda my own imagination. Safe to say, I got so many hate comments for not making the Bonnie mask guy 'dark' enough, but I didn't do it on purpose and when I tried to explain nobody listened. But remember, there will always be one sane person in your comments section who will defend and understand you because I didn't do it maliciously. I just wanted to share my opinion, because I've been on the receiving end of hate from many fandoms for not being accurate enough, for people disliking my AU's or ships, etc. Every fandom has it, and the haters will always manage to outshine the people who support you because their words hurt more than how wonderful the support feels. To that I say; screw them. If anybody here is thinking of making any sort of content, please do, and if somebody hates it, well that's on them, because they're wasting THEIR time, so don't allow them to waste yours. Love you all, happy holidays and have a wonderful new year.
In my A.U with Henry, when Charlie's death happened, he was SO busy with work and making sure that at least his daughter's birthday was the best one (and because he was concentrating on that he didn't realize that Charlie would be kicked out of the restaurant). and Charlie (in the restaurant and before the incident) was bullied by other kids who considered her to be a "spoiled brat" for being the daughter of one of the founders of a very popular pizzeria (this thanks to Elizabeth who was jealous of Charlie for having a better father-daughter relationship than her) With my Elizabeth, she was and is currently a “people-pleaser” (and more so with William) since she always believes that if she does what others want, she will automatically receive something in return (in the case of William, she wants him to at least give her love and appreciation even if he is very busy with work), when she died in CBPW her people-pleasing tendencies worsened since her soul was powered by the circus baby programming (hence her obsession and her lack of hesitation in obeying William in everything, she obeys him as much because of her programming as because of her accommodating side) I don't know if it makes sense but that's what my AU has based on what I always research. Lol
FR!! Even if he was real, bro would be either a *teen or a young adult mentally* due to being dead while Mike, who legit always looked baby-faced bc I guess the creators just couldn't make older people which I kinda understand w/ Gacha Life, who is at least in his *50s' or 60s'.* Also, there's highly likely other damn *kids* in Ennard! Like, I loathe the way kids dismissed the Mennard criticism by just ignoring that last part & just using "Noah" & the fact that Elizabeth got kicked out & that Ms. Afton -highly likely if not just- does not possess Ballora! I admit that I used to be an ally of this ship, but it drives me crazy in hindsight.
I did not know about henry being a neglectful father, but I guess it was obvious since Puppet's existence is basically just a babysitter(I think?) Thanks for this! It was helpful for me personally as a writer and a fan as well, and this video will be in my head whenever I plan on making FNAF content(If I get the motivation lmao)
I loved the video but I have ADHD so I had to re-watch it since all I heard the first time around was: "and then, *ai takes breath*, they are just little pixilated, *huh deep breath* characters, *huuuuh* made with one color"
This is very true- especially the not taking a serious topic seriously part. In some AUs, William will abuse Micheal HUGELY. And later William will just half heartedly apologize and all Micheal does is smile and accept it. Not much thought is put into it- but when people ACTUALLY take it seriously and make sure to treat it lightly and take notice of what abuse actually is, it definitely can be taken more seriously by viewers.
yeah i agree- there was a channel i watched that was basically that, and i would love whenever he apologized and they would share a nice hug 😭 then i realized how not wholesome, but messed up it was-
I agree with all of this so hard omg, I can't believe we are having the "canon au" conversation in 2024 😭 it's like people don't know what the term AU is also somebody who also thinks ppl can ship the suits of the animatronics!! people always assume that if someone ships any of the suits theyre also shipping the souls, but the souls themselves are hardly ever portrayed as the suits they're in and viceversa in this fandom, I never understood why ppl assume the worst when it comes to that
THANK YOU. I see too much "Innocent UmU William is too scary for me!" for too long." Sure I don't mind if someone does it but we need more morally grey Henry, like the actions he took in fnaf 6 by trapping his daughter in Lefty (And no she cannot escape, it is designed to keep her trapped because he thought the puppet was dangerous due to fnaf 2) and the fact he just burned Michael without even knowing if Michael REALLY wanted to burn, Elizabeth makes it clear Michael didn't even KNOW who employed him and Henry talks in the end like he expected a random person to take the job or for Michael to move on with his own life.
I strongly agree with the au thing because in mine William took cc from the hospital in some way and started experimenting with cc to try and find ways to immortality and bring his son back. When the missing children incident happened, he said that cc had also went missing around the same time. The incident is like a string of disappearances instead of straight up five or six children going missing at the same time.
@@yummersgreek that sounds super cool, and really unique! I have a similar thing with my AU with the missing kids, they disappeared months apart from each other, because personally, it logically doesn’t make sense to Me!
@@TheKlownKid I also believe cc's name to be Cassidy if anything because "Cassidy" is a gender-neutral name and I find it to make sense in my au due to the fact that the whole thing that happened to him would make him a vengeful spirit even though he doesn't remember why.
OMG! William trying to revive Crying Child is my favourite thing!!! :3 (I am MikeVictim believer and MikeBot is overused in MikeVictim, so I use MikeRevival!! Making Mike being revived in my AU!! >_
I am fine with fnaf OCs but I generally hate the AUs that have those from a whole different fandom and make them Aftons, it doesn't make sense at all to add them as they have different story lines and stuff Examples: Izuku Afton, Kasuki Afton, Marrienette Afton (not sure if I spelled the last first name right), it doesn't work with fnaf to add them in there because they're an entirely different fandom altogether
@LavenderTheBookOsbessedNerd yes, thank you, I didn't feel like referring to Google and that's exactly what I'm talking about, people shouldn't put characters from other fandoms into the afton family, it just doesn't make sense story wise
@@Stormy_Echos I feel the exact same way. And then they don't even attempt to develop some sort of reason why it would work. Just a basic "oh *insert character* was in hiding or just keeping it a secret" to validate it. What about the character's family from their actual fandom? Why are they living with them as their child if they're "actually" an Afton? As you stated, it doesn't make sense to begin with. I could maybe (and I'm stretching the maybe) see some hypothetical connection or neat idea for it as an AU if they gave a proper backstory or explanation. But, they don't. It reminds me of the "characters from *insert fandom* react to *insert chraacter*'s life as *another character from another fandom*" reaction type videos. Thankfully, this sort of thing has died off for the most part.
@LavenderTheBookOsbessedNerd fr, like, I get maybe crossover videos from two different fandoms or one fandom reacting to a different fandom (as a whole not just one character) because that's always interesting to see but like you said, they put no real reason that lines up when they mash those fandoms together
THANK YOU, I AGREE AND THE FANDOM NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT AUS, ECT 😭😭 Also people need to understand that it's not because it was the 80s that it's okay to maie everyone homophobic or have p3dophilia, ect. Scott literally said himself that he doesn't like people associating that with fnaf.
1. The books follow a different story but they are CANON. A reimagined FNAF story. Books are not canon to the games. Games are not canon to the books. Different stories. Books are canon but not to be used to explain or even talk about game lore.
