Youth Hunt Unleaded

MPG Ranch is a conservation property in western Montana with an education program that promotes youth hunting. This video follows hunters on the ranch during the 2017/2018 season and covers our use of non-lead ammunition. We use public hunting to control deer and elk populations. MPG Ranch hunt coordinators Dr. Philip Ramsey, Mike Henning, and Craig Jourdonnais guide the majority of our public hunters as they pursue antlerless elk on the ranch. Mike McTee conducts studies on non-lead hunting.

Wild Films photographer, Cherin Spencer-Bower, spends time outdoors behind a camera filming wildlife and scenes around the Western United States and New Zealand. She has a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Biology and found her interest in studying birds, mainly raptors, on migration. She is an experienced wildlife photographer, drone operator, and video editor taking her films from their first appearance on camera to final production on screen.
