I think the doll captures her very well. I also admire how she pretty much took care of herself since she didn't have anyone. So while she was kind of tough sometimes, she still showed her feminine side, like with her cooking and those iconic rose earrings that I liked. Since I do kinda like roses, those always stuck out in my memory about her. Like I said with the other dolls in the last video comment I made, they are just so friggin pretty, and Makoto definitely looks amazing. If money weren't a problem, you could bet I'd want to go for all of them. I'd be a bit worried about my clumsy hands with the assembly process, but I'd like to hope I'd do fine. I'd probably be nervous like "please please please don't break/tear anything" the whole time.

She is my favorite scout too! I was also a tomboy growing up and her birthday is 5 days before mine so I think that's why I started liking her but as I watched the show and learned more about her she is just a great character and role model!

Oh my gosh, yes! The biggest tip is do not pull on her pony tail! Friends in Japan warned me about that and I am glad they did! Good luck with yours! She was my most difficult yet!
Jupiter is also my favorite! I am relieved that I wasn't the only one having issues getting her wig on as I thought I was doing something wrong. I started with a wig cap but the wig itself was just not having it so I ended up leaving the cap off for now. Piercing her ears was not as horrifying as I thought it would be as the rose earrings really complete the look! Great job with the video - looking forward to more!
The wig was the most challenging part this time. I had a hecka hard time. Messed it up pretty good. I am so terrified to pierce their ears. How did it go for you? Also thank you so much!
@@Raindrops-we7pr I used a mechanical pencil and lightly marked the spot where I wanted to use my hand drill for each ear. That way I could get an idea of level/even positioning and I could also just erase any bit of the mark left afterwards with an eraser. Make sure to decide the angle/vector of how you drill inward for each ear as that too affects how the earrings look once they're in (more on this below). I also didn't drill completely through each ear. I twist the drill slowly until I could start to see it reach the other side and then just used the earring pin to poke the rest of the way through the ear. Regarding drilling angle, I messed up for one of ears due to the angle of how I started drilling. Thankfully it wasn't so bad as I just used the same entry hole I had initially created and just angled the hand drill to get a better matching angle for what I had done with the other ear. The small exit holes on the back of the ears really didn't show up as much as I thought they would with the pins of each earring making tiny exit holes. For the drill bit, I basically picked one that closely matched with the rose earring pin width. I picked up the hand drill from Amazon (lots to choose from, I went with this one: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FJ6VD2P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Hope that helps!

I tried pre-stretching it a little, inverting it, putting the vinyl cap in the wig and popping that on the head but no dice. Just had to work it on slow and steady. I think yours turned out well! Other wigs I've had just slip right on without much fuss and probably could use the wig cap to help them stay in place! I replied back to Raindrops 2019 in this comment thread with some tips on how I went about doing the ear piercing. Overall, not too bad first time doing the piercing. Definitely some points to consider such as where on the ear you want to pierce and the angle of how you want earrings to go in so they match up looking head on towards the face of the doll. Good luck if you do try piercing the ears for any or all of the scouts in your growing collection!

Well this doll in some ways better than the Bandai as it more have more features and more ways to pose kinda like those hot toys figuring. Maybe up to individual taste still feel the Bandai brand sailor Jupiter figure more closer to the likeness of sailor jupiter.

you can get Wig caps from other places like Amazon or Ebay. Tip: Ive used a ballon before.
