This is why I stopped going to church. I told my family and one person no longer talks to me. I really can tell you, with all my education and even living in UK, I gave a lot of money to the different churches. My peace of mind came the day my eyes opened. It is funny now but lots of people are still stuck in this situation. My cousin does not wear ear rings, makeup she is struggling financially yet these types of people are taking advantage. My mum was the one that started us in the church scene. So glad I do not have kids that I put through this. Church is a business. My aunty's husband showed me a book written by an entrepreneur and starting a church is listed in the top 10 things to do to make money in Africa. These churches make more than any western business - because they are registered charities and charities in Africa are not regulated, they get away with spending all the donations. Private jets, designers clothes, shoes, bags, expensive luxurious cars and homes, travel abroad on expensive trips - too many people doing rituals, sacrifices of humans and animals - I feel so bad that I took someone to one of these churches and hope she does not go anymore. This nonsense is a terrible thing. Some sleeping with church members, male and female, kids being dragged into this shit.....not even sure what to say because I was part of this life - so glad I am not there.
