This is how you do a performance where you have backup dancers. Have the main group pop out in bright colors while the rest are monochromatic. Can't tell you how many performances I've seen from other groups where there's like 30 people on stage and you can't tell who the main ones are and who the backup dancers are.
I turned my display to mono chrome and they still stand out from the support dancers. It's the strength of performance not the costume alone. P.S. I have just started paying attention to this group recently.
KenKennedy nope It has always sounded western. In fact music trends first start in the west and then similar Kpop songs following that trend come out, when that music trend in the west has started to die out. Also, newer Kpop music sounds more ''american' because chances are, they were produced by one. It isn't rare in Kpop to hire foreign producers. Albeit Kpop production used to be a lot more electronic and better and more unique in sound and organisation like here in this song.
Kpop has always been experimental so I'm not surprised how much the styles have changed especially if they're going by trends just like how American pop has changed drastically over the past decades

Yes the newer groups are talented and really popular but I still miss how charismatic and have powerful presence 2nd gen groups are. Or maybe Im just old to keep up with the newer groups. But for me 2nd gen is the Golden Era of Kpop.