2. Comment isnt showing or got deleted. Here is what Scott said (comment that I wrote but cant see): Is the book canon? I just wanted to talk about this a little bit to put everyone's mind at ease. I've gotten a lot of e-mails complaining that the book doesn't match up with one or more of the games. Even some of the reviews on Amazon chatise the book for not matching the games, something that i should have explained very early on is that the book is NOT intended to solve anything. It's not intented to be a guide for the games, or to fill in gaps. The games are what they are, and as I stated before, that story is finished. Something that I said in one of the forum threads about this, is that sometimes the lore of something can become so crowded that you can't tell an original story anymore. The games and the books should be considered to be separate continuities, even if they do share many familiar elements. So yes, the book is canon, just as the games are. Thst doesn't mean that they are intended to fit togheter like two puzzle pieces. I would actually ask anyone wanting to read the book, even if you are a devout fan of the games, to read the book for the sake of enjoying the book, and don't try to "solve" anything. The book is a re-imagining of the Five Night's at Freddy's story, and if you go into it with that mindset, I think you will really enjoy it! :)
3:16 I personally have seen this more with Michael, even in my own old self. With William, I only ever see people saying “he killed kids, but oh well! Who cares, he’s ‘hot’.” (Eugh) But for Michael, I think instead of excusing the stuff he did as envy or trauma or whatever, it’s more important to acknowledge and understand the “fact” (since barely anything is canon lol) that Michael recognized he did something wrong. That he knows he’s a bad person, and doesn’t forgive himself for it even if others do. You can absolutely hate him for what he did, and honestly, you SHOULD hate what he did even if you love him as a character. (Also personally, I think Mike still was envious, but I’m talking about when people will use it to justify what he did to C.C.-) Edit: I also would like to add to the Henry thing, that I feel a good way to describe him is he loved his kids, but he was unknowingly neglectful. Still doesn’t make him a good person, tho
THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABT THE OCS THING! Like, I don't get why ppl get so mad about them? It's just a character that was added to someone's NON-CANON universe to make the thing more interesting and bc they liked the idea, it's not that big of a deal :(
I've been in this part of the fandom for a while too, from the content creation angle and the viewer angle and something that really bugs me is C.C.'s characterisation. It always seems so monotonous and same-y in most of the videos I've seen. People don't try anything new with the guy and just keep dragging the 'child turned angry psycho' thing with him too (just this time without any depth),,, I've seen a few good ones that give C.C. a more nuanced character but a lot of them just seemed to be used only to push Michael's main character status forward,,, Didn't mean for this to turn into a rant comment or whatever but i needed to get it out (@_@)
I was 9 when I discovered fnaf! Everytime I make a fnaf au I scrap it because my autistic brain goes "Oooo New AU idea" and I just scrap it all- How do you stick with an au for so long?
My only au that’s stayed the same is my security breach AU where the Glamrock’s (EXCEPT BONNIE) were all programmed to be siblings, Gregory is a human child from a not-so-good-home that he was kicked out of, DJMM can only communicate through remixed clips of lyrics in the songs he plays, and instead of just one Eclipse (the one we saw in ruin) in the daycare attendant(who also are siblings), it’s 3; Eclipse (ruin DLC) Lunar (A softer variant of Moon with the task of healthcare for the children) And Solar (Basically that old Eclipse the entire fandom flocked to when we saw the glitched Sun face in the Balloon world minigame) 💀💀 AND EVEN THEN I KEEP ADDING ONTO IT- because I keep thinking of OC’s💀 like I literally just added “Gloom” the dog last night after my friend bought me an adoptable-OC for Christmas…😭
It's funny how people obsess over making things canon when we barely understand anything about FNAF canon. Deviating from canon shouldn't be an issue in this fandom. We barely have anything to go off of to begin with, so might as well have fun creating AUs to explain things our own way
I Like the video and Agree with all your takes so I wanted to add one that annoys me! So, the 'stuffing the children in the animatronic suits' thing really annoys me because in almost all the au's I've seen (especially after the movie came out) make it so that William stuffed the kids in the suits and as you said, it's an au so in general I have no problem/really like it when they deviate from canon/insert their own ideas, BUT in almost all cases (probably because it's so popular) they act as if it is canon and it just annoys me when a thing that isn't canon appears in SO MANY different aus because sometimes I just don't know if they just like that for their au or if they think it's canon. I mean the fnaf fandom already has so few actually canon things and then to act as if the mini-game of the puppet 'giving' the dead kid their suits doesn't exist just kind of make me mad whenever I see it because we literally SEE the Puppet place the animatronics heads on the dead kids, so If I'm not stupid and those are 4 other dead kids, the Puppet was the one to stuff the kids in the animatronics. Again I don't mind/like changes to canon, but when 1 specific change happens SO often, that you see less canon (especially if the canon actually exists and is this 'obvious') than this au, idk it just makes me rage a bit
Yes! You did an amazing job with explaining it! You used CONSTRUCTIVE criticism which a lot of people tend to forget exists and just tend to slander other peoples work and be insensitive about certain subjects. You made your statements clear and made sure people would understand what you were saying. I mean you even wrote a script like damn this is an amazing vid! You did an amazing job
As someone who's been in the FNAF fandom since early childhood and has left the community a long time ago, i HIGHLY agree with almost all of these statements-
Fr, Cassidy, Elizabeth, C.C and sometimes the missing children gets so often demonised and even bases their entire personality to being angry all the time.
This is my personal opinion (and kinda might be stupid of me), but i think if an AU has Cassidy being more stubborn (not demonized pls) because the others want rest and Cassidy still wants to torture William, is something thats fine if done correctly (idk if that makes sense). Also from an opinion stand point, i do agree with pretty much everything in the video! Although I'm a bit 50/50 about changing skin tones too much if the character has a canon look. Thats my personal opinion tho lol. Have a nice day tho! :3
also about William Afton and the trauma excuse: _is there a canon game or book that states he had any negative experiences before his killing spree in the first place?? as far as we only have about him he might have always just been a psycho_
No there isn’t The best we have is that he was a semi sane person before the child murder but got driven down a path of envy and jealousy, but that is very speculative
My son does this gacha thing. to avoid hate comments on the skin tones things, he makes the robots skin a lighter color of their fur color in the games, and their hair the fur color. (so bonnie has purplish hair and lavender skin). for human designs, he usually just does canon or whatever fits his uh... 'AU' or whatever. He wrote the whole au thing down in a book. It's like 100 pages...
@@CagneyMcfadzen that is completely understandable! I hope your son continues to grow his own little channel! If he has it written down in a book and it’s around 100 pages, I’m sure your son will grow up to be very creative!
@@TheKlownKid He's... actually 17... not much growing to do... He also started this really low budget indie show or something. the channel is CandJstudios i think. has a freddy icon. That's where all his gacha, animation, and random sh*tposts are.
@@TheKlownKid 10 views in 5 days for the teaser. Although it was copyright struck... so... that might be why. He says he's gonna try to fix it for when the full pilot comes out. If you watch the teaser, just a warning, it's really.... odd...? It's like... weirdcore or something? like there's just... floating stuff in a void at one point. it's supposed to look like a really strange computer game that's like... corrupted or haunted or something.
I don't care if I start an argument, I gotta say this: The books take place in a different continuity. So while they are cannon, they're in their own universe. It's similar to the movie. It's cannon, but not the same events. Essentially, an AU made by the official creators
all of your points is the reason why i absolutely love the theory by The dual process theory. their video made me come back to the fandom, even inspiring me to make an animatic someday like, i have so many ideas thanks to their video and the fnaf songs ive been listening to lately, i only wish that I wasn't that lazy and made the animatic for real 😭
The Cassidy & the missing children demonization one is so real, like, they have the right to kill / torture their murderer, and the fact people sympathize with William??? Look, i know bro’s a fictional character, but this type of shit lowkey happens irl. People will go through many loopholes or reaches to justify murders that happen, justifying reasons why or that the victim did something bad previously, it’s fucked up. But thank you for pointing out the fandoms demonization of Cassidy & The Missing Children, Especially Cassidy, they be treating her like she the second spawn of satan when she’s just a dead little girl reacting to how she was murdered & towards her murderer being well, violent. And i wouldn’t blame her for such behavior, as anyone would want justice, especially children getting killed who did nothing wrong.
Also i am kind of annoyed how literally everything in fnaf gacha is about the aftons like bro there are 300+ characters in the games alone and yet people only seem to make videos and angst about these characters only, it's so annoying.
5:51 thank you for this because in one of my personal AUs the aftons have five bio kids + Mike/foxybro being a foster kid, I've seen so many people hate on others for having OC's or adding more characters it's infuriating 😭
I agree with most of this, but we have to remember that we can’t change them to an extent, even if it is an AU, because they’re Scott Cawthon’s characters not ours. Scott endorses fan games, which are basically fan fictions, so I don’t really care about OCs (Mostly). I also get annoyed when people think it’s okay to make a white character black but then it’s not okay to make a black character white? I think both should be bad. Racism isn’t specific to black people, even if it’s more severe for them. I’m not white myself, but I still think it’s a bit strange that more people don’t talk about it. You could argue that making a white character black wouldn’t change anything because there are no cultural or racial effects made by it, but then making black characters white is deemed wrong no matter the context. I just think both shouldn’t be allowed. And I agree with the rest of your video, especially the demonization of the children. I hate people who even make alive Elizabeth a friendless psycho even though she hadn’t even died yet.
