- Adding & ending thread doesn't have to be intimidating! See exactly how I do it in herringbone (ndebele) stitch.
Beads used in this video were 11-458, Brown Iris. You can buy them here: shop.jillwisema...
Thank you for all your tutorials. You make everything seem so easy.
You'r a real great teacher!!
I love your solution to good half hitch knots. I have gotten early knots that I couldn't get out and my solution was to go through the loop and pull it down through the beads to hide it. I would rather not have gotten the looped knot in the first place. Thank you.
Thank you Jill. I've started several tubular herringbone projects and I needed to know this technique. I greatly appreciate all your videos.
An easy way to stop and start a thread !!!!!!! Thank you, Jill !!!
Love your tips on everything! They have been immensely helpful in learning to be a better beader, and solving the frustrating little problems that take away the joy! Thank you for them all!
Much quicker and neater than my method of weaving in at right angles and with no risk of distorting the weave.
Thank you!
Oh my gosh Jill, this is exactly what I needed! Love your tutorials and designs. Thank you very much for your thoughtful presentation!
Thanks Jill, I too have fallen in love with herringbone but wasn't happy with ending and beginning new thread. I was using the Peyote method plus adding knots. It was resulting in interruption in the fluidity of the piece. This will eliminate that problem ! Thank you. You are so generous to share.
Wishing you well with your improving your health issues.
Sadly, this came out after I had finished my first herringbone but I will know how to add the next time. Love your videos and your designs. I am getting everyone of my beading friends hooked also.
Thank you so much Jill. I so love your videos. They are easy to follow and your teaching method is the best! Thank you 🤓
Thanks for the tutorial. I really hate adding thread, but this should make it a lot easier, for herringbone at least. I'm a righty and I tend to do tubular beading in the anticlockwise direction, I find it interesting that you go the other way.
I do love the herringbone stitch also. Thank you for sharing.
up until 4:26 it is finishing off the previous thread, then, starts adding thread after that...I love the slinky herringbone!
Thank you so much. I have just completed a herringbone rope necklace and really don't like how it looks. Think I'll take it all out and start over. Wish I had seen this two weeks ago!
Thank You. I Love Herringbone. The light switched on.
Thank you. You make learning so easy!!
Hi Jill, you are so informative in what you create. Just love your videos and projects. I do have a couple of questions. Could you use Delicas instead of round seed beads and could you use Czech rounds instead of crystals in the slider beads? Thank you for all you do and your production crew is fabulous! Many thanks, Barb from Greenwood, IN. All the best!
Is it the same for the twisted herringbone ?
Thank you!
Thank you!!!! I got this!
Thanks so much. It is so easier more for me.
Does it matter what color you use, I see in all the videos dark colors.
So easy! Thank you.
Thank you so much you help me with a problem that was a madaning,
thank you
Suggestion - start your new thread before you finish the old. That way you know you are starting the new thread in the right place.
Rima Phillips great tip! Thank you!
Thanks!
finally, no more black fingertips, lol
