My respects to you brotha! I run tracks for my church and yes preparation/setup for backing tracks, loops and ambiences takes A LOT of time and patience. I can see the sacrifice you made just by looking at the time (12:15 a.m) you were at the church. I salute you! This video was a mirror image of what I do every week. But its all for the glory of God and we do what we need to make sure our PW team makes it through every Sunday. Many blessings to you! Keep up the awesome job you do every week!
Hey how’s it going. Hope you get this. So what are your Tom sizes and heads on them? I know you have probably covered this before but can you rehash? Thanks if you can. Love your videos. I am a church drummer as well and I love your kit sound.
Become a better drummer. Focus on your basics, rudiments, playing to a metronome etc. Get your playing to a level where you're comfortable playing the songs. Then you can free your brain to actually worship rather than focusing 100% on your playing :)
Yo dude! So I’m seriously looking into getting that Abelton program. But I’m just wondering right now I have a Mac book air. Do you think a pro would be better to run that program? Or will the air be good enough?
It will work. It will most likely just get slower and bogged down faster than a pro will. Also, if you had a CPU heavy session in Ableton then your Macbook Air might crash.
Hey Daniel, love the vlog! what laptop stand is that you're using? I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find one like that. Thank and God Bless!
yeah ok, but why in separate sessions? just chop it up and have like a 40 scene session? jumping around to different instances of ableton is crazy. just a waste of time between songs.....
Who has time (or enough memory on your computer) to custom build all those songs into one session and remake all the markers and lay everything out? I may bounce songs out and create one master session if I'm playing something in advance, but to do that every weekend? nah. lol

Very very nice
Daniel Bernard; How do y’all run your loops and click? Do y’all run it all from one laptop? If so, how do you have a stereo loop with mono click?

Hey man. Do you have any experience in creating your own percussion loops? If so, it'd be cool to get a tutorial on how to do that.
I don't have a tutorial but I use a Maschine Mikro and the Maschine software to make loops and love it!
Daniel Bernard thanks, boss. You’re the man!
Do you give lessons

It's a Meinl laptop stand!
Is there a specific reason that you don't run all of your songs from the same session? Basically, you'd have 4 scenes (One for each song)
We like to retain the ability to jump to any section in the song, or edit on the fly if someone misses a cue or something.
Daniel Bernard Gotcha.