@@Melroseyyy to me, A lot of these characters in game canon, do not have substance/personalities to them so it’s up to the fans to add to them! Maybe this is just me having Undertale as one of my core fandom’s as a child, but I personally think you’re free to do whatever you want with an AU, as long as it sticks to some of the bare bone basics of canon! I’m not gonna comment on the 'race washing' thing as that is a whole other can of worms that I do not have the credentials to comment on. And I do agree on that last bit about making Elizabeth a sociopathic friendless person when alive
@ Yeah I’m aware of that, I’m just talking about when they’re unrecognizable as characters anymore lol. And I love seeing FNAF OCs, I don’t understand why they get the hate. And yeah that’s probably for the better. It’s a complicated issue and probably needs a complicated response.
FINALLY, SOMEONE SAID SOMETHING❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Edit: this sorta stuff happens in different things like dandy's world, i mean, some people are hating a character thats NOT EVEN OUT YET.😭😭😭
I like that you bring up the problem with people saying William has “trauma” and then using it as an excuse for literal CM. In my AU, he was actually investigated by the police, and they found mountains worth of evidence against him. Authorities wont just say “Oh? You had a bad childhood? Okay! I guess we just won’t arrest you~!❤️”
Ikr like they give him trauma and he’s like “guys I just..(insert trauma here) that’s why I killed you all” and then his family is all like “I FORGIVE YOU FOR KILLING US AND ALL THOSE KIDS :D!!!😇😇😇” like hello? 😭😭😭😭
That's why i have William a bad trauma but was used as tactic to make everyone feel sympathy. That's actually how some of famous serial killers used that methods.
The AU part reminds me when this one person in a game got upset on why I made my Elizabeth black but I was lazy to tell them why so I said “It’s not canon” and they fr said “Ok good” and I was fr like HELLO?! WTF DOES “Ok good” MEAN?!
2:53 I feel like an age gap is okay, as long as the character is above the age of eighteen and we’re not shipping 70 year olds with people who just became an adult. Age gaps kind of vary from person to person(and I know you said this was your opinion) but I just wanted to tell you mine. I personally feel like an age gap like 15 years is morally acceptable and that’s because it depends on the person. I just don’t feel that it is necessary to point out age gaps because I don’t want anyone to feel bad if they have a relationship with an age gap. I’ve met(or more accurately seen in person) a couple that had a ten(give or take) year age gap, and they were really sweet to each other. Sorry for the rant, I just felt like saying this. Also, I LOVE YOUR DESIGN FOR YOUR OC. You leaned into the semi-realistic and I love it!
I love the fnaf fandom, but tbh, i got sick and tired of it only being about the Afton family or the missing kids. Thats why im barely interacting with it, its just the same thing to me...😕
I remember when I came in the FnaF fandom when SB came out, I immediately became obsessed with the Ennard x Micheal / Noah/Ennard x Micheal ship 💀 I eventually grew out of it (thank god), and the only moments where I appreciate the ship is when the charas are good and it’s not weird. (There was also a time where I shipped CC x Nightmare x Nightmare Fredbear, but we don’t talk about this)
I honestly hate the whole Elizabeth liking icecream post death thing to be honest. Like, I feel like a thing people don’t talk about enough with ghosts of people who died in accidents is that if they ever saw something that reminded them of what happened, they would probably freak out! This is likely worse for children. You can’t tell me that the ghost of a child who had their life taken from them in an accident would see something associated with what happened and not start freaking out because of the memories. I don’t think Elizabeth would like icecream after she died due to the memories that it would cause her to have. But I don’t know, everybody sees ghosts differently I guess.
The AU thing has always been weird to me but I'm starting to have a more open mind about things, especially AUs and ships I don't agree with. In my opinion, the only time AUs are truly 'bad' is when the creator is using it as an excuse to age up characters for a ship or ship characters with a child/adult, etc. weird stuff like that. Especially on the aged up stuff. It's always been so gross to me how their excuse as to why they can ship a child with an adult is because they aged the child up, and that it's their 'AU'
These are all really valid but also I LOVE your style! One of my top recommended posts after this was showing off your designs, plus the one we saw in this video?? They're absolutely GORGEOUS!!! They look really huggable too
0:37 I agree with this so much because I literally made an animatronic a human, and my brother literally asked me “why is he black?” And I literally yelled at him. Because he was acting me to make the character white. But I feel the character looked better with darker skin, and I liked how it looked… racist little 8-year-old 🥲
while it wasn't ok for him to try and force you to make the character white, I feel like it would've been better to explain to him why that isn't ok and why we shouldn't force people to change the race of characters, instead of yelling at him and stuff.
5:30 Yeah I have a few ocs. They are often just chilling and not really attacking others. One is a more realistic looking fox that’s a pirate with foxy, named Rocky and another one is a poodle moth that’s works at the daycare in security breach named floof and my last is my oldest one who is just a black cat with purple markings with draconic features for the fun of it as kids mangled her up a bit and the employees just fixed her up that way just named midnight. I loved these characters a lot and rather not have to never share them
Im gotta be honest, when this video got recommended to me at first, im thought it was a generic video pointing all the same arguments and saying the fnaf gacha community sucks, and this content is *C WORD* but its actually a good video, and im glad im was wrong and im glad im agree with this video a lot, but uhhhhh, there was some points you forgot to add that im honestly hates such as: Trying following the "canon": using the most acceptable theorys possible, and using books or movies as a reason for the characters designs and personalitys, which tecnically is not bad, but uhhhhh, use books or movies to say that all they show is canon things is incorrect, since both movie both books are not completly canon sooo yea. Demonizating the tormentors, some fnaf 4 neighborhood kids and innocenting Michael: ok, this one is like the same you sayed in the video but with different characters, like, demonizating the tormentors and some other fnaf 4 characters (specially pigtail girl) and saying that they never felt bad for cc death in 1983 is such a stupid thing, because in fnaf 4 ending, we can see all the tormentors stoping laughing after cc died, and people saintifing Michael is just stupid, like ok, it was a accident, he doent want to kill hes brother, but that dont mean the bully he made was not on purpose, and about the Pigtail Girl, nothing to much to say, im personally hate when au's dont explore more of this lost fnaf characters such as the fnaf 4 kids and phone guy for example, and honestly, Pigtail Girl have two intepretations: the jerk and the nice girl, where or she bullied cc or she was friends with him, but everyone thinks she was a bully with him, but its a intepretation of the character that was not that explored and its a AU, alternative universe. Flanderization with William: this one is one thing that im doent like at all, it makes William (who is in my opnion a very destroyed character with the time) become worse than he canon (in terms of quality/contructed story) like, im dont hate people making William being a good thing IF for example, some controvesarys aus where make him being controlled by Glitchtrap or whatever, YumaCGacha made a good job with this concept (even if have somethings that people from the community hates such as William x Henry) or maybe better, if you thought im sayed $$h1t here, soo make he have a good reason to kill, but dont justify at all, like mr peterson from hello neighbor that have a good reason to do he stuff but the game never justify hes action, make like, WIlliam lost CC and become a murder for this reason for trying to bring he back together or something, but dont justify he action, but at least you can understand why he is like this or something, im not saying bad person WIlliam aus is bad, im saying that you can make good William au if it is good constructed. And honestly, if someone is asking what is my favorite au that im surely recommend is: DayTheOracle channel, you guys will not gotta regret, her channel (im guess it is a girl) made a excelent content, where no one is completly bad but no one is completly good at the same time, and hers au is super interesting to watch, and trust me, im lose time by watching soo many videos that I would like to admit
Theres also another thing that im love and hate, this being William provocating and being annoying, because this made you hate and dislike he more, and makes you angry because in 99% of aus no one does nothing to made him shut up or something
Never in my life i ever agree that much with someone damn. You're so damn right, i HATE how much every person in this fandom became TOO obssesed with the canon. IT'S YOUR OWN AU YOU CAN MAKE WHATEVER YOU WANT!! PUT ALL THE SHIPS YOU WANT!! GIVE THE CHARACTERS THE AGE YOU WANT!! DO WHATEVER THE FCK YOU WANT, IS YOUR AU!!!
