This is a good example of how Ronnie Wood collaborates well with other artists and can also function as lead vocal. Besides being talented he should also receive credit for his personality and charitable work

Ronnie you and Ringo are a killer combination. You two are legendary musicians and artists. You are sounding freaking amazing. Ronnie you have so many talents under your belt. You play guitar, paint, draw, and sing. Ronnie you are legendary. You have a beautiful smile and a awesome personality. You deserve your flowers 💐. Keep rockin and rolling Ronnie. You pick some phenomenal musicians to play music 🎶 🎵 with. You are cool and bad ass.
Ringo's drumming is so tight, and a different sound to what I'm used to. Simple but great fills. He seems like he was everyone's mate in the 70s and I bet he and Woody had loads of fun.
Now that Charlie has joined the Big Band In Heaven 😂😹😂 The Stones should have asked Ringo 2 Join them 2 take over 4 Our Beloved Charlie ... 😂😂😂😂😂 Mayb I would go 2 see them in concert. This was great ! Happy 75th 🎂🎂Birthday Woody🎂
@Mike Barooshian I think IF The Stones Still Had Charlie even with No Bill W then it would B ok 2 still tour. Truthfully There is NO Better Front Man Than Mick n Keith n Ronnie n Darryl R Stones always will b BUT I think when Charlie Passed Mick Should have did as Plant did when Bono passed. NO More Band. Now it seems the stones wanna make even more money .. God Bless The Stones As They R still the Greatest Rock n Roll Band In the World.
@Mike Barooshian when Dick Taylor left Bill Wyman took over. Strictly speaking none of the current members of the Stones are original. All original members have past away.
The words, "you should have been buried alive, cuz you're far too pretty to die" are classic rock and roll. The hard rockers are always living every day like it's the last!
Ronnie rocks!! And so does Ringo! For anyone who criticizes Ringo's drumming, they're nuts. He ROCKS IT on this track! He is VERY versatile! He can play with anyone and bring down the house!
Anyone who knows drumming love Ringo’s drumming. He’s not a showy flashy drummer; he’s a tasteful drummer who always drums to complement the composition perfectly.
That was incredible unbelievable thank you for sharing Ronnie was Ringo in the bag and of course your buddy Bobby Keyes holy moly did he blow the horns thank you for sharing
Thank god for these treasures found on RUclips, fell down the rabbit hole, what a find, everything has been said already but thank you for sharing you just made my night. I now have a new favorite song.
I don't have my copy of the album handy but I think Mick Fleetwood played drums on this song for the studio version. Charlie played on most of the rest of it but Ringo wasn't on it which means this video was recorded live.
@@mdteletom1288 Charlie played on this track on the album. Mick Fleetwood played on Seven Days but Charlie played on all the other tracks. It’s a fine album perhaps his best
This was a great album. I played it a lot back then. Loved the album cover as well. I think this was Ronnie’s best solo album. He tourney with this that summer as the New Barbarians. KR and Bobby Keys.

I have the Ian Mac CD Trouble Maker. The album and is a great one it was released in 1979 featuring Ron Wood and company and Ringo Star played the drums on some of those tracks. I never saw this Incredible video footage before, Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!
@@annemarie7254 All of the songs on that album are great. Headline is a great tune. I can't believe that I found that record in CD format and that it's still in print after its release date in 1979, 41 years and a lifetime ago. B Well !

Ron Wood was great when he was with Faces and I forget who all he played with after that mostly with Rod Stewart also from Faces but a great guitarist where ever he went
What a bunch of wholesome and clean living guys. I can guarantee there was absolutely no cocaine taken whatsoever during these sessions. No siree Bob 😉👍

Ronnie's solo music is so underrated, amazing track

Ringo on drums, Ian McLagan on keyboards and Bobby Keys on sax.
Well, Ronnie always knew how to choose the company.
Album version with Charlie on drums is better !!
Gimme Some Neck' is great album !!
Ronnie should have stayed playing bass and backing up Jeff Beck !!!!

He did this record and tour after being asked to join the Rolling Stones He wanted them to know they were not just getting a guitar player
@@dmackmatt He made the album "Gimme Some Neck" in 1979.Then toured with "New Barbarians" with Keith Richards on other guitar.
That's why Ringo is the best "song" drummer ever.. He can fit right in with any artist, and just compliment the song so well!
This is what Ringo should have been doing all through the 1970’s, playing those drums on stage.
Ron Woods solo albums are bloody GREAT!
Hell ya
Yes,They really ARE, FANTASTIC, Walter B.Memphis.!!😛☠🎼🌠💯
@Ronnie Wood This sounds almost exactly like a comment from "Robert Plant" who replied to one of my posts saying the same thing.

What a kick ass band! And Ronnie’s nasty blues rock riffing. Ad in Mr. Saturday Night on sax and it’s a rocking affair.
Ringo behind the drumkit! So cool 😎
