Great review, I am actually in this hotel and can't believe it - the RioSol was my number ONE in Gran Canarie. I have been here three times before and never complained but it is my LAST TIME for 100%. I will never come back again - so many broken things, dirty, in very bad condition.
Have stayed there for the past 18 years and never had any issues whatsoever, have had friends who had slight problems which were dealt with promptly and were also compensated for any inconvenience
Stayed here in 2022, had the same issues plus the rooms were infested with ants. The hotel did nothing to even try to get rid of them. Worst place we've ever stayed in the Canaries. Shame because there are some lovely places around the Riosol hotel.
Dont go it's full of ants and coackroaches and the rooms have bad repair jobs and look rundown. Reception staff are very rude and at times unhelpful. We had a family room which is on the 5th floor right under the pool and reception they played music so loud until 4 am after 2 days we requested to move to a different room. They didn't want to accommodate us at first. But they did in the end. I will say every room has a great views. This because the hotel Is so high up the hill trips to the beach required a taxi which to be fair are very cheap

Was there a few weeks back, loved it but had to get used to the ants if you leave any sugary things around