4:45 i work with children every week and fr there are some children that are literally demons but still, they are children, if they act like that smt must have happen maybe at home or at school. sometimes THOSE children that are literally little demons are the one that just want an adult (or someone older (I'm a teen)) attention and when u give them attention they usually are the sweetest childs 😭🙏 usually i get so angry when people make Cassidy and Elizabeth act like they are some evil ahh demon, like bfr they can act mean etc for what happen to them but they are still children 😭😭🙏
In my AU, I’ve never shipped the kids cuz like, no- But I do make them have tiny crushes sometimes! (But they all went away after deaths) It’s only like 2 ppl anyways (both one-sided, and both now dead.) I hope that isn’t that weird, they’re like 9-10 so it isn’t super romantic or smt like that!! (If it is super weird though, I can get rid of them! They don’t serve any major parts anyways, just tiny details.)
3:50 I don’t have videos of my head canons/au, but I do think that when William in my au apologised and asked for forgiveness he says ‘I am sorry. And I know that my actions were wrong… even though i have trauma, I know it’s no excuse, and I also realise that your deaths should not have driven me to abuse you mentally and physically, and even murder children.’ Of course, no one forgives him, but they have given him another chance
I have nothing to object, all you said was absolutely true, and we too are trying to learn, and we too hold an AU(a few actualy later)and we hope to do our best and not end up as a disturbing pile -ExE
I feel like whitewashing micheal is wierd bc they always claim to be mikebro au and make him look "close to canon" yet the decide the skin colour is the only thing that has to be changed.
@@TheCureeeI made my teen Micheal tanned and older him pale (He’s magical/j) Idrk why, maybe he used a fake tan as a kid, or because he’s been inside more, or maybe even he wasn’t taking care of himself right as he older (cuz family deaths and yk)
I’ve always thought of the Afton kids as mixed tbh, black + white. Ppl have gotten mad at me for having a black Mrs. Afton, even though she doesn’t even really canonically exist 😭
@@EnbyBee the *only* time where I get even remotely bothered over skin color is when the Bonnie & Chica bullies' skin are brightened up / *legit white*; they may not have much character, per say, but they are some of the only confirmed POCs in the main series of games so far - other than some other FNaF 4 kids & Cassie from Ruins. That & the characters actually get used as characters in many AUs - & are seemingly the only ones to get that treatment, so it legit feels a bit worse. Thankfully, I don't even see that happen too much anymore with Mike & Freddy Bully even having their tans on top of the whole diversifying & raceswapping thing with some characters. (:
3:25 my William has trauma, BUT I just use it as an explanation, not an excuse. What he did was still horrible, and his past is only there to show why he turned out that way. He’s not meant to pitied.
Okay, but I agree with the AU. It's so annoying when people are all like "Oh, that's not canon! You can't do that!" Like, girlypop, I know it's not canon. THAT'S THE POINT OF AN AU
deadass. My au cc=cassidy, and context: he survived the bite but was severly brain damaged, and needed constant care, until 85' william got sick of him and banged his head against the wall until he died, and william claimed he died to his injuries. Thats why hes so vengful, especially since he saw charlies death before the bite, william LITERALLY started eating her infront of him until the puppet came, and yk how many people have said "ERM ACKSHUALLY, THATS NOT CANON, YOU CANT DO THAT!1!!!1!!!!!1!1!!111"
Cool review of the fandom. I don't agree with everything, but that's to be expected given differences in perspective. I'll just leave my opinion here in case you cared to read. But anyways, nice video. 1. SHIPPING I can understand if it makes you uncomfortable, but realistically There is nothing wrong with a 15+ year age gap as long as it is two consenting adults. There are literally relationship age gaps of over 40 years. And not as many of them are unhealthy as they make it out to be in media either. We only hear about all the unsuccessful age gaped relationships because those are the people who want to talk about their personal life. Furthermore, shipping the children isn't even weird until people start acting as if children having crushes and blushing somehow means you are se-ualizing them. Which makes zero sense since cartoons on TV portray minor relationships all the time and it is anything but illegal to acknowledge that children can start to develop romantic feelings, even if they don't truly understand the seriousness of being in a real relationship that adults would have. Even parents borderline ship their kids when mothers are gossiping about how adorable it would be if their son and daughter ended up calling in love because of how close they are as children and what not. Also, considering how sideways the world has been going, I unfortunately don't think we are too far away from people dating robots IRL lol. Shts going wild in the modern era with AI and humanoid robots, so I can hardly even blame people for shipping humans with the robots... Real life ain't much better at this point.. 😅 2. FLANDERIZATION I find calling people's idea of certain FNAF characters flanderization to be a little contradictory considering that the characters are literally given little to no canon personality in the games. Scott never went heavy on giving his Characters personality past their general traits since it doesn't mean anything for the story to flesh them out that much anyways. So it doesn't exactly make sense to call something that was never fleshed out to begin with flanderized. That is, unless you are saying Scott did so with his own characters. If people want to take all the minimal character traits given to us in canon and just use that as the characters general canon personality, it can hardly be flanderized when that is legitimately all the characters are portrayed to be. Unless we ARE supposed to take personalities from the "non-canon books". Of course, I love giving Characters complex personality traits, but the amount of kids in the fandom, who probably aren't even old enough to be exposed to FNAF if we are being honest, aren't gonna know sht about good character writing lol. Elizabeth especially is literally portrayed in both the game and books as a child who wants her father's attention to a rather disturbing level. I mean, even possessing an animatronic and hardly remembering who she is didn't make her forget that she straight up is just obsessed with making her father proud. She flat out said "I will make you proud daddy." In FNAF 6 as though that was the only thing that matters. So yeah, she is obsessed with attention, which is sadly something that can happen to a neglected child. She also did sound a bit like a spoiled child in sister location. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Elizabeth's personality is unfitting of a little girl who wants love, care, and to see a shiny toy she isn't allowed to have, but from what the games give us for her character she isn't exactly portrayed as anything other than a girl who wants attention and doesn't listen. Same way the bite victim got the name Crying Child because that is literally his entire personality as sad as it is for the poor boy who had every reason to be in constant distress. Still, can't deny that the crying came to be 90% of his game personality. 3. BOOKS? About the books btw, while they are highly subjective and unrelated to the games in a lot of ways, Scott himself said that the books CAN be used to clarify a few things in the game storyline. There are many theories and highly supported connections between the game and books that are direct parallels of each other. For instance, UCN is a parallel of the one book where Andrew torments William in a perma-hell while he is hospitalized. Heck, the Stitchwraith story is a parallel to a huge amount of game story situations. Such as; (1) Being similar to Ennard (2) Pretty much where all Golden Duo theories get their steam, as this story I believe is the one that introduced the idea of multiple souls possessing an animatronic. So if you believe in multi-soul possession, then ya gotta acknowledge the book connection that made it a possibility to begin with. (3) The Cassidy/TOYSNHK/Vengeful spirit thing got out of hand directly because of how many people misinterpreted his/her existence. After all, the design people most use as "vengeful spirit Cassidy" is literally the design a little girl was said to have when she possesses Bonnie. Not to mention Scott has only even seemed to make the Golden Freddy spirit or vengeful spirit male in 99% of his stories, Andrew/Fnaf Movie kid/ Michael Brooks. People basically just decided screw all those other examples, female Cassidy with black hair in pigtails is our vengeful spirit regardless of all the evidence against it. (4) The explanation of what Remnant/Agony is and how it is used to revive souls in some way. All this and more came from the books, as the games don't have a lot of explanation for anything most times. So yeah, I'd argue the books are canon to the games in terms of world building, even if the stories are obviously not canon to the games since they are all portraying the characters in completely different ways. The world building elements of multi-soul possession, Eleanor, Remnant/Agony, Vengeful spirits, Cassidy, and more for the most part all came from the books and directly either parallel or are part of the games, so that seems deliberately pretty canonas things Scott took as book concepts for the game. But hey, as far as I've always considered it, the FNAF story as a whole has no true canon. Scott basically creates AUs out of his own concepts all the time. It is why we have like 50 different potential names for the crying child, why the Golden Freddy spirit is like 6 different kids, why new sht like the mimic came out of nowhere. The FNAF franchise at this point is like one big mega AU of Scott's ideas being glued together based on what he feels may makes sense most likely, so I hardly even think anything is canon anymore and that people should just enjoy the story and characters however they want.
