I'm a web developer... Over the past few years, watching your videos, I have realized I missed my calling in life. If I could go back and do it all again, I would work in restaurants as a cook. What an amazing life you must have!
Whenever I search for new recipes, I always end up cooking your recipes...I remember my mother used to give a twist to the dhanya chutney...she never added mint though...after making a fine paste (we didn't have mixie then, she used sil batta) she used to fry it in oil...in the paste she used onion, ginger and garlic, chilly...salt and a little sugar. I loved it and used to finish my portion of rice only with that...in Bengali we called it dhoney pata bata (dhanya patta paste)
Dear vahchef,u always have been a great inspiration for me when it's come to cooking.i always implement your recipes in my own ways. Can we not use fresh pomegranates pl….?
Ur a Pro Master Chef!!
Instead of Pomegranate seeds what else can be used?
If I can't find dried pomegranate seeds at my grocery store would ground sumac be good to use?
You can use lemon.
Is this the same chutney for Samosa too?
and other alternative of pomoganate seeds(anardana seeds)?
U HAVE ROOST MINT AND GREEN CHILL, IT GIVES GREAT TST
cant find dried pomgranate seeds where I live but I found pomgranate molasses. Would that work ?
Not the same as dried pomegranate. Taste very different and will change the taste completely. Try tamarind or amchur or squeeze the juice of a lime..
Please list ingredients which can be copied and pasted into my recipe book as it is difficult to write with the presentation. Thanks
Thank you so much chef!!
