Wow, that kid is really relentless in proving that Akash is not blind!
There should be atleast one such kid in the locality. 😄
I feel like Akash had to have done something odd to make the kid question it so much
Funny thing... That explosive reaction to the video of Akash not being blind and Simi being naked actually saved her life... Crazy how a negative can truly be a blessing...
what is relentless
that kid is so annoying!
He did that because people will be considerate to him out of sympathy not to peek pretty girls
Finally someone pointed that out in comments! 😂 I was looking for such comment... This video's creator is lying about protagonist
He actually did that to improve his focus to create music. Lol

The ending is actually open to imagination, he hits the can means he can see, which means his eyes are fine and the ending was all made up by him and in reality they sold Simi's organs to become rich and he got his eyes back.
Exactly. They carryout the doctor's plan and he gets his cornea transplant.
Omg, that’s actually so creative tho!
Yeah but like how did they sell her organs if she was dead and burnt in the crash
@@nambam5409 the story that Simmi attacks the doctor and starts driving the car is not true. In reality, doctor successfully gives her sedatives and puts her to sleep.
So, she never escapes and starts driving the car. So the crash also never happens.

You have missed the plot of the movie. Akash is someone who'll tell any kind of story to get him that sympathetic approach. In the end it's shown that akash use the cane with a handle of "hare". Why did he choose hare as the handle?
What really transpired at the end was, Simi was killed (for the organ surgery), akash and doctor split the money, akash got his eye surgery done. The story of "accident" was something made up by akash to make sohphie like him again.
Yup that was what I was wondering. He made up the story of him being blind at the end to Sophie. But he could actually see due to eye surgery. It was truly a dark plot twist
"leaving us wondering if he can still see" he didn't miss anything, he just forwarded it the same way as the movie did; in an open ended way for you to figure out
Yeah you are totally right finally I understand the end, I was wondering the same 2years ago and even tried to search on internet. thanks

@HungLikeALemur well if he was blind how did he know about the hare?

This has to be the best story I heard. It has everything I love, stories build on lies, deceit, betrayals, short romantic interest and open interpretation ending.
Whoever wrote the story is clearly a genius!
there are so many crazy Indian movies like that and this one is so dope
Indeed Sriram Raghavan is a genius. One of the finest Indian storytellers. He also directed Badlapur which in my opinion is his best film.
You should watch Raman Raghav. It's a mind-blowing crime thriller
Hey Adam, thanks a lot for recapping this gem of a movie. Its one of my favourites from Bollywood. I would like to know what's your take on the ending? Do you think he lied about not wanting to kill Simi, and actually went through with the plan, or was he telling the truth and he is still blind?
Adam is just the narrator tho
Also,
Did you not watch the movie properly?
They made it pretty clear what he did in the end
@@bait5257 umm, no they didn't? The audience hears Akash's version of the story(which may or may not be true since he is trying to paint himself as innocent). Then we see him kick the can away easily, raising questions about whether he really can see(since that would mean he killed Simi after all). That's what an open ending is.

He sold liver and got his vision in the end
The director himself explained the end in one video
This is one of the best Bollywood film ever made. It's just mind boggling and leaves the ending open.
I actully laughed when they revealed that the kind neighbors tried to sell his organs.
I know it's sad and dark, but it caught me off guard and I think it's hillarious.
I always thought you might leave some details behind. This is the first film which I have watched and you have made recap on, and I must say you give ALL the details ! Thank you !
The last ending is a made up one by Akash. If he couldn't see, then how did he knew it was a rabbit? So he must have lied and Simi probably died and got her organs sold.
Akash could reason that the farmer or hunter who was about to shoot that rabbit came up and told Akash after Hearing sound of the car crash.
No i am not gay.😆
@@thecommentorbelowmeisgay3495 even so how come he was driving?

It won't matter as the ending shows him hitting a can while walking with a blind man's stick. That was really great scene. Proved he can see but who knows if he got eyes from her or not. It was never made clear. Maybe he got money and went to a better hospital to get eyes.
You must have a huge international audience i’m guessing? Not complaining because i get to experience a bunch of new movies i’v never heard of so thanks!
This movie won an award. The name of the actor is Ayushmann Khurana. He has been in many thought provoking movies. One of my favourite actor. Even the actress playing the negative role is a great actress. Her name is Tabu. One thing the youtuber did not mention is the fact that after meeting Sophie in London, when he was talking to her outside a cafe, a lady came to him and said he had forgot his stick and offered the stick to him.

Good summary, but I recommend watching this movie. One of the best I've seen, easily a 10/10. Brilliant plot and excellent actors.
What am I likely to believe: That Akash was the paragon of compassion and was saved by a flying rabbit, or he got 25M bucks, tax free, just by getting rid of an annoying and mouthy lady that blinded him and had been trying to kill him the whole time? Yeah, I don't think it's as open ended as they make it out to be.
What do you think happened then?
most logical ending, doctor killed her and sold her liver, gave some money to aaksh so he could move to london.
In the last scene akash actually hit the soda can with his stick that clears the doubt that he is not blind and have his eyes got fixed from the money given by doctor and enjoying the life of musician
Yeah but not everyone understands the ending like this recap
Oh paul! Thrillers aren't for you then lol. Just enjoy the movies kiddo!
Good story indeed. Although the ending is open ended, my take on it is that the story that Akash told Sophie was all made up to gain her sympathy. I mean come on, he couldn't have seen everything that happened and explain the details to her can he? could he see the hare in his story? Maybe he took the doctor's offer in the end, thus gained his eyesight back.

As a musician I’d rather just be As good as I possibly can, then pretending to have a disability and be an okay musician. People thinking I am a better musician then I actually am, would make me depressed over time lol. Amazing how much egos can take over.
That wasn't the reason why he pretended to be blind though. That was just a happy accident/the result of why he really did it-- because he felt that sight stifled his creativity. He could see the music with his eyes shut. Plus, he was being as good a musician as he possibly could already. I don't think it had anything to do with ego. Rich people are "creative and eccentric" while poor people are "crazy and deluded ego maniacs". Everyone knows that, just look at Andy Warhol. If he wasn't rich would we even know his name?
@@hotcrazycatladyme168 i dont know who Andy Warhol is. But music is an industry that has been driven by egos for years. You kind of need a little bit of ego to make it lol. So if I’m understanding your point where your saying only poor people have an ego, I would disagree.
