This is the story of Mouse, Mole and The Fallen Star, in English. Once there were two friends; a mouse and a mole. They were very happy together, sharing each other's sorrows, joy and even secrets. One day while gazing at the star studded sky, they saw a falling star. Both of them ran to find it as they thought that finding a falling star fulfils all the wishes. Neither could find it but both believed the other to have stolen it. they stopped being friends. They now did not talk with each other. As the summers got over, both started feeling lonely and sad. They started thinking that how good it was to be together and now they did not even want the star. One autumn morning both saw a gold leaf twirling and swaying in the breeze. It looked like a star. Both ran after it to catch it for the other but could not get it before it flew to the sky. Both cried out that neither needed a falling star any more ; instead wanted their friend back. The mouse and the mole hugged each other and lay happily on the grass watching the beautiful sky.