@Somesomeso thank you for taking the time to write out a very thought out response to my video!! I would like to clarify some of my points however! 1. Shipping I understand that realistically there’s nothing wrong with 15+ age gaps, personally, I don’t have an issue with them in real life, it’s just how in media they’re usually portrayed and how they’re usually portrayed in gacha videos! I think there is a difference between children having crushes on each other and shipping them together, I don’t have problems with people shipping the children as long as it’s not s-xual. I just won’t be showing romantic relationships with characters under the age of 12, especially since you can get weird comments on videos like that. 2, Flanderization I mainly talking about when people make one thing they do/like they’re only personality trait. I do agree that Scott hasn’t given us some fully fleshed out characters- but I feel like the fandom should be able to expand and add to The characters if they don’t have proper personalities! I do agree that a lot of the kids in the fandom probably don’t know anything about good character writing lol I do agree with that in canon. I mainly meant the people who just made those three core aspects of her character, the only thing about her instead of making her something past her father! I personally like making characters fleshed out/kinda realistic (can you make anything in Fnaf realistic lol?) 3, Books I was mainly talking about the silver eyes trilogy, not the newer books. (Frankly, I don’t really want to touch those because of how crazy they are-) I really dislike the silver eyes books. Mainly for how they characterize different characters! And how people can confuse if they’re canon or not, even though they take place in a separate Continuity, which is probably what I should’ve specified instead of canon. To conclude, you are 100% correct that there is no true canon to Fnaf. These were mainly my points from what I’ve seen in the gacha community. I don’t expect people to be perfect and fit my exact mould on what I would want to see in their videos. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to write your comment, I hope you have a nice day :)
@@TheKlownKid Cool. Again, I understand what you were saying and just wanted to share my own thoughts as well. I think it is good for people in a fandom to be able to debate with each other and understand different perspectives instead of just arguing about who's right and who's wrong all the time. Thank you as well for sharing your thoughts. I also hope nothing I said came off as any way outspoken and that you have a good day/night too. 😊👍
@@Somesomeso no no, you didn’t come off as any way outspoken! I just felt like I should clarify my points in case of any confusion :] (I’m autistic and tend to overexplain lol)
@@BerrilolxoxChildhood crush and romantic relationship are sorta different you know. Childhood crush are basically incomplete... I'll just copy from CHATGPT to learn difference. The difference between a childhood crush and a romantic relationship lies in the depth of connection, emotional maturity, and mutual commitment involved: Childhood Crush Nature: Often one-sided and based on admiration or infatuation. Basis: Usually focuses on superficial traits (e.g., looks, talent, or personality quirks). Intensity: Feelings are strong but often fleeting. Development: Typically lacks a deeper emotional or physical connection. Commitment: Rarely involves mutual understanding or long-term intentions. Context: Common during early years as part of emotional and social development. Romantic Relationship Nature: Mutually agreed upon and built on shared feelings and intentions. Basis: Involves emotional, intellectual, and sometimes physical attraction. Intensity: More enduring, with deeper emotional bonds. Development: Includes communication, shared experiences, and trust. Commitment: Often involves exclusivity and long-term goals. Context: Typically happens with greater emotional maturity and understanding. A childhood crush is often a stepping stone toward understanding romantic feelings, while a romantic relationship requires a mutual commitment and deeper connection.
i haven’t made a video ab the missing children in a year but if i do again i might actually take this advice lol cause it makes sense now that i think ab it 💀💔
As a Willy's Wonderland TikTok creator, I often face frustrating comments. Some say, "Willy Weasel looks like a girl," since I portray him as trans in my AU. Others insist "Willy can't beat the FNAF animatronics," but he's a cannibalistic killer, and the FNAF characters are mostly kids. The Tito x Liv ship bothers me; Tito is a dead adult and Liv is a living teenager. I get criticized for adding depth to Willy or for shipping him with Siren Sara instead of Cammy Chameleon, even though the creator is okay with it. Lastly, people call Willy's Wonderland a FNAF rip-off, despite it originally being a 2012 short film, Wally's Wonderland. It’s really frustrating! I ended up leaving the FNAF fandom cause of how they treated us Willy's Wonderland fans though
Hi! I just wanted to tell you Elizabeth’s personality is the same as in the books and in games. From the line “I will make you proud daddy” makes people believe she acts like this in the game universe too :) hope this clears misunderstanding from you and your viewers.
@@MyStarryRainbowPrettyCures she was different in sister location, you can tell the difference between how she is in sister location than how she is in Fnaf 6 What I was saying in my points about Elizabeth is making her one dimensional and that being her only personality trait, it’s fine if people want her to make her father proud, I have that in my own AU, but I feel like that should not be her only personality trait! Just to clarify my points ^^
The fandom is just really bad with characterization in general. Cassidy isn't shown to be vengeful; Micheal is more indifferent to the horrors he sees, like being scooped an "oh damn," Vibe.
My Elizabeth hates ice cream. It reminds her when she got killed. So she doesn't eat ice cream anymore. And then i have a few ocs like Velena, Mike's Wife. And we have Noah(might change name idk) who posses Ennard with Lizzy, Noah didn't really think taking advantage of Mike's body was a good idea nor killing him so he tried apologizing while also sticking around so Mike can do stuff and Mike got attached to the kid and basically kinda adopted him like in the future he did with Gregory. Then we have Eliza CC and Lizzy's bio mom and Williams dead ex(he killed her) and then we have Mikes bio dad and Mrs Aftons Dead ex husband. And ig Mrs Afton would count as an oc.
Everytime I say “my AU” I always add: “Not canon” because obviously mine doesn’t make sense due to three uncanon characters interacting lots with main canon characters
Tbh Glitchtrap is mainly his creation, bro has heavy personality issues and must take responsibility for his funky actions (I say that bc I'm silly not condoning this shi)
ngl this is like the FPE situation- and i seen this one gachatuber who makes fpe aus but the aus are bad because engel is being shipped with adults and making them..uhh..pregnant with engel children..they even did it to the other characters like claire and Zip. i try not to be a bad person but it makes me disgusted because making a minor date and impregnated adults and other minors is simply weird. then the ships are bad as well, i saw art of abbie getting shipped with miss circle and then people making inappropriate art of it as well. even doing it to minors but they use the excuse of “aging them up,” i call it bs because it’s still disgusting. i feel bad for katie because like everytime a new creation comes into this internet world, it gets invaded by r34 artists, weirdos, etc etc. i’m not hating on anyone who does aus or anything similar to this but it gets annoying and makes me disgusted. this is just my opinion.
Warning: Huge yap session Alright, firstly I want to say something about the skin tones. I think it really varies between characters like for example, if i were to make one of the fazbear frights characters that as no canon skin color like Samantha from coming home i think that would be perfectly fine because again she doesn't have a canon skin tone or really a design. I think it would be fine for someone to change the hair or eyes or clothing of the character as long as the skintone is kept the same. But for characters like Cassie, she has a cannon design so it would kind of be weird in the long run for people to whitewash her same with reverse situation. Characters like Charlie I think are fine to change the skin tone because in the minigame she is grey and the books aren't canon. For Henry being not completely innocent, I have to add that I think it could vary depending on au. I think in canon you are completely correct but i've seen aus were 1985 murders happen before Charlie's death and Henry gets arrested because William blames him. Therefore he is in prison, unable to protect his child. Or she couldve not been outside too long in the first place. Potential she was out there for 5 minutes and William saw his chance. I don't know but i think you should let it vary between aus. Other then these small edits i think you did a great job adressing these issues! Have a good day.
They are not part of the games Continuity, which is what I mean by canon! (Mainly talking about the silver eyes books, I honestly don’t wanna touch the mess that is the other books-) To me, personally, they confuse the timeline much more than they answer and it assassinates Elizabeth’s character with how she is portrayed in them
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think we knew where Henry was or what he was doing when Charlie died. I don’t think it’s fair to call Henry neglectful when we don’t know the full story of what happened that night, especially when anyone could have found her and brought her inside. Imo, I think it’s all Williams fault why she died. No hate though! I agree with a lot of your points in this video :)
@AddictedToCats-j8q that is true, but I don’t think she should’ve been left alone in the first place, if he had been watching her I don’t think the events that led up to her death would’ve happened! That’s just me though!
@@AddictedToCats-j8q Many theories lead to the same thing, that Henry was paranoid and wanted to keep her daugther safe (after the murder of the Missing Children) or just him wanting to have someone who babysits her while he is at work.
