so pretty. For such a small country, with a big population I was surprised at the size of their untouched areas of forest, etc. Loved the teahouse and gardens. xx
The production quality has gone up a few notches. Beautiful drone work, perfect audio, multiple camera angles of the same shot and an excellent selection of music. I’m super impressed. Congrats on your adventure and the immense amount of work it takes to produce this. Stay safe.

Amzing video and so interesting. Japan must be such a facinating country to visit. I have one question, if you can help - from running time 6:35 to about 8:20 of this video you have an amazing piece of music. Do you have the name and the artist/s perhaps ? Enjoy and stay safe.

Most municipalities here in Japan test the sirens every day. Usually, the test coincides with a poignant and relevant time during the day. For example, Maebashi City in Gunma does it at noon (lunchtime!) and many others at either the end of daylight (mostly 17:00), but Futtsu City does it at 16:00 during the winter or to simply signify the end of 'business hours' (17:00) which is largely irrelevant as things and people simply keep going anyway.
Hi Leigh my wife really loves food and although we know its not always possible she would like you to comment on may be what it tastes like and may be main ingredient. I don’t care much i will settle for a braai😂😂
Describing food. It is very interesting and also not an easy exercise. Like sommelier. An art. Next time 😉 but at the moment plenty of 2min noodles and rice.
Bonjour,il faut demander à un Japonais quand la sirène se met en route, ils ont tous une application qui dit de quoi il s’agit ,les routes que vous fréquentez on l’air plus adaptées au Jimmy qu’au Defender.....Bon séjour à vous.
We stayed in Russian speaking countries for 12 months and didn't learn as much Russian as we should of but I always learn the word for fish in any new language as I don't eat it 😜🐠
Correct etiquette for walking along the 'sando', the path up to a shrine is to walk to one side. The centre is reserved for the God. As you've seen, lots of Japanese people are unaware and do this, but I have been scolded many a time for not walking to one side. "Japanese spice" and it has written 'ステーキスパイス'(sute-ki supaisu=steak spice). 🤣 Take anything any Japanese person says with the preface 'Japanese XXXX' with a bucket of salt. Most of the time it's a Japanese version of something prevalent all over the world or even a common product made by an international conglomerate that is available here also. You will need to dig to find the real Japanese treasures. For overlanders, the word for 'mountain pass' in Japanse is 'toge' and the character for this is originally Japanese '峠 comprised of mountain '山' and jp '上' and down '下'. The three components are of course originally Chinese however.
Suoerbe................ vivement la suite.................... bonne route.

How nice are all the Japanese you guys meet. how bloody beautiful is the place. cheers
The hanging bridge and the garden wow!!! Cool stuff guys!!
I thought Japan was an overcrowded country, but when I see your video, it seems to be one of the wildest country I've ever seen.
There a lot of remote areas and untouched nature in Japan.
We also like to avoid big cities 😉
