Slide or Die at ELDORA Speedway 410 Sprint Cars Podium at the Fast Half Mile

- Eldora Speedway is one of the fastest tracks in the country. I’ve been recording races for the past five years and never really did anything with it because I couldn’t figure out how to edit so this is some old footage probably 2017 in the SC racing 9X non wing sprint car. It was a BOSS event with a full field of cars and we start mid pack and charge our way towards the front! This turned out to be a slide fast with Chris Windom in the five car and others. Listen as we pedal our way to a Second place finish!

Every time I watch these videos of yours my head is tilted & feet are on my toes as if I'm driving. Some of the best action sports videos in existence, in my opinion.

We always have a great time when your in our car. We know the 9x will be going to the front. I remember that night quit well. Brings back the good times seeing Terry with his cigar. Sure miss him.
A mixture of Soft Pedaling and Dive Bombing, on those slick surfaces, brings the cream of the crop to the top finish positions. Good Run!

The Eldora guys really know how to make a track surface for real racing. We get to see the expert car set up and drivers like this. Hook it up for time trials and then burn it off for everything else. Love the content and the real life commentary. Keep it up bud!

I was there that night wrenching on the 320 car Bill Rose was driving. We won our heat race by a decent margin but just missed the setup in the feature and finished 8th.
This shows how difficult it is when it’s slick very entertaining. 😀

Non-wing at Eldora seems fun. Been in a non-wing with BOSS 4 times within the one season i got in a 410, and ended up at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Track conditions we're real similar to this race.
man that looked like ice out there, shinier then usual even for eldora, looked from this angle not near as rutty as some tracks but that looked like ice out there and I can tell your just not bitting in much on this so your really feathering it in and out, would hate to try to drive a huge silver crown on that, with it like that though those seem to favor really long skiddy shuttle sideways though the whole turn kinds of slides due to size and maybe more in the old days when the tires were more agressive and skinnier that they could and had to do that, but that looks like no digging just burnning the tires off of it like skating on ice with dull blades you can go but you dont get all your energy into the surface of the ice and takes more effort to get around.
still going that many places, and getting second shows the amount of somewhat natural talent you have, and just how steely your nerves are to pull off moves that some might not try, to get that far up.
Tom have you ever ran pavement? did you like racing silver crown cars when you had the opperatunity? like when they had that race at terre haute and stopped it after 2 laps due to it being so dry and too dusty to even race?

The good ole 9x. The first race i saw you run you were in the orange and black 9x at az speedway. Ran 3rd. Lets see some wing footage in the blue 9x. Love the videos!
Great drive. Takes great car control in the slick. Not a fan of Windom after he ran that guy over in the silver crown race a few years back. I’d like to see you in the same car for a few years, I think you could run for a title 👍
