It's a rhesus macaque. You don't get it do you? These baby monkeys are tortured, their needs never met, forced to walk upright, which is unnatural and painful for them. They are teased, tormented, and most go insane. Monkeys are not pets! They are wild animals!
when she makes that little sound & reach out for you she wants her mom. you can just love her stroke her and hold her close. I even you so much. I do the same with my dogs.

God knows their fate in the wild, maybe they wouldn't made past 5yrs or in some cases we see at Angkor (think that is spelled correctly) didn't last a yr old due to motorized vehicles (one sweet girl which still breaks my heart, Solita is one, not even 3mnths old). I know I would have one until old age because not a pet, they are more!

They never stop looking for their real Monkey Mommy. It causes them irreparable psychological damage. A monkey can never truly be domesticated. You can find some videos, on the Internet, of the damage done to them and see them rocking themselves, back-and-forth, see them bitting themselves, pulling out their own hair and damaging their skin by picking at it, you wouldn’t wish you had one then. But I do know exactly what you mean because sometimes I wish that I could just hold one, they are so very cute!!!
