Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese male volleyball player.
Nishida currently plays for JTEKT Stings, a volleyball club based in Kariya, Aichi, Japan. He made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League (Japan) on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakail. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6 as well as Japan men's national volleyball team.
He is one of the youngest players in the 2018 roster of the Japan men's national volleyball team and FIVB cup Final. He made his first international performance with the Japanese national team in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. In June 2018, he played a pivotal role in securing Japan's first win in 11 years against Italy where he collected 24 points from 21 spikes and 3 aces. In September 2018, in a match against Argentina in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, Nishida became the youngest player ever to score 30 points in a match. In June 2019, Nishida broke serving records in the VNL history after hitting 7 aces in a single game during a match against Bulgaria

Volley ball is such an underrated sport, it’s kinda of frustrating how some people look down at volleyball tbh
Do u think soccer is harder then volleyball bc I’m starting to enjoy volleyball more idk what to do bc I love both but my parents won’t be able to do both
To me, volleyball is that sport where you just can’t take your eyes away. So many things can happen in a second. It’s really exciting to watch unlike some other sports.
I didn't like volleyball at first not until I watched Haikyuu last 3 months. I never got interested with this sport because I thought this is for the girls only and you just slam2x and done HAHAHA! Now that I've learned so much about this sport, I got interested and I can say that this sport is awesome.
I used to be a part of my school soccer club. I wasn't very good, i just had pace but the reason i left is because the sport got kind of boring to me. A lot of my friends still play but I don't find the sport too fun. I've started volleyball a few weeks ago and am hoping that my school will get a club.
In my honest opinion, volleyball is hands down the most fun sport.
I think it's because this sport is hard. You need to have a good teamwork and coordination to be good at this sport.
He was 18 that time. I can't imagine how his opponents in highschool handle his serves and spikes. :O

he went to school here in Yokkaichi and I’ve friends who played volleyball with him. He has been a volleyball monster since Kaisei Highschool. He was really well known around here for his talents. We are really proud of him for making this far.

That setter would be Naonobu Fujii (3). He is such a great setter🙂 I love how clean was that set as well.
I suggest looking up their other setter as well! Masahiro Sekita (12) is an amazing setter. He could set anywhere and I love the way he uses his spikers.

Volleyball is a team and group effort. Heights matter but with Japan’s team, it’s the whole team that matter most. All the members were alive and gives their best. Japan’s team gave the audience a more exciting game and put volleyball into the awareness of the sports audience.