Yeah, she could've been playing with the other kids while he worked, and they might've locked her outside as a joke and left. It's not fair to assume he's a bad dad. It honestly seems like he resents William for not only killing his daughter but also killing kids and trapping them in suits.
@@-bunz-lolYeah that's always been what I've gone with. It's not uncommon to leave your child alone at a party for children especially when someone you trust is watching them
So real. I honestly have no idea why Cassidy so demonized, like this kid were most mysterious(cassidyvictim or cassidysis theories for example)than angry(in fnaf 3 5th soul just go away like other souls, but not put William in personal hell) Making Henry saint is so funny, like William who made animatronic for his daughter and warned her(it was day they just opened, so he could go to cb w Elizabeth later idk) is bad, but Henry who left his, ~3-7 years old daughter on rainy night is literally hero.(I also can't believe, that Henry didn't know about what William doing, like how would HE know Elizabeth in circus baby? Intuition? Or William had his own dairy or what?) And Elizabeth is just my personal pain. She's my fav character, and she only "daddy will be proud" or "nah, I'm gonna be manipulative brat because I can", I dgaf if someone do this, but she really have no personality at this point..
Tiny little thing to clear things up/make boundaries/answered common question
This is not attacking anybody, if you have something in your AU that I brought up in this video, these are just my personal problems with the GACHA Fnaf Community! (A lot of my problems don’t happen in the fnaf art community from what I’ve seen)
"Why is the AI breathing/taking so many pauses?" I didn’t know how to fix it at the time guys :(
Please don’t ask me for criticisms/thoughts on your Aus unless we are close friends/mutuals. I love how y’all are creative! ^^
"The books are canon!!" They are a separate story, they just use the same characters and are *not canon to the games.* just like how the games *aren’t canon to the books.* that is what I meant when I say 'they are not canon'
No comments on this video will be changing my mind on my points, I will stand firmly with what I said! If you disagree with anything, I have to say, that’s fine, but please do not make an argument in the comments about it
Again, Please don’t argue in the comments :(
Any hateful comments or comments that make myself uncomfortable will be deleted!
Hey so i really like that idea so now I'm gonna steal that /hj
mine likes ice cream bc shes 4 lol. Also William was super fat (canon in the novel until he became insane and unhealthy) and so their was always deserts n stuff in the house, but her brothers woukd eat it before she could bc yk brothers.
tbh my au Elizabeth likes ice cream, but only vanilla and mint! she eats them when she gets rewarded :>
@coffeebombs ooh yummy!!
no bc the first one is so real?? whenever i finish a design i like, i get super duper giddy & the thought of absolutely shitting all over someone who might feel that way about a design they really like makes me feel weird 😭
THANK YOU for saying about the Elizabeth demonization. Idk why but everytime someone makes Elizabeth like that it feels weird to me.
Not only in fandoms but in other sides of the internet I've seen most people using the same excuse of "the murderer having trauma", every time I see or hear people say this just doesn't sit fully right with me, and in general just makes me feel uncomfortable. It *really* doesn't get someone's way out of the horrible crimes they did while at it.
the thing with henry is so real .like just because he's not a murderer like william doesn't automatically make him a good father.
@@sillybuglover This is so real! Henry Emily is Not a good father because he never cares aboute his wife and son after the Charlotte death
He thinks he was the only one suffering with this, He ended up being selfish.
Before I opened this video I believed there will be so many annoying anti-fun opinions that I've been met with in literally EVERY type of video like this. And I was actually pleasantly surprised to see that I actually agree with many/all of your points
Though I got to say a few things because I am too much of a yapper not to
0:47 While I do agree with most of the things stated here, I also believe that IF certain characters have canon skin tones presented in the games or mentioned in the books, then they should stay similar to those in the AUs as well.
It's actually crazy how dependent this fandom is on game theorist to the point they believe everything they say is canon😭
5:36 As someone who's been proudly introducing my own OCs publicly for 2 years now and trying to make them as realistic as possible - I have absolutely no problem with OCs being cringy or Mary Sues. The point of being in a fandom is to have fun, so what if some people like to make OCs who appear to be too perfect or appear to be too cringe? It won't kill anyone
6:12 I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THAT MF FOR WHAT HE DID TO MY BABY SAMMY. Henry apologists p*ss me off.
It seems that your comment asking to make a similar video got deleted by RUclips? Of course you’re free to make a video!! :)
@TheKlownKid HELP ME I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE, TYSM THO
This is the man that murdered her who in their right mind wouldn’t be upset at the fact that they were murdered and their killer got away for years
Literally, many make her a demon because she manipulated and killed about 4 people xd
You are 100% free to share my video! :)
bro wait what i wanna hear more abt ur au pls feed me.
In my A.U with Henry, when Charlie's death happened, he was SO busy with work and making sure that at least his daughter's birthday was the best one (and because he was concentrating on that he didn't realize that Charlie would be kicked out of the restaurant).
and Charlie (in the restaurant and before the incident) was bullied by other kids who considered her to be a "spoiled brat" for being the daughter of one of the founders of a very popular pizzeria (this thanks to Elizabeth who was jealous of Charlie for having a better father-daughter relationship than her)
With my Elizabeth, she was and is currently a “people-pleaser” (and more so with William) since she always believes that if she does what others want, she will automatically receive something in return (in the case of William, she wants him to at least give her love and appreciation even if he is very busy with work), when she died in CBPW her people-pleasing tendencies worsened since her soul was powered by the circus baby programming (hence her obsession and her lack of hesitation in obeying William in everything, she obeys him as much because of her programming as because of her accommodating side)
I don't know if it makes sense but that's what my AU has based on what I always research. Lol
Making Ennard a human and dating micheal

Im so done with NOAH WHO IS NOAH THERE IS NO NOAH
REALEST!!!! im ashamed to say i used to ship this :(
I loved the video but I have ADHD so I had to re-watch it since all I heard the first time around was:
"and then, *ai takes breath*, they are just little pixilated, *huh deep breath* characters, *huuuuh* made with one color"
@@beeghost-44 I know 😭
This is very true- especially the not taking a serious topic seriously part. In some AUs, William will abuse Micheal HUGELY. And later William will just half heartedly apologize and all Micheal does is smile and accept it. Not much thought is put into it- but when people ACTUALLY take it seriously and make sure to treat it lightly and take notice of what abuse actually is, it definitely can be taken more seriously by viewers.
yeah i agree- there was a channel i watched that was basically that, and i would love whenever he apologized and they would share a nice hug 😭 then i realized how not wholesome, but messed up it was-
THESE ARE SO REALLLL OMGG + TY FOR MENTIONING THE FNAF HATE FOR AU CHARACTERS AND THE CHARACTERISTICS 😭😭
I agree with all of this so hard omg, I can't believe we are having the "canon au" conversation in 2024 😭 it's like people don't know what the term AU is
also somebody who also thinks ppl can ship the suits of the animatronics!! people always assume that if someone ships any of the suits theyre also shipping the souls, but the souls themselves are hardly ever portrayed as the suits they're in and viceversa in this fandom, I never understood why ppl assume the worst when it comes to that
@@yummersgreek that’s so cool!!
OMG! William trying to revive Crying Child is my favourite thing!!! :3
(I am MikeVictim believer and MikeBot is overused in MikeVictim, so I use MikeRevival!! Making Mike being revived in my AU!! >_
@omnislash5.0 I love your thinking.
I am fine with fnaf OCs but I generally hate the AUs that have those from a whole different fandom and make them Aftons, it doesn't make sense at all to add them as they have different story lines and stuff
Examples: Izuku Afton, Kasuki Afton, Marrienette Afton (not sure if I spelled the last first name right), it doesn't work with fnaf to add them in there because they're an entirely different fandom altogether
Did you mean "Marinette" from Miraculous? /sincere (not trying to be one of those "erm, actually 🤓👆" people)
@LavenderTheBookOsbessedNerd yes, thank you, I didn't feel like referring to Google and that's exactly what I'm talking about, people shouldn't put characters from other fandoms into the afton family, it just doesn't make sense story wise
@LavenderTheBookOsbessedNerd but yeah, glad it mostly died off
THANK YOU, I AGREE AND THE FANDOM NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT AUS, ECT 😭😭 Also people need to understand that it's not because it was the 80s that it's okay to maie everyone homophobic or have p3dophilia, ect.
