This so much resonates with me. The more you use it the more you connect with it. Especially with cameras, you always will remember moments you spent with it to capture the images.
@@Olliegroot for me the trist i build upp for the camera is the bokfest thing. And also that you get one with the camera after so much use, you can use it fully out without thinking.
Before I broke my Canon 80D I was totally fine for results I got with it. But once it broke the invisible bandage released too and I had an opportunity to dream. Now my life continues with r6.
NO! You are NOT crazy at all about being emotionally tied to your camera! I have been in the same place! I wish I could afford the Sony a1. I am waiting on the Sony a7V - scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of 2025. I will pair it with my Sony a7siii. (I might sell that one for the new Sony a7s iv that is also due out next year!
@@winbjorkphoto Yes, it's possible that Sony will drop the a7s series since they offer such a good selection of video cameras in the FX series. Although I enjoy taking videos, my greatest photography passion is Aurora photography - which is why I have the A7siii. I just get discouraged with its 12mp in my wildlife photography because I can't crop into my photos very much, and I am often not able to get very close to my subjects. Hopefully, the upcoming a7v will have the predicted 42 or 44 mp. For me, that should be sharp enough! I have been enjoying your videos of your bird-watching hide! Excellent!! :-)
I was in the same position and now that my A1 (got mine on launch week) is gone I too am wondering did I do the right thing , now I am waiting for the mk2 in 3-4 weeks

So true ☺️🙏🏼✨
Wise words from a very talented photographer
Thank you 🙏🏼
Camera and car - it’s almost family members when you use it every day!
Completely understand this feeling!

I've been so attached to my cameras that not only once I've bought back the cameras I've sold when the buyer decided himself to sell it later on :)...
✨☺️👍
