I see pounded yam l remember my mum.Esan mother, she makes some of the best pounded yam and ogbono soup money can buy. Her soul rest in peace. Well done for helping the lady and paying her right, God will always reward that here on earth. To be honest l was shocked that 26 pounds sterling can buy all that food in Nigeria, same stuff here in England might be 150 plus a arm and a leg.😂😂Thanks.

Na wa oo...if they ever told me as a kid growing up that one day the 10pcs of Yam my dad usually buys at 95-100 naira that I will buy it at 1,000-1,500...and still live to see I pcs at almost N1,000... I would have sworn it will never happen!!!

I applaud your generosity. It is true that we pay full price at the supermarket even though they have a very high profit margin. But we haggle with the poor petty traders struggling to eke a living. I have learn one thing watching this video and that is not to bargain with these traders anymore. The problem is that if they know that they will take advantage of me and charge me twice or more the price. In fact I cannot even let them know where I reside as one tailor decided to double what I should pay him over the price we previously negotiated three days before!
If you think they will take advantage of you, here is what I will do. I will haggle with the person, get a good price. Then add a bit extra when I'm paying.