4. Anyways. Good video! :)
Agree with everything said in the video tho. Just wanted to talk about my thing about books and the games.
3. TLDR: Games AND Books are separate continuities, even if they share common events.
Books are CANON. Just a different story.
2. Comment isnt showing or got deleted.
Here is what Scott said (comment that I wrote but cant see):
Is the book canon?
That is what I meant with my point! Thank you!! (I also just…hate those books, I do have a statement as to why in one of the comments somewhere-)

I personally have seen this more with Michael, even in my own old self.
With William, I only ever see people saying “he killed kids, but oh well! Who cares, he’s ‘hot’.” (Eugh)
But for Michael, I think instead of excusing the stuff he did as envy or trauma or whatever, it’s more important to acknowledge and understand the “fact” (since barely anything is canon lol) that Michael recognized he did something wrong. That he knows he’s a bad person, and doesn’t forgive himself for it even if others do. You can absolutely hate him for what he did, and honestly, you SHOULD hate what he did even if you love him as a character.
(Also personally, I think Mike still was envious, but I’m talking about when people will use it to justify what he did to C.C.-)
Edit: I also would like to add to the Henry thing, that I feel a good way to describe him is he loved his kids, but he was unknowingly neglectful. Still doesn’t make him a good person, tho
THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABT THE OCS THING! Like, I don't get why ppl get so mad about them? It's just a character that was added to someone's NON-CANON universe to make the thing more interesting and bc they liked the idea, it's not that big of a deal :(
same goes with oc x canon, its a problem in every fandom and i just dont get it, LET PEOPLE HAVE FUNNNN!!!
Extremely true actually i agree with all the points + your oc design is so cute!! im subbing
I've been in this part of the fandom for a while too, from the content creation angle and the viewer angle and something that really bugs me is C.C.'s characterisation. It always seems so monotonous and same-y in most of the videos I've seen. People don't try anything new with the guy and just keep dragging the 'child turned angry psycho' thing with him too (just this time without any depth),,,
I've seen a few good ones that give C.C. a more nuanced character but a lot of them just seemed to be used only to push Michael's main character status forward,,,
Didn't mean for this to turn into a rant comment or whatever but i needed to get it out (@_@)
Ahh,, also your character designs are so swag ^_^
I was 9 when I discovered fnaf! Everytime I make a fnaf au I scrap it because my autistic brain goes "Oooo New AU idea" and I just scrap it all- How do you stick with an au for so long?
I like consistency and I make videos, The consistency from my videos makes it easier for my viewers to watch ^^
I make different aus personally! so I can explore different characters in different way without having to pick one ^^
My only au that’s stayed the same is my security breach AU where the Glamrock’s (EXCEPT BONNIE) were all programmed to be siblings, Gregory is a human child from a not-so-good-home that he was kicked out of, DJMM can only communicate through remixed clips of lyrics in the songs he plays, and instead of just one Eclipse (the one we saw in ruin) in the daycare attendant(who also are siblings), it’s 3;
Eclipse (ruin DLC)
Lunar (A softer variant of Moon with the task of healthcare for the children)
And Solar (Basically that old Eclipse the entire fandom flocked to when we saw the glitched Sun face in the Balloon world minigame) 💀💀
AND EVEN THEN I KEEP ADDING ONTO IT- because I keep thinking of OC’s💀
like I literally just added “Gloom” the dog last night after my friend bought me an adoptable-OC for Christmas…😭
I do this with literally everything fandom under the sun that I’m a part of lol. It’s a never ending loop of FNaF, Little Nightmares, ENA, etc.
It's funny how people obsess over making things canon when we barely understand anything about FNAF canon. Deviating from canon shouldn't be an issue in this fandom. We barely have anything to go off of to begin with, so might as well have fun creating AUs to explain things our own way
@@radioisactive7590 YES, REAL
@@_shadow_3103 100%! I think that’s understandable to be upset when something becomes so popular most people think it’s canon when it’s not!
As someone who long left the fandom this is really well presented also your character is so cute!
i left the fandom like years ago(i still watch a few fnaf gacha videos and gameplay) but i agree with all of them
BEST "things I hate in Gacha Fnaf" Rant I've seen so Far!! I agree with you on all of this
This is my personal opinion (and kinda might be stupid of me), but i think if an AU has Cassidy being more stubborn (not demonized pls) because the others want rest and Cassidy still wants to torture William, is something thats fine if done correctly (idk if that makes sense).
Also from an opinion stand point, i do agree with pretty much everything in the video! Although I'm a bit 50/50 about changing skin tones too much if the character has a canon look. Thats my personal opinion tho lol.
Have a nice day tho! :3
2:22 through 2:27 just reminded of them but we can’t forget those animation of chica fighting mangle over foxy
also about William Afton and the trauma excuse:
_is there a canon game or book that states he had any negative experiences before his killing spree in the first place?? as far as we only have about him he might have always just been a psycho_
No there isn’t
The best we have is that he was a semi sane person before the child murder but got driven down a path of envy and jealousy, but that is very speculative

OKAY WAIT WHY ARE UR OC’S SO CUTE!?
I don't care if I start an argument, I gotta say this:
The books take place in a different continuity. So while they are cannon, they're in their own universe. It's similar to the movie. It's cannon, but not the same events. Essentially, an AU made by the official creators
That's just how I personally see it, given what Scott said back when the Silver eyes was first released about the book and games being cannon
all of your points is the reason why i absolutely love the theory by The dual process theory. their video made me come back to the fandom, even inspiring me to make an animatic someday
like, i have so many ideas thanks to their video and the fnaf songs ive been listening to lately, i only wish that I wasn't that lazy and made the animatic for real 😭
@@Melroseyyy I understand what you mean! I was just adding my thoughts to your comment! :)

How😭🙏💀
@Luna_108-8 ask them not me! 😭😭😭
Remember! AU means Alternate Universe, not Completely Different Universe!!
It does say that in the video!/gen ^^
@ yep I know! It’s just a summary ;)
I’ve gotten comments similar to that, honestly I just delete them! They aren’t worth my time and most of them aren’t asked in good faith!
Thank god! Someone talks about people flanderizing the characters to the point it’s not even fun to watch/look at anymore
I love the fnaf fandom, but tbh, i got sick and tired of it only being about the Afton family or the missing kids. Thats why im barely interacting with it, its just the same thing to me...😕
I remember when I came in the FnaF fandom when SB came out, I immediately became obsessed with the Ennard x Micheal / Noah/Ennard x Micheal ship 💀
I eventually grew out of it (thank god), and the only moments where I appreciate the ship is when the charas are good and it’s not weird.
(There was also a time where I shipped CC x Nightmare x Nightmare Fredbear, but we don’t talk about this)
i agree w this-
I honestly hate the whole Elizabeth liking icecream post death thing to be honest.
Yes! 100% agreed!
Im getting billdip flashbacks. People would just age up dipper or age down bill and suddenly the au was OK? Eurgh.
@rizzlersizzkerdai SAME OMG 😭🙏 Billdip made me DESPISE AUs because I thought that's all they were 💔
@rizzlersizzkerdai i’m sending you my therapy bill for reminding me of that/j
These are all really valid but also I LOVE your style! One of my top recommended posts after this was showing off your designs, plus the one we saw in this video?? They're absolutely GORGEOUS!!! They look really huggable too
5:14 i dont like it if someone says: "uh. The kids are so evil". Like duh. They just want justice and thats understandable
I loved these characters a lot and rather not have to never share them
Im gotta be honest, when this video got recommended to me at first, im thought it was a generic video pointing all the same arguments and saying the fnaf gacha community sucks, and this content is *C WORD* but its actually a good video, and im glad im was wrong and im glad im agree with this video a lot, but uhhhhh, there was some points you forgot to add that im honestly hates such as:
Trying following the "canon": using the most acceptable theorys possible, and using books or movies as a reason for the characters designs and personalitys, which tecnically is not bad, but uhhhhh, use books or movies to say that all they show is canon things is incorrect, since both movie both books are not completly canon sooo yea.
All of these listed are the reasons why I'm not in the FNAF fandom anymore.
Fr especially shipping like how the fuck did a survival horror game spurned into cringe people shipping robots and making them gay

He didn’t say that abuse shouldn’t be depicted, just that it should be handled very carefully
But yeah a lot of gachatubers don’t know how to do that
Never in my life i ever agree that much with someone damn.
4:45 i work with children every week and fr there are some children that are literally demons but still, they are children, if they act like that smt must have happen maybe at home or at school. sometimes THOSE children that are literally little demons are the one that just want an adult (or someone older (I'm a teen)) attention and when u give them attention they usually are the sweetest childs 😭🙏
usually i get so angry when people make Cassidy and Elizabeth act like they are some evil ahh demon, like bfr they can act mean etc for what happen to them but they are still children 😭😭🙏
Why is the ai taking breaths….. O.O
@@thejaguarsultima2655 I didn’t know how to fix it at the time 😭
In my AU, I’ve never shipped the kids cuz like, no- But I do make them have tiny crushes sometimes!
Kids irl have crushes all the time!! I feel like that's perfectly fine.
Someone got mad at me because I gave young Michael a streak of purple in his hair-💀
Yes when I make Michael I always make him keep his tan from fnaf4 even as an adult, pale Michael doesn’t look right to me anymore 😭
@@TheCureee frfr lets leave that in 2021...
@@TheCureeeI made my teen Micheal tanned and older him pale (He’s magical/j) Idrk why, maybe he used a fake tan as a kid, or because he’s been inside more, or maybe even he wasn’t taking care of himself right as he older (cuz family deaths and yk)
As someone who is both a gachatuber and a fnaf lover, I 100% agree with all of what you said here!!!
Haha mate I don't make gacha videos but I don't think I'll.do well then!
About 45% of my fnaf ocs are black/mixed😅
3:25 my William has trauma, BUT I just use it as an explanation, not an excuse. What he did was still horrible, and his past is only there to show why he turned out that way. He’s not meant to pitied.
I remember someone getting mad because i made my william Portuguese ethnicity who was born in England and this one girl got so mad 😭🙏
1. SHIPPING
I can understand if it makes you uncomfortable, but realistically There is nothing wrong with a 15+ year age gap as long as it is two consenting adults.
2. FLANDERIZATION
I find calling people's idea of certain FNAF characters flanderization to be a little contradictory considering that the characters are literally given little to no canon personality in the games.
3. BOOKS?
About the books btw, while they are highly subjective and unrelated to the games in a lot of ways, Scott himself said that the books CAN be used to clarify a few things in the game storyline. There are many theories and highly supported connections between the game and books that are direct parallels of each other. For instance, UCN is a parallel of the one book where Andrew torments William in a perma-hell while he is hospitalized. Heck, the Stitchwraith story is a parallel to a huge amount of game story situations. Such as;
(1) Being similar to Ennard
(2) Pretty much where all Golden Duo theories get their steam, as this story I believe is the one that introduced the idea of multiple souls possessing an animatronic.
1. Shipping
I understand that realistically there’s nothing wrong with 15+ age gaps, personally, I don’t have an issue with them in real life, it’s just how in media they’re usually portrayed and how they’re usually portrayed in gacha videos!
I think there is a difference between children having crushes on each other and shipping them together, I don’t have problems with people shipping the children as long as it’s not s-xual. I just won’t be showing romantic relationships with characters under the age of 12, especially since you can get weird comments on videos like that.
2, Flanderization
I mainly talking about when people make one thing they do/like they’re only personality trait. I do agree that Scott hasn’t given us some fully fleshed out characters- but I feel like the fandom should be able to expand and add to The characters if they don’t have proper personalities!
I do agree that a lot of the kids in the fandom probably don’t know anything about good character writing lol
I do agree with that in canon. I mainly meant the people who just made those three core aspects of her character, the only thing about her instead of making her something past her father! I personally like making characters fleshed out/kinda realistic (can you make anything in Fnaf realistic lol?)
3, Books
I was mainly talking about the silver eyes trilogy, not the newer books.
THANK YOU. I hate when people ship the children because it’s like, why are you shipping kids??
If the ships are platobic it's fine but like if the ships are romantic nah bro-
Innit. I only do it in alive au, bc they are adults, over.
you act like childhood crush never existed.
@@seanmarley3598 yeah but making them in a relationship?? At like 5?? Your body isnt developed enough to know what you want.
@@BerrilolxoxChildhood crush and romantic relationship are sorta different you know.
Childhood crush are basically incomplete... I'll just copy from CHATGPT to learn difference.
The difference between a childhood crush and a romantic relationship lies in the depth of connection, emotional maturity, and mutual commitment involved:
Childhood Crush
Nature: Often one-sided and based on admiration or infatuation.
Romantic Relationship
Nature: Mutually agreed upon and built on shared feelings and intentions.
Basis: Involves emotional, intellectual, and sometimes physical attraction.
Intensity: More enduring, with deeper emotional bonds.
Development: Includes communication, shared experiences, and trust.
Commitment: Often involves exclusivity and long-term goals.
Context: Typically happens with greater emotional maturity and understanding.
A childhood crush is often a stepping stone toward understanding romantic feelings, while a romantic relationship requires a mutual commitment and deeper connection.
demonizing the missing children when their killer is barely demonized in half of these aus mmmm i know what this fandom is
i haven’t made a video ab the missing children in a year but if i do again i might actually take this advice lol cause it makes sense now that i think ab it 💀💔
As a Willy's Wonderland TikTok creator, I often face frustrating comments.
@@MyStarryRainbowPrettyCures she was different in sister location, you can tell the difference between how she is in sister location than how she is in Fnaf 6
What I was saying in my points about Elizabeth is making her one dimensional and that being her only personality trait, it’s fine if people want her to make her father proud, I have that in my own AU, but I feel like that should not be her only personality trait! Just to clarify my points ^^
Dude, I don’t mean any hate, but check on your text to speech bot, I think it’s having a heart attack
It is fr, i could not figure out how to fit it 😭
The fandom is just really bad with characterization in general. Cassidy isn't shown to be vengeful; Micheal is more indifferent to the horrors he sees, like being scooped an "oh damn," Vibe.
If William and Henry got babysitters their families would still be whole (joke).
Jokes aside, I agree with all of this.
5:18 *begins to shrug casually*
The fact I would have made Cassidy a demon if not for design choice, I believe I have been called out
2:25 as an og as well that is so real. BRO. I MADE FANART OF IT TOO😭
Everytime I say “my AU” I always add: “Not canon” because obviously mine doesn’t make sense due to three uncanon characters interacting lots with main canon characters
the thing that I hate now is the excused William would use like saying "glitchtrap controlled William"
I actually did not know that Henry was neglectful 🧘erm awkward..... time to go alter my AU 😇🏃🏃
Warning: Huge yap session
Alright, firstly I want to say something about the skin tones.
Well the books ARE canon, but just a separate continuity
They are not part of the games Continuity, which is what I mean by canon! (Mainly talking about the silver eyes books, I honestly don’t wanna touch the mess that is the other books-)
To me, personally, they confuse the timeline much more than they answer and it assassinates Elizabeth’s character with how she is portrayed in them
@ 10000% the books have made the lore such a mess lol
@@TheKlownKid Fair enough, it is kinda concerning how she got locked outside in the first place, even if that was an honest mistake on Henry’s part
It's not uncommon to leave your child alone at a party for children especially when someone you trust is watching them
So real. I honestly have no idea why Cassidy so demonized, like this kid were most mysterious(cassidyvictim or cassidysis theories for example)than angry(in fnaf 3 5th soul just go away like other souls, but not put William in personal hell)
Making Henry saint is so funny, like William who made animatronic for his daughter and warned her(it was day they just opened, so he could go to cb w Elizabeth later idk) is bad, but Henry who left his, ~3-7 years old daughter on rainy night is literally hero.(I also can't believe, that Henry didn't know about what William doing, like how would HE know Elizabeth in circus baby? Intuition? Or William had his own dairy or what?)
And Elizabeth is just my personal pain. She's my fav character, and she only "daddy will be proud" or "nah, I'm gonna be manipulative brat because I can", I dgaf if someone do this, but she really have no personality at this point..
When I do my AU of the missing children, I always make the OC an angry and lost soul and not a demon...
4:00 OML. YES. FINALLY SOMEONE TALKING ABT THIS!!!
